I do not have concrete proof that this individual, who has continued to badger me by email and harass me by phone about selling my animals to them, has the intention of flipping my animals. But I, and others whom I have consulted, feel the circumstantial evidence to support this is strong enough to post my experience on the BOI.
This person, screen name “gorgeousreptiles”, goes by the name Blanch McAdam, Aaron Yepet, Dan Sason, and Yepet Reptiles. He used the email address [email protected] to first contact me regarding an ad I posted on kingsnake for 2.0 Pastels and 0.1 Spider ball pythons on 8/23/2008.
Below is a record of our correspondence. I have omitted the irrelevant content from a few of the emails.

I have a female spider available for $XXX. I also have two male pastels for $XXX each. If you wanted to do a bumblebee package I could take $XX off of the total, which would then be $XXX + shipping. They are all 2008 animals meaning the female would probably be ready to breed in 2 years, 3 at the most. Either of the male pastels would be of breeding size next season (winter of 2009-2010). If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

** Please try to keep from jumping on me about falling for this. I am very new to selling animals on the internet. I had heard of scammers trying to steal pictures of expensive morphs and collect money for the animals which they don’t own, but I never thought they would bother with relatively low-value morphs like what I was selling. I know now that I was wrong to send them pictures with their names in the pictures. I have learned my lesson the hard way and will never post/email another picture of any of my animals without a watermark on it. Please keep this in mind while you read further.

I couldn't fit all of the pictures on this email so I had to send two. The three pictures in this email are of male #1. He weighs in at 78g on empty. In the last picture, the card got cut off but I felt it was the best representation of his color. He is more orange on his sides than his brother. Pastel male #2 is more yellow overall and weighs 91g on empty. They are both feeding on live hopper mice.
I prefer payment via postal money order, but also accept PayPal payments for an additional fee- $10.00 in your case. I don't like using this method because of the fee they charge to do the transaction. If you decide on purchasing these two, please read over the terms section on my website and I will email you with the info or you can call me at XXX-XXX-XXXX and we can do it over the phone.
The total for both animals, including shipping, will be $XXX if you decide to pay with postal money order. If you would prefer PayPal, the total will be $XXX.

**I started to get sick of being jerked around so I decided to google/search the BOI for “Blanch McAdam” and found nothing. Then I tried “Aaron Yepet” and found this ad on domesticsale.com
1 piebalds, albinos and more ball pythons
- Breed: various
- Ages: various
- Color: various
i have lots of ball python morphs(CB and WC) to offer at the moment, all at very good prices.
lying in my facility at the moment are albino balls, bumblebees, piebalds, pastels, spiders, clowns,
super mojave(blue eyed leucistics) and more ball morphs.
i have them available in all categories from newly hatched babies, sub adults and adults ready to start breeding.
i also have homozygous ball pythons of severals mutations.i am also expecting new hatchlings for albinos, pieds
and pastels.get to know better
Aaron Yepet (Livingston Manor, New York)
** Note his location is in NY and Blanch’s is in WA. This concerned me so I decided to ask a respected member of BP.net what they would do in this situation. She told me to back out of the deal, which I did. I tried to be polite because I thought they just didn’t have the money and were trying to drag it out until they could pay for it. I also looked up the number that showed up on my caller ID and found out that it is a foreign number. For the sake of not being charged a large sum to answer these calls, I stopped answering them.

Hi thanks for emailing to keep me informed on your next plan of action but please don't sell the animals to some one else.I have the money to pay for them plus i also tried to call your number yesterday to discuss with you in person since i called the other day and spoke to a certain male.yet again no one was there to answer.
i will have my fiancee pay for the animals as soon as possible.
cheers,
Blanch
**This was the day that he called me 8 times. I don’t have the exact times but recall there were 8 phone calls over the course of the day. Two were earlier in the day, but later he called me 6 times in a row from the foreign number . Trying to be fair and not assume the worst in this person, I sent the following email thinking that perhaps he would clear up the discrepancies over the phone.

