    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

First of all Gillian, although you HATE chris.. I would like to say keep your dirty laundry out of my threads pertaining Chris on any forums I go on. I would love the fact that you like to "follow" chris, because you're bored out of your mind... but please, stay away from my threats and your ridiculous acts. You're just a child who got ripped by him, and keep airing your laundry to everyone. Harassing chris I believe would be against BOI wouldn't it now? I can say that telling people about it is one thing, but every thread someone posts about him (good or bad) or himself posting threads on different forums doesn't give you THE RIGHT to harass and stalk someone over the internet.

So please, leave me alone with anything pertaining Chris. I only posted my thread to ask where my moss (free) was, and if he bred his ReTfs. If you have dirty laundry you need to air dry, do it else where. Quit the dang harassing!


To the OP: I am sorry you got ripped, and I'm sorry he left a bad taste in your mouth, I for one had good experiences (although I haven't bought but have known others that have) - I hope you can get past this, or get this fixed. It's also sad to use rep on someone you trusted, and losing the money in this crappy world we have today.

I know Chris has a bad temper, we've seen it on TTTF and he's been warned by Mods... so it's not a uncommon thing.

Also --- Why would anyone lie about their dad and/or brother dying? You can easily look that up in past News articles online if you don't believe.... If you have his full last name... But if he indeed made up the deaths (which honestly, I doubt he did).. thats some messed up stuff.... But hey, everyone and anyone can say stuff online... I guess that's how things work .
 
There is no proof Chris lied about the deaths of family members, but he has repeatedly lied about promising to send stuff out and even lied that he had sent stuff already. If we look at the things he's done and the way he treats people...his credibility and his character leave a lot to e desired. I believe you( Frog Style) posted a few months ago on here as a character witness for Chris, saying the he is a good guy or something to that extent. Do you still feel that way?

Christi, your ability to decipher events has puzzled me the past three days. I posted the link to help give prospective buyers an idea of what they're dealing with when dealing with Chris. Rather than complaining "your" thread went to hell because I posted the link - which was apparently irrelevant to you since you don't care about other people and only what Chris is going to send you for free - you could have thanked me. Irrelevant to your question to Chris? Should have been handled in email?? Kinda' like your questions for Chris, right? Believe it or not, I had NOT planned to do deals with Chris, but quite a few people on thefrog.org have. I posted the link to help people make an informed decision, rather than worry in retrospect what went wrong when someone as painfully stupid as Chris burnt them. Oh and contrary to what Chris said after-the-fact, I did not ask Toni to help 'gang up' on him on thefrog.org. I posted the link to thefrog.org thread here (take a look at page 46 of this thread) and she hopped over, probably to pursue Chris in his more frequently visited forum. Rather than yelling at her for being upset at Chris, you could fathom some empathy for someone who had a poor deal go down because of a sloppy/terrible businessman.

But I know exactly what you're doing. You want to get your RETF's from Chris because they're dirt cheap. Fine, go ahead, save a couple bucks, and give this dirtbag some more money so he can continue selling malnourished animals he has no idea how to care for and burning people and threatening to send biker gangs after them. If you think Chris' problem with Toni was an isolated incident, you need to do some looking around (there is another thread regarding him).

It's pretty clear you don't read the BOI/know anything about scamming people. This comes out of page two or three of the scammer's handbook? Can someone check that for me? Or is it page one...
 
Forgot to mention, Chris offered to send me a free bearded dragon. I declined because I don't want any more dealings with him. I would just be inviting more headaches. I have also read several posts where Chris promised free stuff(usually moss) and never sent it. Like I said, anyone who buys from him knowing his reputation has nobody to blame but themselves when he screws them.
 
i read what you have to say and along with what you feel and with that if you can do so ,so can i . i have belonged to the frog before i posted and if you don't like it don't go their , no one is telling you that you have to . just like you feel you have your opinion so do i . sorry you feel that you are godly and can tell someone what to do . i do not have that opinion about my self and feel you can go where ever you please , and so can i . and for hateing Chris , i do not hate him . i feel he is mentally disabled to have such a low opinion of everyone else .and treats them so badly .does the godly syndrome step in here also? hummmmmmmmm, i did not get very angry until i got email from others .i feel you need to treat others how you wish to be treated .he lashed out at me . why can't he take the same , i did not have dealings with you but if you wish to set an opinion that is fine , i am sure Chris did good by others but he has to much bad to let it slip . if he took money from you i am sure you would be upset also . what he took from me and others was not the cost of a hunk of moss this was over a hundred and for some a lot more then that. and he did not pay it back in a timely manner . it took months . so if you wish to lash out over some moss . i can even send you some free moss if you wish .

you've obviously been fortunate and not had to dealw ith a scammer scumbag theif like Chris before.

Many, many scammers have, in the past, lied about the death of a family member (and it's been proven).

