    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

UGH!!!! My beef is with how rude Tammy (it took several calls just to get her off her ars to try andfind someone to help pack my order) was unwilling to help. Granted they didn't get the payment. AGAIN AGAIN and AGAIN if you freaking people can read AN EMAIL from THEM would have solved all of this I have no more to say on the subject, other than I wish some of you would learn how to read, instead of skimming and then jumping to conclusions.

Some pot shots have been made at me...so nows you turn. If you ever got past the second grade, and could actually read, perhaps you would see where I am coming from!

Again... maybe it is you that needs to learn to read. They say (or you said) they sent you an email. They tried to solve the problem.

they attempted to make contact with you to solve the problem. YOU waited two days to contact them. They tried to make contact sooner. That does not make them a bad guy.
 
Because had they emailed me WED this could have totally been avoided! How can you not see that.

and in what world do you feel it is the sellers responsibility to contact you and say "hey you started to place an order but never sent funds whats going on"

if that is how you think business is done you are sadly mistaken.

why didnt you check on purchase status when you did not receive your paypal notification? I cant believe you think this is ghann's fault lol.
 
Shannen.... just because you have your spam filter turned off.... doesnt mean that an email cant get lost. Do you realize how many hubs your email has to travel thru to get from them to you. At any point along the way something can go wrong.

This is why they advise that you never provide sensitive personal info in an email (like your SSN or CC number)
 
OK first of all a phone call was made. I did everything needed to be done on my end on the paypal, so put that gun away unless you plan on shooting yourself in the foot. I also spent several back and forth phone calls with Tammy trying to fix this. Obviously something happened with the paypal. I'm not a child and am perfectly capable pf using paypal. everything on my end went fine...somehow there was a screwup on paypals end. Now like I said before, I don't expext gahhns to eat the total charges for the Sat delivery. Buy I think it is more than fare for them to at least split it...and in all actuality, had they actually sent me an error email yesterday this all could have been avoided. But alas no emails were sent. My spam folder (for the second time is SHUT OFF.) Regardless, they are handling this very poorly, and as a company...again it's a rue test of a company when things go wrong and how they deal with it that makes the value of the company evident. As far as I'm concered...I can go else were for a lil more money and get better customer service.

Not sure in this whole mess where your putting a bad guy thread against Gahnn's is resolving anything. Throughout your posts the words "paypal" and "problem" were mentioned a few times. You were asked if you got a confirmation from "PAYPAL" and I don't think you ever responded to that question(probably for a good reason). Assuming you got no confirmation from either of these parties why would you have waited until 4:30pm the next day to e-mail them instead of calling the next morning? It looks like you are mad because they did not split half of Saturday shipping with you on a problem I don't think they knew existed, of which through your own words was a Paypal issue. So here is fault as I see it: you___% Paypal____% Gahnn's 0%You can fill in the blanks...
Do not dismiss my posts as a ramblings of a peeved off 6th grader. I know dang well what I am talking about and this transaction is not acceptable. I halve halve a mind to refuse shipment tomorrow and ask for a refund. By the time they get back to MID GAS most probably will be lost, and I will seek a supply else were. After this paragraph how else would you like anyone who reads this to take you as? Hopefully you PM'd this to Gahnn's before they shipped the crickets and you get nothing tomorrow in light of your possible intentions.

I'm not looking for frreebies. All I want is what I paid for, and at this point Im m paying for twice what I ordered. Had their customer service been a lil more helpfulle I would not be in the situation I am in. Essentually I am paying 2 times the price I would have paid had they bothers to send me an email. I know plenty who recomend Gahhns. Like I said I have used them in the past. But this transaction has left more than a sour tasted in my mouth. Not to mention I am spending 1/3rd more for me to ge my feeders late..heck if they ho ad offered some mealworms to mke up the difference i would have been cool, but nope they were unwilling to budge, and until I am satisfied, I will continue to tell my story.

Why would they send you an e-mail concerning no payment. I am sure you are not the first person who did not send payment to them( regardless if its your fault or not). Please refer to the underlined portion of my above statement for further comment on this...
Now you have placed a bad guy thread against them which after anyone reads it will see it is frivolous at best, but more along the lines of malicious since you didn't get your way.....

OK, I actually was just watching this thread because why should I repeat what others have said. If I were to put an order with Ghanns and the order did not go through to them because of an error on Paypals part I would not be mad at Ghanns. I do not know how the phone call went to Tammy but from the sounds of it from this thread you may have been a little upset on the phone with her from the issue with the order. I believe if you would of calmed down a little bit and talked civil to her they would have had this situation resolved quickly. Maybe Tammy's customer service sucked due to you having an attitude or whatever I don't know but I believe this could have been resolved without the BOI post.
With that being said, I think some sellers may not be so willing to sell to you from some of your comments toward members of this site. I think you let your anger get the best of you and maybe you should have cooled down for a few before you posted this thread as well as some of your responses.

Look I'm tired of defending myself, when I am the victim of poor business practices, I'm here to tell my story...I don't see Gahhns saying anything in regards to this subject. And yes they are aware of this thread. So lets all just keep our traps shut until we hear from them...I'm willing to bet it will be a long wait!

Besides, I thought this board was for posting bad expiriences, nota board fro crusifiction.

Just because my bad happenings with this vebdore does not give you the right to break out the cross and nails!

Now my order was placed before 11AM this Wed. According to them all orders placed before 12PM will be shipped that day. Well at 5PM That day I never got an confirmation email stating that my order had been shipped. I let it go, then the following day I waited unil about 4:3P to send an email asking what's the deal.

you waited until 4:30pm on Thursday to call about your order... which is actuall after business hours.

According to Ghann's website
During normal office hours the WebSales Division strives to respond to all correspondence within four hours of receipt. Messages received after about 10:00 AM on Fridays will be responded to the following business day. Currently, our normal office hours are:

So for one... your lucky you even got ahold of a person

and two... if they were willing to ship out at 4:30pm on Thursday (which is 4.5hrs past cutoff) then you are even luckier. I would be willing to bet that most if not all employees had left for the day.

Even if Ghanns is mistaken and didn't send you a notification email about not recieving payment, I wouldn't be upset with them at all. It isn't that uncommon for buyers to flake out and I wouldn't expect a company to track down every person who doesn't send payment on an order (or in this case never gets the payment).

If anything I'd be frustrated with Paypal since it is apparent this is where everything went wrong.

My opinion stands and I will bad mouth this vendor at every chance I get. This site is not the end all be all world of the herpilogical society. I had a bad experience. Regardless of your view. As a customer I am dissatisfied. Oh whats that golden ruls....oh the customer is always right. And in this case the customer was treated like crap. Perhaps since their showing on "dirty jobs" they have become a tad bit jaded. I don't know...All I know is I will not tolerate this kind of treatment. I am done with this...and perhaps after the reactions I have received (honestly looking for help and some kind of support) I will turn my attention to your boys club known as BOI

WRONG!!!! An email or a phone call that they DID not bother to make isn't WRONG..I hope to all that is precious, other companies do not practice this bis ethic. I for one would not! So just how is that wrong!

Look you all alike them, that's cool, until this I swore by them. But until they come here and defend themselves you are all responding with past expeiriences..and in my case that doesn't mean sheet.

I was wronged, be it open for determination or whatever...in my eyes, I'm dissatisfied!
 
Just to add, my feelings for paypal are of their own.....yet that doesn't excuse their lack of communicarion when things went wriong
