    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Ummm... I noticed the conversation from the above statement just went right into "Well Josh should have saved the day", but nobody mentioned that the actual acts he was describing was pretty f*cked up. I've had people bring in reptiles (alot of balls and sliders mostly) because they could not keep them any more due to financial problems, or moving, or what ever. The majority of them are REALLY upset to get rid of them because they're attached to the animal in some way. I assure them they will be left in good hands (as Nick would also tell them), but I would either sell the animal to a new owner, or send it a reptile rescue I work with. No kill them off in a horrible death! How would you feel if it was one of your favorite pets? What the hell is wrong with you people?

See..but before you could make the decision, you stayed for a while. What if it had gone down differently? What if the ring had been broken while you were still there?

I didn't say he should have saved the day. I just think that act animal cruelty itself is more BOI worthy of a topic than not being paid for 33 days. That would have been the first thing I brought to light, and then what was owed to me. And even if not in that order, I certainly wouldn't have waited a couple of hundred posts to mention it.

But I don't condemn the kid. Maybe that was a tough experience that he didn't want to bring up and was trying to put it behind him.

Not even the biggest wholesalers like Strictly, Emerald, LA Reptile, etc etc have a hundred customers a week. I mean come on, is he serious? Is the lie so believable that he believes it himself?
Nobody here in SFL can care less about Nick, people are calling around and saying is this guy a joke?! Right now hes pretty much the laughing stock of the biz down here, by EVERYONE, lol. People actually feel sorry for him....so sad. Thats not even from small "breeders", but from the main movers and shakers in the biz.

Nick has to live with himself. I live with me just fine. I did view the video and when he mentions about the animal abuse incident at DFR and how it was a bogus claim - you'll notice that he touches his face - rubs his head. Its not scientific, but when your hand touches your face while you are supposed to be telling the truth it can be seen as a clear indicator for telling a lie. Most people when telling a lie touch their nose, but all hand to face touching while speaking generally indicates a person can be telling a lie. I took some seminars about it while I was working for a company in human resources. Try it sometime when your in a conversation with someone.

Said I would wash my hands with this but I could not resist. Just got thru viewing the you tube, Josh tells us about. It's a step in the right direction for Nick but he is right, you can't win on this site.

Josh, I went back and reread our private email and no where did I say Nick said what you posted this morning. I clearly said I had you mistaken for someone else, and apologized for this . But you are adding fuel to the fire. Come on I am trying to get a settlement here.

Maybe Nick you stretched the point a bit of how many customers you have, but people, when I walk into his office I can attest to 10 to 50 boxes going out day in and day out, not that that is anyone's business but Nick's but since he brought it up on you tube...fair game.

Nick actually forwarded me an email this morning of a very pleased customer, that is sad she didn't buy more but will return. So he does have at least one customer, despite all the bashing.



Will sit back and see what sort of flack this brings me. Nick is right on another issue too. This site is addicting. I have enjoyed wasting my time on it.

Sigh, I was raised to believe if a person steals, he's gonna steal from me too, if he's my friend. If I have a friend that I have caught in lies, he has probably lied to me too. Now, I know no one is perfect, but personally, I don't call people my friends that I catch lying, I don't have associates in my circle that I catch or know of (second hand) as thieves (family doesn't count!). I am not stupid enough to think that a person that does these acts to someone else in some way, some how, believes that I am sacrosanct from his "devilish" acts.

I also am not stupid enough to think that just because someone has had bad business deals with quite a few people and has displayed unethical business behavior quite openly that the whole forum is against him "just because" and he can't win, because "we are all against him." I don't know Nick from Adam..but I do know that I am quite picky about who I buy my animals from, and I do know I wouldn't be purchasing anything from this Nick character based on the information here.

But before you think that the BOI is nothing but a bunch of people that have time on their hands (I am at work and multitasking)..every (almost) store or business has a feed back section on their site for their products, this feedback helps others to make decisions on whether they want that product or not.

THAT is how this information is used.

For a wholesale company to do 10-20 boxes a day is phenomenal. Especially now. I recall when things were good and I WORKED at zoological imports were he claims to have "volunteered at" that sending 10 orders out in one day was a very very good day. Sending 50 was unheard of, maybe for 2-3 weeks worth. Saying that, working there we dealt with EVERYONE in SFLORIDA and for them to do the same or more was unliklely and they did higher volume then we did!
He does not have the customers, the infrastructure etcetc to do that volume. Its that simple. Even if he sells only retail or only wholesale its IMPOSSIBLE. No way around it. Now he might be selling Your plants online and you not know it?
Or seeds? or ebay items from garage sales? But ANIMALS, no way.

Nor does he buy from ANYONE in s florida, texas, new york, or LA to do that volume.

Its as simple as a LIE that hes saying to try to make himself and his "company" seem bigger then life. A dealer down here saw the video and said that that was not only the funniest, full of BS thing he has ever seen someone do in this biz, and hes been around 15+ years, but he nailed on the head when he said "hes pure delusional" , lol

SnakeBoy, I don't know how you thought I was accusing you of doing it. I was just saying that people started giving you crap right away for not doing anything about it... but they didn't say anything about Nick actually feeding people's pets to the snappers.

I just watched Nick's YouTube rebuttal. I can't believe the irony in it. Telling us that were wasting our time on here and should be out doing things to help the reptile community. When the fact is by informing people of Nick's reputation and practices, we ARE helping the reptile hobby. We're helping it big time. Also like how he said we have too much free time and thats why we're posting on here.... when in the mean time he sets up a little video studio, commentates, and uploads his crap onto youtube. Sure sounds like he has the time on his hands, especially since it appears he made it during business hours.
"Just cause I use the N-word, doesn't mean I'm racist. Ever think of that?" This line needs to explination.
He talks about the video he made making fun of Vegas Chad's wife. All he did was talk about why he made it, never that fact that it was wrong to do. He actually was trying to justify it.
I dont know Bruce, I might have to disagree with you when you say this is a step in the right direction.
