In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I need some good shrimp recipes please. My son is stuck at college because he has finals and his birthday is tomorrow, I want to fix him a big batch of shrimp when he visits next week.

I'm not a fish guy but I remember Ed saying he has some great original recipes for seafood.

Thanks. I guess I'll wait until the forum opens and start a shrimp thread.

If there was a way to exempt it from the new posts search I say why not. Make it a subscribed forum like hell and while you are at it put the lonely hearts forum there as well. With the new posts search limited to 200 posts if you don't check it at least once a day you will miss some. I don't think we need Home Economics forum to add more posts on a REPTILE site.

Yes!!!!! Thank you thank you thank you! You will not regret this.

OK, Chuck. How about whipping up a forum title and tasty forum description for me. I'm planning on putting this forum in the General Interest section, probably right below the General BS Forum.

Sorry, I can't see where it is worth that amount of work to implement just because someone may have no interest in it. And in case you haven't noticed, this isn't JUST a REPTILE site. It's really whatever the members want it to be.

Simple easy and delicious lemon garlic shrimp.

Melt some butter in a skillet on medium heat, while the butter is melting take a razor blade and slice some fresh garlic almost paper thin. Put the garlic slices in the hot butter and it will instantly liquefy the garlic. Add shrimp and saute until shrimp are done (cooking time will vary based on size of shrimp, but usually 3-5 minutes). Remove shrimp from skillet and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the shrimp. Serve immediately.

Add some pasta to that (linguine) and maybe some green beans with lemon, Shrap, and we got a date. btw, that girl of yours has the stinkiest poos EVER. What did you do to her???

For a title...

Fauna's Kitchen.

For a description...

Whats Cooking: A cooking forum designed for fauna members to share recipes and other culinary delights with each other. Bon Appetit!

If anyone has any other suggestions please feel free to add.

Title: Chuck's House of Dysentery

Sammy the garlic shrimp sounds wonderful. Maybe French bread.

Chuck, congrats on your new forum, whatever the name.

Thank you for the personalization using my name for the forum, but this is for all of us.

Sammy, that was cold. May your cakes always fall and your souffle's always come out like soup. :(

If the the new Chuck dont have a sense of humor then I want the old one back. :yesnod:

From the way this thread was going, I thought for certain the forum name would be "Hell's Kitchen"........

I think Hell's Kitchen would definitely be the way to go. Might be best to make it a subscribed thread too. With all the food/sexual innuendo going on, might be safer that way. lol

Wish I could change my vote now. Seeing just these couple of recipes already has my mouth watering... Could be because I'm hungry right now though. Not sure. But hell, if it means I can pass on some stuff to my wife and not have to eat Ragu 2 nights a week, baked chicken one night a week, and hot dogs the rest of the week... I'm in!!
