Bad Guy Jeff and Christina Wise (Wise Reptiles) Stole Money from Benefit Auctions for Maggie

I rarely, if ever, try to act in any manner of a judge concerning issues that take part on the BOI, but I think in this instance I do need to make a call that can only be honestly viewed as being "judgmental" in nature.

Here are some of my opinions based on what I have gleaned from this situation:

1. Christina Wise has admitting to defrauding a large number of members by taking funds from auctions that were claimed by her (and her husband Jeff) to go to worthy third parties (Maggie Kimmel and Rich Morro).
2. Most of the collected donated funds were instead kept by the Wises and thereby spent on personal items for themselves.
3. Obviously a large number of lies to a large number of people were a prerequisite for them to be able to successfully engage in this scam they perpetrated. This indicates with a reasonable amount of certainly, using simple logic stemming from the probability that they will do in the future what they have done in the past, that any statements they may make now will equally be lacking in the truth.
4. Furthermore, obviously they have spent that fraudulently obtained money, and they do not have the apparent means to pay any of that money back to the parties it was supposed to be destined for.
5. I decided to allow them retained access to the BOI in the hopes that they will come here with truthful explanations, recognize the damage they have done, and make reparations to those damaged parties. Instead, it appears that Christina took advantage of her access to the chat system in order to do nothing more than throw even more confusion and strife into this mix as a method to deflect blame for what they did, and to also try to cover the tracks with deception and accusations against other members of this site.

Under the circumstances indicated above, I can see no benefit to ANYONE by allowing them to have access to this thread, this forum, or this site. It is my opinion that they will not, nor cannot, do anything at this point to make reparations for the scam they pulled here. As such, there is really no point in allowing Christina the opportunity to broadcast more of her lies and endeavor to escalate conflicts between other members in an apparent effort to try to save her (and Jeff's) own skin. So effective immediately, I am banning both of their accounts permanently from this site, as absolutely NOTHING will be gained from their continued presence on this site.

Those opinions sound much more like facts to me.

They have (or at least the did a few weeks ago) animals that could be sold with the proceeds going to Maggie and Rich but obviously they would rather keep them then try and make amends (at least financially). With yesterday's manipulation it is obvious the road they are taking.

I say good riddance.

Can I add a poll to this thread? Or better yet I'd like to start a pool for guessing who Christina is going to contact first now that she is banned?

This isn't a last call for them by any means but noon today is my cut off for this stage in what I have planned. I still would like to see more (actually, I'd like to see everyone) of the approximately 50 people involved to make the complaint. When only 15 complaints are made out of the 50 people who were involved it is a major disappointment for me to see 35 people who couldn't be bothered to file a simple complaint. Very disappointing. Very, very disappointing.

So the next time someone posts asking why have these two been arrested yet, you already have the answer, because over 2/3 of those involved didn't want them to be.

Well, the other supervisor at work got hurt yesterday, so that leaves me as the only field supervisor. Which means no trip for me this weekend like I was hoping.

That being said, I need to try and step back from this thread. I've never been tied up in such a mess before, and to be honest, it has me a little more pissed then I need to be. I've let it consume me and make me miserable, and I don't like that at all. It's not in my normal character to let others get to me like this. My sincere apologies to all, especially Maggie and Rich, for my part in the deviation of the subject matter, and for some of my comments.

That being said, any who have not filed with IC3 yet, please do so. Time is running out, and we need your help to get this done right.

I don't why we as a community are allowing Christina (and Jeff) to continue to tear people apart.
If anyone else was involved I believe Christina would of thrown them under the bus before throwing her husband under the bus on the drug use like she did.
What she is doing is taking the community members' seeds of doubt and using them against us.
I think we should take a lesson learned from this and keep arguements and squabbles out of this thread and unite for the common goal, we all share, of justice.

They lied and ended up faking checks and then admited it was for a prescription drug addiction. Bottom line. They are terriable people.

Jeff and Christina Wise headed auctions/donations for 2 families - the Kimmel's (the husband, Chuck, you referred to Kyle, who unexpectedly passed away, leaving a devistated wife and 3 small children) AND the Morro's (Rick & Sandra, who tragically lost their daughter, equally devistating to that family).

Bottom line & nutshell - the Wise couple spear-headed an auction/fund raiser, STOLE money raised for & intended for both families, lied and fabricated stories, altered a bank check and a bank statement, in addition to a PayPal account record in order to try to cover their theiving butts.

They then "repented", apologizing for their wrong-doing, blaming it on drug addiction & saying publicly they would turn over their herp collection to another stellar, dedicated member here, who had volunteered his time and extensive effort, in order to repay the debt (the same member that first disclosed the Wise fraud and theft) ... but then the Wise couple renegged on that with more BS.

They have since denied all wrong-doing and are attempting (from the snippets I have gathered from a very-closed, private chat conducted between Christina Wise and a couple other members here, which chat records have not been disclosed to members for whatever reasons) to place blame on others here as well ... but obviously do not intend to reimburse what the Kimmel's and Morro's are rightfully and lawfully due.

They have both attempted $ scams on on other non-herp related sites, but those scams were quickly exposed.

Ok, it's not a couple of sentences, but that's pretty much it - and yes, there are criminal lawsuits filed and pending.

Fauna was able to raise $6786.62 for the Kimmel and Morro families.

Of that $6786.62 only $2040 got sent to where it was SUPPOSED to go.

All together there are 23 pages of documentation to prove the Jeff & Christina Wise stole money from the Fauna Members that donated their money & heart and soul to help two grieving families. Fauna was able to raise $6786.62 for the Kimmel and Morro families.

Of that $6786.62 only $2040 got sent to where it was SUPPOSED to go.

If anyone can get a reporter to consider printing this story... just send them to this one post. I have condensed all the proof from this massive thread along with proof from other parts of the site into this information.

I will also make the members of fauna a promise. If you can get the reporters to print anything on what Jeff & Christina Wise has done to these two grieving familys.... I will host a copy on my server to go along with the information I now have (you just need to send me a link to the story). IF we can get an article that states these two will do jail time over what they have done... I will spend the time to make a honest webpage that everyone can be proud of.

I have done the work for you... but you have to finish the job.

Lets bring these two to justice! Spread the word to the media and link theme directly to this post. It has everything they need to run with the story.
