    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

It would of been Hijack of your ISP (internet service provider) Which while it will still show your IP it is highly Improbable that you BOTH frequent same forums, or have similar interest....In order to Hijack an ISP/IP you would have to have a lot of computer knowledge, and most computer nerds aren't snake nerds...not saying were not out there, but highly improbable
 
My my my. What blows my mind is that this thread has now reached 17 pages and it's still in the same place it was on page 1. OP still isn't 'getting it' and is just getting even more defensive. What a shame.
 
I also agree to the deleting of this ridiculous thread. I have done nothing wrong to this man, him creating a new name to make himself look better was enough for me. I am convinced that he deleted the email I sent explaining my intentions clearly. I feel this thread is inappropriate and that I have been accused with false information.

Again, I do admit that I may have made some mistakes (shipping to soon after feeding, and shipping 2nd day air). But like I said that was my first time shipping a reptile and I will not be shipping ever again. Truth is it was never my intention to in any way take advantage or screw Lloyd over. To my knowledge he received the email stating my intentions and told me to continue shipping only one snake and refund the money for the second snake that I was not shipping. I feel that was the fairest possible way to go about the transaction. He got what he paid for, no harm was done in terms of money or goods. So please do us all a favor and delete this ridiculous thread.
 
Unfortunately for the two of you, this thread is here for good. There is no deleting of BOI threads.

And yes ... feeding before shipping is a bad thing. A live animal going 2nd day air is not even thinkable. Making promises you can't keep is always a no-no.
Being a novice is not an excuse for anything. Shipping is not difficult. There's this handy, dandy thing called the internet. Use it to your benefit; it's a great learning tool.

The OP was wrong in starting this Bad Guy thread, (I won't even go into the multiple accounts, ludicrous postings) but if you, Danny, take the time to learn from minor mistakes they won't turn into huge ones and you will do well in the future. :)

E-mails are usually accompanied by headers and what you posted looks more like they may have been pm's. Were they e-mails or pm's? I'm asking because if they were pm's a mod may be able to verify if it was in fact sent.

I'm in agreement with many who said that both parties here have some learning to do.

Sorry, but no, I think there is a simpler solution to this problem. Quite simply, why don't you and your wife simply SWITCH the accounts you are using so your profile names will match who is really USING the account? Or is there some insurmountable problem involved with doing that simple fix?

Some? I'd have to say a lot. The OP in my opinion has a lot more to learn then the seller.

Nonetheless, I would not deal with either individual. The seller for his obvious lack of knowledge of shipping techniques and what seems like backing out of an agreed sale without informing the buyer.

I wouldn't sell the OP a pet rock for fear it would outsmart him and escape. :NoNo:

Yeah, someone went through ALL the trouble (and trust me that would be very difficult to do) to intercept your IP address and fake an account here just to post in your defense.

Now all you have done is given everyone a lot of doubt that it is also really your wife posting on your other account. My guess is that this is all just YOU involved. You probably didn't realize that two computers using the same ISP utilizing static IP addresses will still have the same IP address assigned to each post.
