If you don't like the modus operandi of this forum and your only intention is the belittle this site and it's members with your posts here, I have a suggestion to make to you. Go elsewhere that is more to your liking. Quite frankly, I am getting tired of hearing people whine about this site, disrupt the theads they participate within in the BOI with the whining, and whose only intention apparently IS to whine here. These sorts of people ARE going to be shown the door. Participate and contribute to the discussions at hand and remain, or whine away where it is NOT appropriate (the Feedback forum is the place to whine, thank you), and get tossed out the door. So it's YOUR choice about whether you can remain here or not.

Alright Terry. I'll grant you the fact that "sent in" was a bad choice of words. I think everyone here (except you, of course) understands that David doesn't have that kind of power. Kathy flat out said he didn't ask her to post - hopefully he's not that brazen. Kathy stated ...

I asked if it is ok to post what we discussed, or post emails, and he said fine, do whatever I want with them. I don't want anyone to think he asked me to plead his case here. Maybe he assumed I would, maybe not. I don't know.

I am more than willing to ASSume David got exactly what he wanted. A well-respected member of the community speaking out for him. It would have all been great too, except for the little hiccup of posting third party information. When that attempt failed, David told his sob story to YET ANOTHER well respected member of this site. He again claimed Kelly kept changing the sponsorship amount and this time went so far as to say she sent multiple PayPal requests as well. Unfortunately for David, Kelly was able to quickly post screenshots of her PayPal account disproving this accusation.

The point that you keep missing over and over is that DAVID has yet to address ANY of the complaints that have been brought forward and DAVID is the person who keeps gettig pointed out as being full of hot air.

BTW I saw David at the Tampa show. I didn't talk to him but he seemed nice enough. He was very friendly and my son enjoyed getting the Repster tattoo's on his arms. (I then remembered Repster was at the Daytona show because my son got the Tattoo's there as well)

I don't think there is a single person here who would dispute the fact that David is VERY friendly and personable to talk to...both in person and over the phone.

I love the BOI, it's a valuable commodity for the community, but clearly it also has flaws--in the form of a few people who make a hobby of trolling the BOI, instead of out of reptile keeping.

Believe Kelly? Don't use Reptster. Believe David? Go ahead, then. Don't want to accept shipments sent via Reptster? You might be out of luck, unless someone tells you they did it. Maybe someone who cares enough about that will figure out a way to tell whether Reptster was used, because there's nothing on a shipping label to indicate it. I was largely ignored the first time I said this.

Is Reptster collapsing? Apparently not, there's too much doubt left in the minds of people who aren't posting here (of course they aren't--I said I had doubts, and I was attacked just for THAT). Is Kelly going to get any money from David? Nope. He said so.

What's my opinion? I don't have one anymore. I've learned my lesson about swimming with sharks, though--I got bitten, and I wasn't intending to be bait. I'll keep my hands inside the boat from now on.

Having doubt over this situation doesn't make ME a bad person, a bad businessperson, or a supporter of bad businesspeople--regardless of who would like to claim otherwise. I have no intentions of dealing with anyone unfairly.

Not having 5 hours to read hundreds of pages of repetition and bickering does not indicate I'm completely uninformed on the situation discussed in this thread, even if I may have missed other, unrelated situations that were brought up. Most of what had to be said was said in the first dozen pages, and the last few.

Unless someone would like to dispute the fact that this thread is 90% repetition and bickering, I will leave it at that. And kindly ask Mr. LY to take his snarky little trolling jabs and stuff them. I think the only one trolling has been you.

Some of us have followed this thread from the very beginning and hoped for a reasonable solution. When that solution didn't come, and we were greeted with insults and lies, we were confused, insulted, dismayed and more than a little angry (and rightly so). Then for someone to show up weeks later, proudly admit to not reading the thread and imply that just about the most honest person on the BOI is a liar, is just ridiculous. That's the very definition of trolling behavior on online forums.

I dont think I have ever seen a single person get attacked who went against the grain as long as they provided a well thought out informed and logical post. Still disagreed with? Sure, but attacked and disagreed with are two different things.

Hell I was one of the very first to start calling out Matt from MG Reptiles. The "Wolf Pack" did not want to believe Matt was a bad guy and I was flat out adamant that he was a scumbag. I provided well thought out, informed and logical reasoning for my position on the matter. The "Wolf Pack" didnt agree with me for a long time but they didnt attack me either because I presented my case in an informed and logical manner.

You come here uninformed or just plain being stupid and yes someone is going to call you out on it. Its not any different than in any other aspect of day to day life.

Stating what "someone" did, with the implication that it was me. Try speaking directly. If you are talking about me, then say so. I've seen all of Kelly's letters and evidence, and I've seen all of David's replies. The only things I haven't read is a bunch of others stuff on OTHER TOPICS alluded to being somewhere in the middle of this mess. I said absolutely NOTHING about those other topics. So what am I speaking on that I am uniformed about?

You believe I am uniformed because the trolls SAID SO. Not because of anything I said. Believe it or not, it's possible to know everything that was said by Kelly or David about THIS situation WITHOUT READING EVERY PAGE OF THIS THREAD. That's because the vast bulk of it is hot air, which is what I was initially complaining about, since it makes it hard to find Kelly or David's posts. I found this thread about a week after it had started.... and we all know that there were ALOT of posts in that time frame. (I went back and checked... this thread started on 9/16 and I made my first post on 9/23 .... there was 622 posts before mine)

HOWEVER

Since I had intended on utilizing RIPster I started from post 1 and read thru every single post so I could have an honest opinion on what was going on.... yep it took me a little while to read thru it all.... but I had a reason. I wanted to be able to make an honest assessment of the situation since I had planed on utilizing his services.

If you (whoever this pertains to) dont want to read all the posts... fine. But dont think you can make an infomred opinion becasue you have only read a hand full of the posts here. This thread would prob be about 150 posts shorter (and alot less bickering) if some didnt try to give their opinions after only reading a handfull of posts. There are several of us here that have taken the time to read all 1200+ posts. Maybe its because we had a vested interest as to how this would play out (ie.. wanting to use his service) or maybe its because we dont have anything better to do. Either way.... we took the time therefore we could give an informed opinion of the situation.

You need to look at EVERYTHING related to the parties involved in order to make and INFORMED decision.

Deborah, while 'they started it' is not generally a great defense, it seems awfully appropriate for this venue. Why did you not speak out against LY's random attack in the same manner you spoke out against my reply to it? If the moderators want to come in and tell me to take it elsewhere, I will certainly comply, but I will expect them to treat the trolls who dragged this out to begin with in EXACTLY the same fashion. I have no problem with being smacked, as long as it's fair.
