    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

He inquired about a female beauty snake I had for sale. He bought the snake and is not happy. He said the snake had a very nose bad rubbed nose from the past and a kinked/ dead tail. Well I know the snake didn't have either. People at the KY Reptile show seen this snake.. I told him I wanted to see pictures and if that is the case I will refund his money.

Well it has changed since then. I don't think I am refunding his money. I don't even want to give this guy my address to ship the snake to me. Check out a few of his emails.. You can determine for yourself.

Again people did see the snake and I am sure they will post here. David Beard is one of them. I would have been happy to refund his money until the threats started pouring in.

I saw the snake in question at a recent local reptile show and I can say the snake looked 100% healthy and in great shape to me. I have done lots of business with Chris & Peggy Applegate and they are stand up people.

You have been "Sloaned" in certain areas of the country it is referred to as being "Duckworthed". You are not truly anyone in the industry unless you have received at least one of those Emails.

Do a search on Sloan, Alterna ranch and Duckworth. You will find a plethora of threads that all pretty much have the same flavor. I am amazed you have not read at least a couple of the threads since your 2005 join date
 
I have been talking to Harald. I found out who Bob was after I accepted the paypal. He emailed said he would take the snake and is sending the payment. It was quick and easy. Then I looked him up on the BOI.. I missed all the drama with him. I wouldn't have took the payment if I knew who he was..
 
I would be as surprised as anybody if he shows up at the San Antonio show, I am sure that there are many people at that show he has been in the middle of bad dealings with. In fact I would be shocked if he was allowed to enter the show by the organizers, I have no doubt that they would show him the door as soon as he showed up.
 
I thought Sloan moved up north. Is he back in Texas or did he not move? I make it my personal agenda to not be Sloaned or Duckworthed. I highly ( read about as likely as hell freezing over ) that Sloan has the nads to walk into a courtroom much less a show where a good many vendors and likely visitors as well would beat the tar out of him and drag him around the parking lot behind a truck.

You aren't the first, won't be the last. Another member got basically the same threats awhile back and hasn't seen any of them carried out as far as I know.

#1, I don't think that guy is in any condition to beat anyone up. Maybe if their walker was broken, he'd have something of a chance, however. (Rich, make sure your walker is in good shape!)

#2, he has no recourse. He can start a bad guy threa - oh, right, even if he could, everyone would laugh at him.

I've been googling sloan's name. There seems to be two other sloans in Del Rio, but no Robert or Bob. I did some looking in MN and only one shows up, but it isn't clear if or how he's tied to the ones in Del Rio. I'm betting he has family in Del Rio and the ages of the two there that I found suggest that it may be his son/daughter and their wife/husband.
 
I have never been bothered by Sloany Balogny, but I LOATHE and DETEST this moron!
I seriously hope i ever catch him at any show I vend. He'll be wondering where the taste in his mouth vacationed off to...
I'll be sure to mail each and every one of you that he has threatened a picture of him racing around gathering up his teeth as a souvenier.

I am the Promoter of the San Antonio Show, and I would be glad to show Bob around the show. There are many people who would like to visit with him:reddevil:

I'll send out an email blast to my vendors to let them know Mr. Sloan plans on gracing the show with his presence.
