    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hell's Kitchen sounds great to me.

Also, you can delete your vote and vote over again. At least the option to do that is there for me. It should appear as a link at the bottom of the poll.

I chose a more innocent sounding name than "Hell's Kitchen", however. I feared that people may think it was an offshoot of the HELL forum, and believe the lack of restraints and moderation in the HELL forum would apply in this new forum as well. Which is not the case.

Bear in mind, please, that if that forum falls into a state of neglect and no new posts are made for a couple of months, it will be deleted. A conditional "use it or lose it" applies in this case.

Now I'm thinking this place needs a sports section! I hear Randy and Chris in chat all the time going over draft picks, stats, etc. I'm more into the UFC thing, but I could definitely see a bit of action in a sports forum. Maybe call it The Sports Page or something. :)

You will do whatever you want so why did you even bother putting up the poll? I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way. I expected the yes posts to outnumber the no posts because a lot of the people who would probably vote no realize there is no point to voting anyway. I still think this is a good site and it is worth my time to keep checking every day but with every new irrelevant (to me) forum that is added it looses some appeal.

As long as we are asking though. Can we start a forum for sports card collecting?

He didn't, I did. I had to prove via a poll that there would be enough interest in the forum to make it worth his while to setup. Apparently I achieved that...without your support...champ. Perhaps I know what most people like and you do not.

With all due respect, I've not really seen many instances on this site where Rich has done whatever he's wanted to do. He has always involved the membership and staff to get their opinions on site matters.

Gee, I'm really sorry, but I didn't build this site just to please YOU. It probably aggravates you to no end as well that God didn't build the universe around your wishes. And yeah, everyone on the poll who voted against YOUR wishes also secretly agree with you but decided to waste their time and vote the opposite way anyway. :rofl:

Why not just go start some fun threads in the reptile forums then? If there is stuff you dont like, find something YOU can do about it to MAKE it better. Cant rely on all of the other people to do it for you.

I try to post pics and have fun, and talk about snakes here as much as i can. But hey, Other people have other interests besides JUST reptiles ( who would have thought? some of us are obsessed with the animals we keep!)

It aint fun if theres no variety.
