    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

You might want to PM Rich though about the IP address thing though. That I can't answer for you....:shrug01:

If this were being used as a verification of identity control for access to the BOI, then yes, it could make a difference, depending on how strict I wanted that to be. But as it is now, no, this is strictly a membership upgrade trying to give me a show of hands as to how many people here really want the BOI to continue.

There is another post before this one giving you the PayPal email address to use. Just let me know the member name in the notes section of that donation.

You can also support the BOI forum directly with banner space. I think it's $7-8 per month. Several have already gone that route. :thumbsup:
 
Just bought my coins! I'm sure the BOI has saved me at least $25 in the past. I know a couple of times i saw a sweet deal in the classifieds only to find bad guy threads a mile long on the seller before i responded! I just hope the BOI stays here to help me in the future! I'm noticed all the new modifications in the BOI i hope this is a sign that more people are contributing and it might be sticking around?!?! either way i couldn't let the new year roll around and not have tried to help by contributing myself! so bump back up to the top in hopes of somebody else being motivated to buy their coins! so who's next?
 
Just figured I would toss this out there; for Contributing Members that would like to give a little more, but don't want to jump to the $100 level...
There is a way to contribute funds specifically earmarked as BOI support (noncontributing members take note, this method will not gain you the perks of paid membership). The donation button has been moved to the ad section on the right side of the mainpage, and is essentially unlabeled/unexplained now...but here's a link to the payment page

We don't know yet. But the valiant efforts of everyone who contributed especially right at the holiday when most people have empty pockets, are deserving of thanks. :)
 
im dead broke right now but as soon as i sell a couple babies ill donate but 25$ isnt pocket change when you own a zoo and have two young kids and just been laid off :(

that would be nice but im one to earn my keep and i know we need the BOI more than people think. So as soon as get some extra cash ill get my coins ;)
