In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

The easy solution would be to choose another browser.

It's just weird because it always worked until a week and a half ago. Just wasn't sure is I did something wrong in my settings.
So, are other Edge users having this same problem?

When you get to the attachment page, there should be a chart showing the file types acceptable as well as the dimensions and/or file size limits of those files.
Sorry, but there has to be limits on image and file sizes, otherwise people will be uploading images that cannot be viewed without some pretty extensive scrolling being needed. It is rarely the case that someone actually NEEDS to upload a 20 megapixel image to show what they need to show.
So you do need to know the sizes of the images you want to upload, and be prepared to modify them if they do not fit within the constraints of the attachment process.
I believe the limits I have set are reasonable, but if some think they are not, please let me know.

No never had a problem with size. I just never had that problem before or it said file too big. Just glad to figure it out

Ok i think this pretty much answers the question I had. If I wanted to add more then 4 pics I just have to add more to a single file then down load that file?

You could put more than one image in a file...but I probably wouldn't choose that option.
For advertising purposes, my preference was to use a photo host (photobucket, for example). Using the IMG codes, the images can be inserted into the body of the ad - rather than at the end - allowing for descriptions of each. That eliminated any guesswork as to which animals were which, and kept things organized.
If you need more images for other reasons, such as a BOI thread, just add them in another post.

BTW, I increased the number of attached photos (or other files) from four (4) to six (6). I had some of my own photos to attach to a thread, and was just too lazy to do them four at a time. So what the hell....
What is the current file size limitation for attached photos? I seem unable to use the exact same photo I posted just last month with no issue. It is 1.44 MB.
Did anything change with your account within the past month?
I checked and the maximum file size limit for any attachment is 1 megabyte. A total of 4 attachments are allowed per single post. Sorry, but I do have to implement flood controls to keep malicious parties from trying to cause issues with excessive file sizes.
If this is not enough, throw some good arguments at me why I should make it larger and I will consider it.

Registered members - 2 attachments @ 500KB each
Contributor level members - 4 attachments @ 1MB each
Sponsors - 6 attachments @ 2MB each
Benefactor level members - 8 attachments @ 4MB each
Endowment level members - 12 attachments @ 8MB each
Might as well make note here of some of the perks for each membership level.
Bumps per 30 day period:
Registered members - 1 bump
Contributor level members - 3 bumps
Sponsors - 10 bumps
Benefactor level members - 30 bumps
Endowment level members - 150 bumps
Time limit between bumps:
Registered members - 24 hours

Looks like you bumped up the limits a bit. I understand the rationale for limiting them, no issue there. I'll have another go at it, but I think this should solve the issue (assuming that's all it was).
