In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Beware of Zach ashwood ( bad news )

Anorexia isn't that simple. Disregarding the human implications, it still involves an inability to maintain a healthy body weight (it can happen with reptiles that eat, too). Generally, by the time the term anorexia is used, the snake is emaciated. The physiologic processes result in changes that do make less likely that the animal will eat...or, if they do, that they will regurgitate or suffer other ill effects (in fact, it can trigger a further downward spiral that ends in death)

A rescue near me took in a batch of snakes, all of which were labeled anorexic. They were all treated terribly and you could even say abused. They had no desire to eat, they even regurgitated after the rare times they ate. Despite that they were all examined and were deemed healthy otherwise.

Would diagnosing "anorexia" in a reptile be the equivalent of "cachexia" in a human...?

OP, maybe you should post here for all to see why you won't be posting the necropsy results. I'd rather not copy and paste the PM if you can do it yourself.

I didnt Post the necropsy results becouse I made a deal with Mr Ashwood , that if he payed me back i would not do anything to further soil his reputation ... He asked me to keep the info between ourselfs and let this thing die in the water ...Im keeping my word to zach . if anybody wants to see a copy of the results I would be happy to send them top you in private .. This experience wasnt a good one for me it cost me allot of time money and pain !!! Zach payed me back and i agreed to keep it between us ..what he does from there is on him !! I kept my word to him !!!

Actually, if you shared the necropsy results with anyone else, you did not keep your word.:shrug01: But I wouldn't worry over much about that.

Other than that..anyone that did receive a copy of the results is under no "complusion" to honor your agreement.

Hopefully, someone will post those results.

I hope so as well. Those of us with animals that came from this guy's collection would kinda like to know if it's something contagious, or something we need to be on top of in case it pops up for us.

The only way I can figure that the results would damage anyone's reputation further would be if there were something even more incriminating in there than shipping out a sick snake. Something contagious perhaps, and dangerous for other animals from that collection.

Just seems a bit too convenient to me, and in my eyes, puts them both on equal footing. The seller for shipping sick animals, and the buyer for refusing to share info that should be shared with those who have animals that shared the same space with this one that was obviously ill and ultimately passed on. Were it me, I'd feel it a duty to share that information.

Zach making an agreement for the necropsy results to NOT be posted but then coming on here himself and basically stating everything that was on the results doesn't make a single bit of sense. But I don't know, maybe it's just me.

I agree. If that report has information in it that "further damages" the reputation of the seller than is information that other buyers need as well.
What the OP is doing now is partnering with the seller to hide information apparently.
So, that means you didn't post here so much to warn others as to blackmail the seller into reimbursing? Nice....
While I believe it is great you got your money back I think it stinks that you are willing to hide info in order to do that. That is trading ethics for cash, and that is what scammers do

if there was any danger to anybody that bought from zach in the past i would have warned people of possibility of contamination damn im just trying to keep my end of the bargain I didnt blackmail him to pay me back he asked that i keep the results between us beleive me i was happy as sh&$ to get my money back yes !! but im not the bad guy I will scan the report and post it to make everybody happy since zach went and posted i guess its ok and im sure for doing that ill still be blamed for something so why not ?? report will be posted asap thanks

If such an agreement was made between the OP and the seller, it SOUNDS like it was a panic move on the part of the seller - offering compensation to silence what MIGHT be damaging to him.
Since the seller himself came on to discuss the necropsy findings, he violated that agreement. Interesting that he chose to pick up where he left off, by attempting to discredit the comments of the seller and the vet. As far as I'm concerned, IF the report shows nothing significantly different than what Zach said here, Michael is under no obligation to post it. However, I did tell Michael privately that if there were evidence of issues that could cause problems for others, it could be argued that there was a moral obligation to divulge that information.....I also stated that if there was no such evidence, it would be appropriate to divulge that as well, as such claims can have a long lasting impact.

Michael,
I'm sorry you felt your back was against the wall, BUT...that necropsy did not cause further damage to Zach's reputation. Posting it did, however, remove a cloud of apprehension, and I'm sure many people are appreciative.
Zach has nothing to complain about, especially since he posted about the results first. It IS a shame that he didn't willingly provide a refund or replace the animal though...and, no, given everything that took place, his ultimate decision to issue the refund cannot be considered willing (IMO).

Guys there was no scheming between Mike and myself. The snake died, therefore I refunded his money...simple as that. And there were no parasites, desease, or anything else like that. And like I said before I did not ship a snake I thought was sick. Yes he was wrinkled but again like I said a million times, when he was put in the box he had the look of needing to shed. I don't know exactly what he looked like when he arrived, I wasn't there. But none of that really matters now does it? You guys will always find some reason to argue and express your opinions. The matter has been settled and there is no contagious anything going on and yet you guys still badger. Just let it go. It's through.

harald at no point have I ever felt that you where attacking me ,, You are always a great help and an assset to this community . your opinion is apreciated thanks for all your help !!! And once again I cant thank all The people that supported me and where willing to help and gave me advice on this issue !!! especialy the person who offered to help pay the vet bills That was awsome !!!!! thanks again everybody Have a safe happy holiday and a great new year !!!

Thank you Michael. That takes a huge weight off my shoulders, and I bet it does for others as well.
