    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have not read the entire thread~ but I was just told in Chat that I was nominated. I'm no moderator so I'll just decline the nomination before Webslave has to embarrass me by laughing himself silly if I actually accepted a nomination to be a moderator!

Thanks for thinking of me guys~ but the mods here are higher quality!
 
since my first nominee bailed out (damn you rick), i'm going to go with Royal_Morphz or DAND
 
Well i know he got banned already but if nobody else is gonna atleast chime in to put a smile back on Brandi's face i guess i will! I don't see why she got singled out and think Brandi would make a fine mod!! ;)
 
I agree, Lucille you would be a good mod. I know we have all had our differences over the years but i truly, truly mean it. Also I want to say THANK YOU RICH for working toward making some positive changes here. As an original/back in the day and forever Fauna member I can say, I appreciate you and respect the effort you are making.

I'm not sure that Brandi was singled out more than I think she was just the nominee which he started with and had the plug not been pulled he would have gone and attacked everyone. He started off with Rich and then hit Brandi and I have no doubt he would have worked his way down the list had he not been shown the door first.

No one needed defending from an opinion especially ones so vague as "lacking grey matter" or "needy" how do you prove that..how can anyone even take that seriously? I didn't. I was laughing my ass off, but perhaps I had the wrong reaction.:eek:

:iagree: Just like everyone was singing their praises..I didn't have any problem with what he was saying..easy enough to ignore and let the voting do the work.

It may have made people new to the site, go back and read the nominee's posts and reach their OWN conclusions.:shrug01:

But like I said, he seemed to be in the wrong vendue.:eek:
 
Just to put things in a bit of perspective...I got home this morning, and (after being unable to log on for about 15-16 hrs) there were 662 new posts. Luckily, unfortunately, or frustratingly - depending on my mood of the day - the new post tab only stores the most recent 200. That means that if I want to look at anything besides those, I have to go looking for them. I'm beat, and I have to get up early, which means I just skimmed a portion of the new stuff after I dealt with my PMs. The fact that we are only human, and do have lives off this forum, is the reason there is a means to report posts...and the reason we ask members to use it when a problem is noticed - it's just not feasible for us to look at everything.

One Rick off, one Rick on...the count stands at 16 accepting nominees.

I do disagree. We are trying to weed out scammers..not people that express their opinions (but what do I know...I loved the way Chuck expressed his!):shrug01:.

We are free to agree or disagree with opinions. However, if I am wrong and this is supposed to be just a country club of special friends...carry on ((sneaks out the side door))..

Perhaps that came out wrong. I meant that opinions are fine just find a constructive way to express them.

Mark I believe Fauna IS trying to weed people who post just like that out. Its just not constructive, nor is it productive, and a little low, if you ask me.

Where Deborah is right is getting rid of scammers in this community that we all love. I dont think this is supposed to be a country club either. If it was, I wouldnt join. Hell, I dont think a country club would allow someone like me anyhow.

Opinions are what they are. There is a productive way to get your point across. The bottom line is membership enrollment and a fun cohesive forum for everyone to express their opinions, find some deals, and state your case(s).
