    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Rich and I are completely separate people. Does he know me? Sure. Does he come over sometimes? Sure. You are the one giving black eyes by demonizing other hobbyists and for what? Posting animals? Gee.....pretty sad that the Salem witch hunts are alive and well in 2009. You must have a KS account to be kissing that much rear end. I see quite a few people who post on here and on KS who don't speak out because of their fear they will be banned from KS. All your doing is empowering KS to be become the biggest "Pepsi" cola company out there without ever having a "Coke". Understand the metaphor?.

I'll sum things up by saying.......

I really don't have much to sell these days. I'm very excited about my own breeding projects and sold Rich some odds and ends I had. Between family and work, I have very little time to sit in front of the computer all day. I didn't tell Rich yes or no about getting a KS account. I just encouraged him to have fun with the hobby. None of us are doing anything extra special here. Shouldn't we just have fun with this hobby or is everyone looking to "Ban" someone? Let's put our energy in making sure new people(Like Rich) enjoy their animals and continue to keep them. Not push them away for something VERY petty. Ok, I'm off my soap box now.....

And that has done what exactly to actually hurt his business? Nothing. Its a consequence that keeps things running smoothly on his site for the most part. A quick and effective way to deal with destructive behavior.

Jeff had you pegged for a numbnuts. I honestly cant say he was wrong after what I've seen you do here.
 
Barry, excellent sentiment.We are not talking about crimes, but honesty and and good will go a long way. I hope everyone can move on with a renewed since of honor and good will. We are all lovers of reptiles. Good luck!

Chuck is it? Chuck......Yes, Jeff does run a nice site, I won't disagree, BUT there are more people out there than you know of who were banned for something soo stupid it's laughable. I know guys who had a professional photographer take pics of their animals, was given those pics to use, and when they used them on KS, they deleted the ad even though it was their own animal but it wasn't the photo the seller took. Make sense? It appears there may be more Jeff followers over here than on his own site!..ha ha!! My only other point is that if you start a "pay site" the rules need to be the same for EVERYONE. Because on KS the rules appear to be custom tailored according to your relationship with Jeff.

Actually, you are sort of responsible for the reactions occurring in this thread.

It wasn't me who allowed his friend, who lives so close by, and who has his own computer, to sit down at my computer to create an account that would lead people to think it was actually me looking to stir things up about KS because I still couldnt get over the fact that KS banned me.

I wasn't sure of your name.(Bill or Chuck) since I'm trying to follow the BOI's rules of using my full name after each post. I didn't know yours and guess you didn't see that one rule. I never said Rich and I were "good friends" Chuck. He and I are "friendly" and I'm just sharing my hobby like people did with me years ago. As for a driver's license, I'm not going to even entertain that for my own privacy and security reasons. If Rich wants to, I'll ask him if he wants to do that, but that shouldn't be any admission of guilt if he doesn't because your looking to crucify someone over something like this. You want honesty? Come to San Diego and I'll buy you, me, and Rich the beers and we can all sit down together if your really wanting this to go any further. It's truly a waste of time and energy to entertain this anymore just because you want to obviously be amused. Best wishes Chuck.

What I find so funny is that all this drama is over someone posting animals for sale!! Who cares!! If it were about a scam or someone getting screwed, I'd do what I'd have to, to make things right or clear the air, but I'm not going to put up my private info to satisfy your cravings for drama. Want my SS# also? Why don't you put more effort into something more meaningful?.....

I'm not ready to get out the torches and pitch forks just yet. Barry's explanation is plausible to me until it fails to prove out.
I'm willing to allow that opportunity, which I think isn't too much to ask really.

I have done business with barry years ago, involving some star tortoises. I had no complaints then and I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt now based on my experience with him.