Why, when he's been proven on SEVERAL occasions to be a thief and liar do you find it so hard to believe? Couple that with the fact that this is the second time he's had a family member die during a "bad" sale (read: Theft) then some people are opbviously going to question this. Add in the fact that it was probably the 20th excuses used in a long line of excuses.

Is his real last name Sulwer? Should be easy enough to check up on this 'fact'. Obviously losing a family member is always terrible, but surely you can see why some people would doubt this? Like i've said, it's far from the first time that particular lie has been used by a scammer.

Chris has shown that he has no character, no morals and no idea how to do the right thing in a business transaction, please don't take offence if people choose to take this evidence on board and then ignore your glowing character reference. I think if I were a potential customer i'd be more inlined to listen to the people he has stolen from rather than the one or two fans he has out there.


The worlds biggest scumbags will always have someone who has "fallen for it" and chooses to back them to the hilt, despite the overwhelming evidence suggesting the exact opposite.

He's been trading/dealing with reptiles for what? A few months? and already has a very, very bad reputation. That doesn't happen for no reason.

The frogs I bought from you were in good health, even though there is no way to pair them at 2 months old. You told me I was purchasing to pairs and that they were 5 months old.

As usual, just more lies. :rolleyes:

So, he might night have guarenteed they were pairs, you can see I was still mislead into believing he was selling me pairs. I should have know better than thinking he could sex 5 month old darts, but these were my first dart frogs.

Plus, they were obviously wayyy to small to be 5 months. They had to be 2 months old or less. They have doubled in size in the last couple months at least.
 
They could just have been underfed like the boas he sold (and proudly showed pictures off of). I wouldn't be hugely surprised to learn that someone who took the step up from keeping a few frogs to flipping any and every kind of reptile doesn't really know what they are doing :roll:
 
Also, those photos are obviously not of the frogs he sold me. They are "example" photos of what the frogs typically look like. He's done that in tons of ads.
 
It did strike me as rather surprising that even I, when I admittedly have little clue as to how a boa *should* look, could tell they looked quite underweight (sunken areas on the head?) and he was so happily showing them off. It makes me fear for every animal in his care.
 
I'd bet pounds to pennys, sorry Dollars to cents that he doesn't breed half the stuff he claims he does. I'd be interested to see how a stool sample from these "CB" frogs looks.

I'm no amphibian expert (we do mainly boids but have kept frogs and salamanders) but i'm lead to beleive species like Red yees aren't the easiest for the beginner, or relative begginer to produce in captivity. Maybe it's easier over there with your climate who knows. I also know how easly available and how cheap (at wholesale) WC baby RETFs (and similar) are. He seems to have access to an awful lot of CB frogs, i'd love to see references from the breeders producing them if it's not him and/or picture sof his setups and frogs breeding.

you do get the sinking suspicion that not all of this stuff really is CBB, which would be a shame.

Soon find out though if he's selling WC RETFs to just anyone, they can have quite a high mortality rate as WC juvies.
 
it is a sad fact that a lot of quote great reptile breeders are actually not . i deal a lot with a warehouse and they get most of their reptiles from Florida wild caught . and thats where he is . so their you go . and a lot will show you pictures or relay talk up their animals to sell them .and not actually get what you saw , i have also learned that the hard way .their are some great ones out their , but I'm afraid to Fue to even mention.
 
You're very right.

After all why use example pictures instead of pictures of the actual animals offered if you're selling top notch CB animals. the fact he's been caught out also misrepresenting the age of animals also indicates again either a need to lie/exaggerate OR highlights the fact he can't be sure of their age (because they are neither bred by him OR actually CB animals).

We sell surplus stock we've bred ourselves, accordingly we've never misrepresented an animals age, health, feeding status or had to use any picture other than of the actual animal for sale.


I've used example pictures once, of tiny hatchling axolotls (bred here!) but thats purely because there were 100's of them and they all look the same at tadpole size :) But it was still an example picture of one of the actual animals for sale that was bred here, it just so happened all the albino ones looked alike and all the wild type looked the same, no point taking 200 seperate picture of each tadpole.
 
thats all good if you are sending out exactly or very close to what is paid for . i understand with dealing with several at times it is easier to do so . but sending out younger then was stated or underfed . or way smaller then what you show is not acceptable . i bought dragons they were beautiful in the picture, but not the dragon i got nor from the same group . it was said be happy they are cheep . that is not the point it is that i was mislead . i was told i was getting 4 inch dragons but i believed that i was getting when i payed for them what i saw in the picture with the price marked under it. Then someone else commented and was told the picture was much older dragons , one did pretty up but it is not what i was led to believe what i was getting .not that i am unhappy with what i got . they will in time look a lot nicer , but then again .

Red Eyeds are one of the easiest to reproduce of all frogs in captivity. Florida climate of course helps. However, Chris has already admitted in the thefrog.org link I posted a couple pages ago thatthey were in fact not bred by him.
