And my last series of questions for Kelly and/or Matt...
Is it true that David agreed to the $250 package?
Is it true that you (Kelly) immediately tried to upgrade David to the $750 package? And you were told flat out no by David and that he was either doing the $250 package or nothing at all? And that you again agreed to $250 after being told that?
Is it true that you repeatedly kept trying to get David to upgrade to the $750 even though he repeatedly told you no, that it would be the $250 package or nothing at all.
Is it true that you sent multiple PayPal money requests to David for $750 even though he repeatedly said he didnt want the $750 package? That he was only willing to do the $250 package?
Is it true that you used your 5 kids, new marriage and other personal matters to try and persuade David into the $750 package?
Sammy, to answer your question in your first series of questions - no David did not request the fliers be redone in color, but his logo did not do well in B&W, and we felt he would not get the advertising he deserved as a sponsor if we did not represent his logo correctly. I will attach a copy of the flier that went out to this message to help answer your other questions.
To answer your 2nd series.
1. No, David never agreed to the $250 package. When I told him we had levels, he asked which each one was. I mentioned the $250 package, as well as the $750 package, and gave him details on both. He then agreed to the $750 since we would have to put in some extra work as he was committed to the Tinley Park show that weekend and would not be able to attend himself. That, along with other reasons stated before was why he chose that package.
2. I never had to try to upgrade Mr. Young to any package, as that was the originally agreed upon price. There were no emails or phone calls discussing a lower ($250) package, as there was never an agreement for that amount. The rest of the questions in that can simply be answered "no" for these reasons.
3. Again, no for the same reasons as in #2.
4. NO PayPal money requests were ever sent to Mr. Young EVER, and this can easily be verified with my PayPal account. I did, however, send him emails that were posted requesting the $750, as this is what he agreed to pay in the very beginning, the very FIRST phone call, and also by saying he would send a check on 9/3. I am not sure if PayPal was ever brought into this thread, so I am not sure where that came from honestly.
5. All I can say to that is no. And my verification of that would be to ask if anyone has seen me mention these things ANYWHERE ELSE in this thread to convince them of ANYTHING? My marriage, my husband and my children are apart of my PERSONAL life, this transaction with Mr. Young was purely business. Did we discuss some personal things to try to get to know each other? Sure, I told him I had just gotten married, that we had 5 children between us, including a newborn son...he told me how he is a single parent of a daughter, and even told me that his girlfriend was moving into his apartment. But I never used my family as an "excuse" for anything...never have, never will.
Any other questions can be asked, but honestly, I am going to bed. It's late, and I'm tired. I will see you all in the morning and will gladly answer anything that needs answering.
