    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I do disagree. We are trying to weed out scammers..not people that express their opinions (but what do I know...I loved the way Chuck expressed his!):shrug01:.

This isn't precisely accurate.

No, I DO intend to weed out any members that appear to have as their prime reason for being here to just cause strife, contention, aggravation, and frustration for the other members. I'm not so naive as to believe that everyone here actually has this site's best interests at heart. There are going to be people here that either through their own personality flaws, or with ulterior motives, would like nothing better than to have this site go down in flames by their actions in kicking up strife and conflict among the members.

Sorry, but no, I do not intend to allow that to happen, and will cheerfully remove ANYONE whom I believe fits within that category. We've seen some people make up multiple member names here just to kick up trouble in the past, and certainly that will likely happen again.

So I am asking the mods to keep a sharp eye for that sort of problem here and deal with it accordingly. In case this has not been understood, one of the jobs of the moderators is also to try to protect this site from damages that malicious personalities can and will try to inflict upon it. The infraction system is an excellent way to keep track of the infraction history to try to determine any such members who are in need of being kept a closer watch on. Yeah, some will just be cowboys who rode too far into town, but not in all cases....

In a nutshell, my intent is to REALLY clean up the BOI specifically, and this site generally. I am doing it gradually, but relentlessly, even if it means some members who cannot change along with us have to be left behind eventually.

I hope this explains my position a little better.
 
Long list of peolple I think are always fair and that I would think would be great leaders for fauna. tattoolost, strictlyexotics (oh dean its time my brother) polaisan, fraggin draggon, miss tuniwha, laurab and wise reptiles. No given order.

Thank you, Shawn-we females DO appreciate what you're saying, but we want a LEVEL PLAYING FIELD-NOT special treatment.

It would be like someone going into your place of employment and saying there aren't enough blue-eyed, left-handed Pacific Islanders working there, and instituting a plan to ONLY hire blue-eyed, left-handed Pacific Islanders.

Everyone who needs a job would be REALLY P!$$ED, and the blue-eyed, left-handed Pacific Islanders would not only feel like token hires, they'd catch tons of flack from everyone else.

Thanks for speaking up for equality and women's rights, though!!!
