I’ll post whatever pictures you guys want to compare. I noticed it wasn’t the same animal right out of the box. Pictures don’t usually “do justice” but I will make them. I didn’t look at a foot or toe pattern? I’m looking at the most visible pattern and that’s the chevrons and the thickness of the tail. This guy is very small compared to what that picture on the tup top shows

Reptiles can and will adjust their body temperature in correspondence to their environment. This will also affect color, hence patterning.

Male on left ( hot or cold) chevrons are choppy and misaligned. First tel tail sign! Then the size was the biggest tell of them all. He’s small. Way to small to be the iggy pictured

You can't even tell patterning on this, if this was your only picture received then it was your fault for assuming he had patterning

Yeah it’s a mess, because I’m trying to play catch up and defend myself over a bunch of computer nazis. I said I would refund he100$ I could care less for the 99th time man. If no one wants to look at my “mess” of evidence (pictures would be sufficient I would have thought, but by all the attacks on here against me and telling me I’m somehow the “bad guy” guess I’m wrong) seems like the majority of you guys here have a problem with me and the way I’m handling the situation..? I love lewisi BEEN catching desert iguanas with my cousins every summer by the dozens. I have no problem keeping this little guy and raising him up right (going to need a lot of work)

Please answer this... if you felt you got ripped out and others with Hero experience agreed with you Would you return an animal (your only leverage) to the person who sent you a different iggy than pictured? Well would you!??

And remember folks the picture he sent me Via email was BEFORE I had the animal in hand. I say this because I realize the picture he sent me of the iguana in the cage looks like the one I received BUT PLEASE remember all I had to Go Off was the pictures Posted Here On Fauna. This is why I kept asking for clearer pictures and when he never sent more I didn’t want to go threw what happened last time with this guy so I said screw it, ship the lewisi before it gets cold and Christmas hits.

Yes I'd return it, fist because it would probably get neglecting for not being what I wanted. But if the person didn't refund fully then I'd contact authorities cuz then it's stealing and you'll have a much higher leverage against the person

The animal he had posted for sale and the animal I received.... you cannot tell me it’s my fault that the picture he sent me in a 12x24 cage with the screen on is evidence he sent the correct animal. yes, I agree 100% that animal in that picture looks like the one I received! But how was I supposed to know when I was going OFF the pictures he had for sale which by the way are clear and unblocked by a cage and in clear lighting. That my friend would be called bait and switch! Plain and simple. You don’t post an in animal for sale and then all sly like sneak in a picture of a different animal you intend to send and everything is A OK.... no.

I’m not here to blame anyone. I’ve taken the blame for dealing with this guy. I’ve made that clear in almost everyone of my post. And yes I do remember how I paid. Exactly... I haven’t once stated I wouldn’t do either one. I simply said, John and I have tried working this out before this thread once opened to NO resolve. We stopped contacting eachoher when Christmas came up. We both stopped contact and I assumed we would both pick up and resolve the issue after th holidays. I then get a notification this guy has started a thread on fauna posting all my info and flipping the script calling me the scammer ha ha (not funny). A lot of reptiles change contrast with temp, lighting conditions etc. I see some differences in the pictures and some similarities. Nothing I see is definitive in the pictures. Size, color or chevrons. Also it is difficult to follow your pictures as they are not labeled. You have pictures of the animal in question and pictures of your other animals.

The reason that some on the BOI are having an issue with you is that you should not keep the animal and $100 that he sent you to ship the animal back. It makes you look bad not the OP.

When you say that you "will NOt refund the money until it’s resolved here." What does that mean? If you send the $100 back it is resolved. If you return the animal (for what ever reason, color, size, misrepresentation or not) and get a refund it is resolved. What do you want??? Isnt that fair??
