In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Dragon Vision Probs

lol Thats exactly why i said " i dont wana bring names into this" I didnt think anything was going to go this far. as for that fact i didnt think is was this big of a problem i just thought mabe it was a vision prob and was asking for help not asking people to start atacking anthony so please people dont hink to badly of him he may not be aware of it being somthing so bad mabe he never took it to a vet mabe he sold it instead which is just wrong but hey my loss my lesson.
Again what can i do to make this dragons live eaysier besides vet that is last thing as im just to broke atm.

Yea Matt you should of stayed on his A%$ about that animal. i would have wanted the trade back. it sounds to me that he couldnt get it to eat, seen it was getting worse and passed it off on you. Contact should have never stopped. There should of been some kind of resolution...

id say he was a lil bit bigger if not exactly the same and i remember these pics were taken just after i contacted him and he said not to worry he wouldnt eat for a few months as he just went down for burmation. which WAS stated in the ad before i bought him, however i contacted him mabe less than 2 weeks after purchase and asked if the dragon was blind and asked if he used florescent uvb 10.0 bulbs which i have read to cause blindness due to being to bright. He stated that he Did use them but never herd of blindness due to bulbs and then we just stoped contact.

the reptisun10.0 does not cause blindness in dragons. you may be thinking of the problems a reptiglo 10.0 causes but its kerato-conjunctivitis not blindness.

Honestly that dragon appears to have MBD and probably had severe appetite issues depending on its background and overall health history there are probably a slew of other problems in his background. I certainly hope you kept him quarantined from all of your other breeders.

oh i didnt attack him i merely posted a link to this thread in his sale ad that he is so worried about updating but ignoring this one.

MBD cant but there are things that can make a dragon far more susceptible to health/appetite problems that can be. His bone structure does not look too bad so im not sure that its mbd. the shaking you described could also be seizures as dragon seizures are not always violent looking. That combined with lack of appetite, lethargy, and overall poor health could easily point to viral problems that could easily be transferred to your other dragons. Thats why i asked about your quarantine for him. You did quarantine him right?

If it was the crickets then all of the dragon should be sick right? And if money is tight try lllreptile.com for crickets they are cheaper its 22.00 for 1000 shipped or 35.00 for 2000 shipped. And thats with the 2.00 winter pack. Sorry about your beardie.

MBD cannot be spread...but you don't know that it is the cause for sure....Maia [ Jordan Ang] made a comment at the beginning of the thread that is worth checking in to about what the problem may be. MBD usually causes paralysis of the limbs...which begins with the " twitching" of the toes.

Well speaking from first hand care of a dragon with M.B.D. Bearded dragons that have M.B.D. tend to have enlarged limbs. Arms and legs can be almost twice the size of a normal dragon. Not only that dragons with m.b.d. also have soft jaws and is hard for them to chew bigger prey (pinkies) or something like a large cockroach with a thick exo-skeleton... When he eats does it look like he's struggling to chew???. Maybe there should be a fecal sample done to see if there are any parasites. Maybe a reason why he's getting worse, laying around with no app.
MBD cannot be spred can it ?

M.B.D. is not a disease that can be passed along to other dragons. and if caught in time it can be reversed!!!! meaning proper calcium admin. through a young age they will not show signs or have problems when they get older ( big limbs and soft jaws)

Its not the food he wouldnt even eat dubia to begin with now is eating crickets.
I did quarantine him but i put my female sunshine in with him a few weeks but she since has passed due to drowning.Yes drowning,
she was in a shallow rubbermaid with a few other females and one climbed on her head and held her under . I was unaware until was to late she didnt drown straight away she gaped and gasped for about 10 15 mn before finally suffocating. It was the most horrible thing i had ever seen but had read a post by angie h. i believe on how to help a drowning dragon but nothing helped once she passed i held her up by tail and water started to drain from nose and mouth so i know was that for sure.

just for future reference for you. You should never introduce one of your breeding stock to a dragon you have purchased if the dragon you have purchased health is in question. Cross contamination can kill an entire colony if you do not know what you are dealing with especially.

:iagree::iagree::iagree: Bearded dragon 101. Nothing short of 2 weeks in which time you should know if it has a clean fecal and ample time to find out if there are mites or mite eggs...

Yeah seems things just go down hill all at once when they go huh.
Luckely all other dragons are doing fantastic.Pumpkin is gravid again im pretty sure gaining weight and eating like never before wish i had a scale i bet she is tipping 5-600grams.Tom the female leathertrans i got from you is going to be a freking hue dragon. She eats and eats and eats probely best eater i have next to pumpkin lol.The male trans is doing well but not growing quite as fast she has already 2 sheds on him.
??? Honestly he is the only dragon im having probs with even sunshine was doing great.

Even if he responds there is nothing he is obligated to do for you. It has been 3 months had been 2 at the point of you leaving that message. You are well outside of anyone's TOS i have ever read (as it pertains to dragons)

All im asking him for are any records he can provide on this dragon or any information that may help me come to a conclusion on the best means of treatment at this time.