**It was this night that I was surfing BP.net and found a link to a classified of someone who had just joined. The email was [email protected] . The add read:
2.0 pastel ball morphs $225 each,0.1 female juvenile spider ball for $350 and 13 young newly hatched 100% visual piebalds now available.Plus i have morphs still hatching new clutches for piebalds, bumblebees and albinos.
feel free to contact me in case you need anything [email protected]
**Given the nature of their frantic telephone calls, I concluded that it was because they had re-listed the animals they were going to buy from me for more money than I was charging them. I then contacted a moderator on BP.net and let them know of my situation.
On 9/16/2008 at 6:24a.m. I received the first phone call from this same foreign number. I was not happy so I pressed the ignore button. Between then and 9:21a.m. I received 10 calls from this person. I did not answer any of them. They called three more times later that day, making it a total of 13 calls. I was very sick of being harassed like this so I sent the following email:
On 9/16/08, Catie Casperson <[email protected]> wrote:
Blanch,
I will NOT be selling you the animals. Seeing as you have called me from the foreign number more than 16 times in the last two days after my request for you not to do so I will be contacting my phone provider to inform them of this harassment. You are not to contact me by phone, email, U.S. post, or in person from this date forward (September 16th, 2008). I will be printing a dated copy of this email as proof that I have informed you to stop your attempts to contact me. I will also be keeping records of all our correspondences as proof that the pictures I sent to you belong to me and that neither you nor Aaron Yepet have any affiliation with me or the animals in the pictures. Neither you nor Aaron Yepet have any right to use these pictures for your own gains nor are either of you to re-post these pictures or misrepresent these animals pictured in any way.

we are ready to pay for them as soon as possible, but i just need to work out every details accordingly...please understand.

please Catie,i really want to have your snakes.i apologise if i actually bugged you trying to reach you on the phone.like i did mention earlier, you can however include the additional call cost into the sum total.
hope to read from you again.

**Here is a copy of a message I sent to the moderator who was helping me. It contains links to places where this person posted
“Ok, so I had some spare time this afternoon and did some research. I started by googleing [email protected] and found the same ad on two sites:
VenomousReptiles.org
http://www.venomousreptiles.org/clas...s/detail/25654
And some classified site:
http://www.magickclassifieds.com/200...e__a14638.html
On the classified site he/she goes by the name of Dan Sason from New York and gives the phone number: 604-550-7000.
So i googled Dan Sason, didn't find anything. So I googled the phone number and found this:
http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-604-550-7000
Anyway, I think I'm going to change my phone number just for piece of mind. I sent him/her an email saying what you said to include and also said that I didn't give him or aaron yepet permission to use my photographs or misrepresent my animals as their own. He emailed me back and said he still wanted to buy them etc. Etc. and have them shipped to CA this time. I don't think I am going to reply. Perhaps ignoring him is the best thing.”
I am sorry to make this a novel, but I don’t want anyone to make the same mistakes that I did. If someone searches for this person on the BOI I want them to know what they may be getting themselves into. I have learned the hard way about how to protect pictures on the internet. Fortunately I did not ship my animals out to this person and had no monetary exchanges with him.

When you decide on the method of payment, please let me know. Also include when you plan on sending it/ making the transaction. Make sure that you read the "Terms" section on my website before sending payment also. Have you got a date in mind for shipping?
Thanks,

**I started to get sick of being jerked around so I decided to google/search the BOI for “Blanch McAdam” and found nothing. Then I tried “Aaron Yepet” and found this ad on domesticsale.com

I'm sorry Blanch, but I cannot hold the animals for you any longer. If you get the money together, contact me. They may still be available.

Blanch,
Please call me from a U.S. number. My phone company charges me a very high rate to answer your calls. I will be home after 7p.m. central time tonight or after 8p.m. tomorrow night.

Blanch,
I will NOT be selling you the animals.

They have not called since but have kept sending emails.

hi what is this suppose to mean?i have already told my fiancee to prepare a place for the animals, why then do you have to back off?
please if i must explain then you have to understand that i am just eager to have the animals that is why i am making sure that they don't go to any other person.i am out of the US for only 2 weeks or so but i still want to have you ship the animals to my fiancee in Fullerton,CA before my return.
we are ready to pay for them as soon as possible, but i just need to work out every details accordingly...please understand.
my regards,
Blanch
Later that day…
please Catie,i really want to have your snakes.i apologise if i actually bugged you trying to reach you on the phone.like i did mention earlier, you can however include the additional call cost into the sum total.
hope to read from you again.
cheers,
Blanch
