    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

It really, really won't.

This isn't a situation where someone disagreed about needing to make good and then finally was convinced to do the right thing and all is forgiven.

Paying what he owes would just be the absolute bare minimum of action that would, for the first time in years, have Dave in compliance with the law. Given just how *much* of a bad guy Dave is, it's not even remotely going to fix his reputation- it's just going to keep him from defaulting on the judgement and ending up back in legal trouble. Or... more legal trouble. Doing the "right thing" when there is no other alternative except the eventual seizure of property when his Mommy finally dies and he can't hide assets anymore isn't commendable behavior.

The guy is an unreformed lying criminal. He doesn't get a cookie for being slightly less of a crooked scumbag when his back is up against the wall.
 
That is why I said the beginning, Seamus. For Dave it would be a beginning since he has never tried to go ahead and do the right thing before especially on his own.
Don't think that my words here will make any difference at all in Dave even starting on the path to making everything right that he has done wrong. I would absolutely fall off my chair if he actually TRIED to do something on his own to make good.

I just disagree with the semantics. I don't think there is any possible series of events that could lead to Dave lawson actually having a positive reputation. Some people continue to deal with him despite his negative one... but there's nothing he could possibly do that would ever "fix" what he's done to his name for the educated and ethical who won't give him a dime these days.

He could save an orphanage from being hit by a flaming school bus full of girl scouts, invent a cure for several nasty diseases and dedicate ten years of his life to working on irrigation systems to help famine stricken third world countries... and he'd still be so far below "trustworthy" that his reputation would never be repaired.

What he can do, by making good on his debts, is something far more selfish. Which is to protect his assets long term, since he can't hide them forever. In this case, the greedy thing to do just happens to coincide with the right thing to do and his best course of action happens to be the one which leaves him not paying additional damages for defaulting on the judgements people are owed. It's about the only way someone like him would ever step up and do the "right thing" but it'd be inaccurate to assume his motivation is anything other than self preservation.

Him doing it or not basically comes down to a question of how smart he is. The answer is "Not very." but some inkling of the long term situation might leave him understanding what he should do. If people have yelled it loud enough and talked slowly enough anyway. I haven't got a lot of hope that anything has sunk in, but you never know. Stranger things have happened.

For me, and I'd guess a lot of other people, the answer to that is going to be no. He could go a decade... two decades, without ripping anyone off and making good on his past misdeeds and it wouldn't be enough. He's simply unsalvageable.

He may do the right thing. he'll do it for the wrong reasons... but the end result would be that people who are owed may actually manage to collect. And that's the best possible outcome.
 
What you guys don't know, either, is that BEFORE he "rented" from Scott and Dennis, he "rented" the location MY store was in and DIDN'T PAY THE RENT OR ELECTRIC FOR FIVE MONTHS untill my old landlord KICKED HIS ASS OUTand the electric was CUT OFF!!.... Whether the landlord, also, sued him or not, I don't know, but I DO know that he NEVER PAID FOR FIVE MONTHS!! (according to my ex-landlord)....

Does anyone know if there IS any legal action I can take for defaulting on a Judgement??.... Even though everything is in his mommy's name??....

I sleep very well at night with that knowlege.... And I would be willing to take any polygraph at any time to prove it.... I am absolutely innocent of every charge that moronic PI has levelled against me.... Let's see Lawson do the same thing, that machine would burst into FLAMES!!.... You know the judgment is for $4,800.90 (plus 9% interest from December 31, 2006).

It's hard to take you so seriously when you continue to lie about who owned that store. According to the email your father sent one of you is lying about that subject. My money is on your father being the truthful one.

Given that fact, it is true that you didn't steal anything from "your" store since you didn't actually have a store to steal from. You were simply the manager of your parents' store.

Jim.... Again.... My parents own, Jandeg, Inc, which put up the money for, The Snake Pit.... but my father gave me 100% of the stock shares in The Snake Pit, so I was totally responsible for the rise or fall of that store.... Maybe in legal terms it could be determined that my father owned the store since he owns the corporation that put up the money for the store.... but as in any FAMILY business, it's all 50-50 anyway.... I never sent him one dime of profit from that store, and, after the initial startup money (and the money to rebuild after the FOURTH burglary, since everything was stolen and I had no money to replace anything) he never sent me one penny for the store either.... and he never sent me a penny after the first THREE burglaries either, I was able to use my profits to cover those, it was the FOURTH and LARGEST burgalry that basically broke me....
And till the day I die, I will continue to profess my innocence with ANY OF IT!!.... Because I AM innocent of ANY OF IT!!

You say that you know for a fact that I took your animals right? Then why did you continue to buy animals from me after each burgarly?

Why did you sell me the store?

You said that your father never sent you a dime after any of the inside jobs at your dads store, If I remember correctly either in this thread or your thread you admitted that you dad sent you checks to restock something like $12,000 to $25,000 after at least 2 of the inside jobs. Plus you had insurance for the first 3 inside jobs. So you got your family coming and going.

I didn't know Thornton from a hole in the wall except for what he told me about his daughter (if that was even true).... And I sure as hell wouldn't have given him my father's phone number because it was none of his business!!.... You're a THEIF and a LIAR.... It seems to this observer that your father's meaning was that your parents actually owned the store and you were its manager. That they never saw any profit from it is irrelevant. How you were compensated is irrelevant. Either you are lying here or your father is lying. There really is not another possibility.

As I said before, and give the other email in that report, the one from you to Rich where you proposed lying about the "thief" having been caught, but of course waiting until after the Tampa show (for obvious reasons), my money is on your father having told the truth, not you.

As far as I'm concerned you and Lawson deserve each other. That isn't to say that Lawson doesn't have to pay what the court has determined that he owes to you. He does. But you should not pretend to be all high and mighty. You are a liar and probably a thief. And the worst kind of thief, one that steals from his parents. Well perhaps stealing from one's children would be worse...
 
Jim is correct. No matter what Neil is you still owe him money. If you feel so deeply that you do not take it back to court if it is not too late, otherwise you owe him too.
