In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Just wanna let ppl know he uses a nice snake pictures for bait advertisement.
He advertised a Enchi and said it was the last one. I made a deal to buy that Enchi and sent him money. After I sent payement he said that Enchi in the ad was sold and he was sending me another one.. I didn't want to pay paypal fees back and worth with the payment so I said ok to take another Enchi.. But thought again, if the one in the ad was the last one then why am I getting another Enchi but isn't the one in the ad?? But it's ok. I don't wanna waste money sending back my payment.
So I accepted another Enchi anyway. OK! Everything all good!!

BUT then! still till today the same ad, same snake is on KS with newer post date.
I know what's up. Aint gonna get me again home boy Siegel.

First off, I think I speak for everyone when I say please provide us with all the e-mail communication that transpired between you and Ben. This will give us a better concept of the situation at hand.

Here ya go, you said it yourself, you didn't want to bother with the hassle of the transactions that get your money back. Being that Ben lives/breeds his animals around my general area I have a good idea of his reputation...If you were certain you wanted your money back, i'm sure Ben would have been more than willing to accomadate you.

What is the purpose of this thread? From what you posted, Ben is under the impression that you are okay with the outcome of this transaction. Has he even been made aware of this thread?

Just as an aside, there are no fees taken out when a refund is sent via PayPal. They are taken out of the initial payment to the recipient; but when that person clicks to refund, (PayPal refunds their fee, and) the full amount goes back to the sender.

I've purchased a number of animals from Ben, and always received the one pictured. Has he been contacted about this thead, or even told you were unhappy?

Yeah I bought the snake and everything is fine. Im not worried about that at all dude. It was all good.

The purpose of this thread? Is to help careless and easy trusting ppl like me to watch out for false advertisements. Is he aware of this thread? This is public right? You wanna go bring him here to make sure he's aware? :yesnod:
There are good deals, ok deals, to bad deals.. Im sharing my experience with others. So he's got a long time rep huh? Does that mean he's perfect? He's cool and all but I don't like that ad.

Thanks. I didn't know that's how refund goes. I thought it would get fee 2 times.

Im just thought it's funny with the ad still being there and sharing what I think about it.

Don't anybody try to step when I share my experience to help you!! You ungrateful :ack2:

Harald emailed me letting me know of this thread. Figured I would just post up the facts real fast. We had 4 enchis from Matt at ghi--This person inquired about getting an enchi. I was asking $450 ea for them--he offered $400 delivered. This was probably a month or more ago. He was informed that the animal pictured was not available and he asked for more pictures. He was told that if he wanted to wait a few days he would get pictures of the actual animal. He did not want to wait. I wrote this order up myself and completely forgot to bring it in to ship and missed the same day shipping. I apologized profusely and told him I would ship the following day which was fine with him. When I packed his order, without telling him or being asked, I took one of my OWN 08 holdback fancy females and shipped it to him with the male free of charge as I felt bad for shipping him a day late. I figured it would be a good girl to breed to his enchi male. I have never had any intention of misleading customers with pictures in ads. Sometimes ads are just reposted as they are similar items or clutchmates, and the ad clearly states 4 available and there is only pics of one of them. Aside from all that, they are baby enchis---they dont even start to look really nice until 300 or 400 grams. This person never expressed one inkling of being unhappy with his order, and if I remember correctly even emailed me thanking me. Real nice customer.

Let's get this straight. You call yourself "careless," but you "care" enough to come on a public forum to warn people about false advertisements?

not you

Excuse me?

Im sorry. Im saying anyone who wants to oppose me like Im doing something wrong... Not you.
:iagree:

Ben emailed me saying that Im lying about him online. And that I knew what I was getting.. I knew and Im fine!! Im not lying. For what? I have nothing to gain out of it.. But Im sharing what I know. I know that the ad is advertising a snake that isn't there nor for sale! If it's there, I should have it and it shouldn't be advertised for sale.

Not saying he's a bad guy. He big time reptile man but that Enchi ad ain't right.

Just my info

Of course I gotta thank you for the snake. I was fine with everything until I see the same ad with a new date.. Don't wanna detail the deal we made because that's not really what it's about. Im fine with that!!

Your ad is false mr Siegel. Im just being honest that I find that misleading. Why don't you take that ad off and put the pictures of the actual snakes? Or last snake?

I am not going to get in a big debate with a ton of posts--this will be my last. That is the same ad that I put up a month before you bought yours, and the same ad that has been up a month since you bought yours--it just gets reposted. I do not have any reason to trick or fool my customers. I do not have enough hours in the day to put up individual pictures for every single animal we have--it would be absolutely impossible. It even states in the ad, that 4 are available, but it is obvious that there is only one pictured on the ad. My ad is not false--and you know good and well, you were told that was not the same animal, and you were offered pics of the actual animal which you declined as you could not wait. If you were unhappy with that, you would have been refunded, so how in the world is that misleading or false? I find it amazing that you are putting a bad guy post about me when nothing about our transaction, even by you own admission, would qualify me as a bad guy--how come you did not get on here a month ago and say---Ben Siegel --good guy--sent a nice snake and when he was a day late he sent me a free fancy female holdback ?

It's how we look out and help protect each other.

Remember, prefix says info. Not bad guy. He and I did a trade that we agreed on.

Don't want no drama. Just sharing thoughts and experience.. Calm down Siegel fans.

Not about our transaction! The ad!

Thank you for the normal female. I do appreciate your thought. I just did not want to give you hassle for being nice. But that surprise female only got in my way and I got rid of her to get some feeders. But that was cool for someone that wanted a normal baby.

Again. It's not about what we traded but about the same misleading ad that's still there!! You ok mr Siegel.. I didn't say you were a scum that take money and run or anything that bad like some others. lol

That is terrific customer service, just top of the line.

I'm thinking if the ad said there were 4 snakes, and there was one picture, perhaps the customer thought the one picture was the last one left? I don't know, but it seems you clarified any possible question if you told your customer you could get pictures of the actual animal. So THIS customer could not have been mislead about his own sale if an offer was made to sent an actual photo.

As to reposting the same ad later, is it standard in the industry? I would think baby snakes are very similar, are they? Certainly if one posted an ad for an adult snake with unique markings, one would probably not want to post that same ad in the future after the snake was sold. But what about babies, are they fungible?

Wow dude... you got a FREE snake WITH your purchase!? And you have the nerve to make a badguy post when you were WELL AWARE? HA!

The BUYER is responsible for asking for pictures of an animal they are purchasing!

Cool, then you will not mind a link to where you are being discussed.
About an ad not a actual transaction. Much like here.

If you read the ad, It was for a group of four to begin with. It seems it was updated to state just one left. A simple inquiry about getting a refund before shipping could have eased any concerns about the paypal question that you may have had.

You found out ahead that the one pictured wasn't the one left. You agreed to still buy. You received your order with an extra animal.

As you state, no problems with the actual transaction. Just that you don't like his ad, that you purchased from. If you think that is fair way to target someone that communicated with you throughout the transaction, delivered what was agreed upon, sent a extra animal, and apparently you were happy with the enchi you received, then I think your a little confused to what constitutes a warning to others in the community.

If were going to target peoples ads, I would put yours closer to the top of that list.
