Actually I'm quite surprised at how much activity this thread has gotten. I thought for certain that Chuck would post this poll and it would get maybe three votes and that would be it. Kind of start off real slow then fizzle out altogether. Go figure.....

I sort of thought the same at first myself but I felt confident that some of the folks here would want something more than just bonding over the interest of reptiles. Many strong friendships have formed here, love interests even. I think its fantastic to foster people even closer together using any means, and truly that's my motivating factor. I think a lot of people recognize this is what I'm trying to accomplish. If it doesn't work out then that's fine, it wont slow me down. I think if we all chip in our ideas were bound to find something that we all can be proud of.

I'm just sorry that I'm grasping this team concept so late in the game. I know I've changed a lot of peoples opinions of this site and its cost you great grief and probably some money too. I liked the laughs I got, and I still want them, but not at your expense. I want to see what I can do to change things around. I can apologize to you all day long, but actions speak louder than words.

I love to cook. My best friend back in Seattle is an executive chef. I discovered my love for cooking from him. We used to throw some serious parties with some superior grub. People came as much for the food as they did the booze and..... well, other party favors.

Over the 20 years since then I have became a very good cook. My specialties are Breakfast (my sausage gravy should be a food group!), Italian, Shellfish, Real Mexican, Chili and anything cow. Oh and chicken livers. My chicken livers are to die for.

Well, quite honestly, I thought all the rumors about people being taken over by aliens was just bunk...... But this quote here is about as concrete evidence as anyone could ever expect to see.

Seriously Chuck, thanks for turning the corner and now HELPING me (and us all) with this site, rather than giving me reasons to just throw my hands up in disgust and think seriously about pulling the plug and walking away. I really do wish that others had made this connection before it was too late for them.

Oh that movie scared the crap out of me when I was a kid. To do this day, I have not eaten graham crackers since watching it, not even if they are covered in chocolate or as crumbles on the bottom of a pie.

Well, I guess everyone has their 'soft' spots (or should I say human? pick whichever is least offensive...)--I'm glad yours is cooking. This should be interesting. I particularly like the idea of recipes for the critters; nice spin.
I take it that until you & Brandi get a room, there will be an 'R' rated thread in that section?

Haha! I'm sorry to throw it all at you guys at once like this, perhaps I should have considered an acclimation period for y'all to adjust. But it hit me sort of suddenly too. I just don't have that kind of fight in me anymore. It feels good to just let it go.

Brandi is a really funny lady and I think she would be a big draw in that forum. I don't know about "R" rated, but yeah, Parental Guidance probably should be suggested. I think there will be some really good joking around in there between her and I, between us all, if the forum does actually get off the ground.

I think it's a fantastic idea. Would love to share a few doggie treat recipe's. I love to cook and have mounds of dishes passed down from mother to daughter for many years.
