Victor, kindly crawl your mongrel cur butt back into the putrid pool of cess you were spewed from. The ignorance you show on this Forum is almost beyond comprehension. You'd think that a person would actually have to work hard to portray himself as that ignorant. But since hard work is not something you seem familiar with, I guess you really are that unbelievably ignorant.

First, Ken didn't pay me to post for him. If anything, he's usually one of the few who will send me an email or a private message or a phone call telling me that I should calm down and be a lot more forgiving of other people.

Secondly, Ken's only mistake in this situation was to take Jessica's word that there was an issue with the tail without requesting some evidence of that. If he hadn't trusted her judgment then he would have gotten some photos of the perfectly healthy, perfectly normal tail and could have addressed the entire mess from the start with all the relevant information. Jessica certainly made some mistakes though.

Third, he did take steps to satisfy the concerns of his customer, they just weren't the ones his customer wanted. First, she tried to obtain a partial refund based on the perfectly healthy tail (making her the one who tried to perpetrate fraud), Ken declined to meet her demands. When she requested a refund based on the behavior she observed from the animal (er... allegedly observed, I don't trust her since she tried to scam him over the tail) Ken completed the refund in the manner that met his policies for buyer's remorse refunds. Then she shows up here pitching a fit and he was nice enough to not even once call her a deranged idiot, no matter how much she deserves it.

Fourth, Victor you're a criminal. You break laws. You kill animals with negligent shipping. You steal money. You harass people like an insane stalker. You're scum. You're lower than mudsnake feces. You're in no position to question anyone, much less a reputable dealer with a two decade history of quality and honesty.

Ummm, you obviously aren't very bright. I said that there were NO phone conversations besides when I paid, so I don't have any confirmations for phone conversations. Pay attention to what you read! KEN is the one who said that we talked on the phone!
The first picture CLEARLY shows a squared off tail, not smooth. I didn't mean round as in like half of a ball, I just meant smooth and neatly rounded at the very tip (very slightly, as they are mostly pointed, but the picture of the argentine does not show a pointy tail!). All of my snakes are in perfect health, so I know perfectly well how their tails should end.
Stop being so biased! You guys are reading all of this in a completely biased perspective (which includes your eyes, since you can't see how the tail ends!) and making it seem like my fault when I did absolutely nothing wrong. Read the facts! Read what option (as in 1) he gave me and how unfair it was, considering it was HIS mistake! Of COURSE I hesitated to send him back with a loss! But it only took a few days to make up my mind. I ONLY brought up his aggression because I was also told that he wasn't aggressive! If he would have taken responsibility for HIS mistake, then we could have avoided this.

Unfortunately There is always that guy that isn't quite happy about the grade of the animal and just wants"a little discount" to make things right.
That's why guys like Ken cannot do that. Send the snake back at your cost if your right then a stand up guy would refund the shipping, you chose to keep it. then after poking it with a stick it tried to bite you. So now its an angry viscious animal. so you send it back. sorry you eat it. you got the full cost of the snake back. after seeing the pics and filtering out all of vicky's rants of illiteracy. Your lucky you got a dime. Next time go to a show and buy what you want or better yet let Victor from reptiles Plus find you a nice cherry argentine hand picked personally by vic himself, by one of the 3 top importers in the world, and come back here and tell us how that worked out for you.

You are absolutely insane. The pictures that YOU posted of the argentine boa point out that the tail is perfectly fine. Come up with one person (other than Victor, that guy's insane as well as being a first rate scammer) that agrees that the tail had anything wrong with it. Just one person. So who's right? The dozens of people with a combined 100+ years of experience with potentially thousands of boas that don't see anything wrong with it? Or the girl with 5 boas for a couple years that didn't know how to deal with a nippy neonate? This isn't hard to understand.

It's downright embarrassing how you flaunt your own naivete and ignorance. Many young boas are a bit nippy, and Argentines are notorious for being one of the more temperamental subspecies. You are a seller's nightmare.

This is ironic coming from you... after illegally shipping a snake, causing it's death in transit, and then vehemently trying to screw over your customer. Some pretty smart people have responded. Even more to the point, some people who are very experienced with boas have responded. Decades of experience with large and diverse collections spanning multiple subspecies and locales. People who, believe it or not, know what they're talking about.

I'll admit to a certain bias. I don't think that bias is unwarranted though. See, you are a largely unknown quality to me and the few things you have said about yourself leave me to believe that you're a well intentioned- but not particularly experienced- keeper. On the other hand, the guy you're attacking has been in the business for twenty years, has a couple degrees floating around, is a published author in herpetological journals, personally taught me a huge chunk of the things I know about reptiles and I have witnessed his interactions with his customers firsthand. I'm predisposed towards skepticism of your position because I know what a great guy Ken actually is.

It'd take an overwhelming preponderance of evidence to make me doubt Ken's word because his word is established as being good. Further, the pictures are much better and more conclusive evidence than anything you- or your neighbor- posted about the condition of the animal.
