I just wanted to clear something up:

Amanda did in fact pay for 2 day u.s.p.s with our transaction, and the post office had a hold up. I apologize for wording that wrong.

Amanda, please don't take this the wrong way, but I do in fact strongly dissagree with shipping any live animal with the u.s.p.s simply because they're more prone to problems.

Regardless of my opinion though my animals from Amanda showed up in great shape, and impressive quality.

Anyway I just wanted to clear that up. It seems the way I put it was that Amanda shipped 3 day rather than 2. It just took 3 because the U.S.P.S is incapable of getting anything right.

To be honest i am quite surprised to see these two positive ppl be so negative. Or handle this situation in the manner they have. More so surprised at tinman! Most of his post are always so positive and nice towards others. BUT to read this and how he went about it, is quite shocking! and to find out this is a full grown man with kids. Not a angry kid running his mouth! I hope you two can find a happy median and get past this.

The only thing i have to say is shipping animals for anything other than over night shipping is unacceptable!

Shawn, i dont remember why your shipping 2nd day but that's. b.s. plain and simple. you need to look out for the animals best interest. Not anything else, and 2nd day shipping is not in the best interest of your animals!!!!!!!!!!

Amanda, same goes for you hun, atleast in my opinion. you live in a remote area and cant ship over night, find out another way. OR you may have to relocate to continue your hobby. These Reptiles are not capable or equipped to handle 2 day shipping (in a small container, in a box) all the time! i know they make it for the most part. but on a day, week, month, with extreme temps your gonna start losing animals. An if thats okay with you, your not okay with me...

I dropped off a few boxes two weeks ago. only to hang around to watch the u.p.s. man THROWING my boxes onto the second shelf from OUTSIDE his truck! I felt sorry for him when i was done. poor guy probly couldnt sit down for awhile, but he got my drift. An if you know me personally you know i ruined his day!

I'v never done it intentionally but shipping by 2 day service is not going to hurt most reptiles if done during mild temps.

I've shipped many boxes through FedEx and they have lost a few (as did DHL before I started using FedEx). Only fatalities occurred when I shipped snakes to AZ in the summertime and the driver left the small box on his dashboard.

If temps are in the 50's - low 80's it should be fine to ship by 2-day.

My 2 cents.

Those colors are black and blue (no racial connotations implied or intended there Shawn) but unfortunately it is due to him beating himself up here for all to witness. It's rather sad to have watched this happen. I am disappointed to have seen Shawn do this to himself. Hopefully in time he will be able to pick himself up and brush himself off and get back on track.

WOW this is such a joke its like their are people on fauna who dont even buy or sell they just drill people in the boi untill breaking point i really dont see the point in the boi it doesnt do any good wow because someone loses their temper and freaks out everyone wants to label them well how would all of you who are doing all the drilling feel if it was being done to you would you be so calm and just take it.Its not the attitude of a person that makes them bad in this industry it would be thier quality of animals and their care so why all this judging over how we handle situations its pitifull.Shawn i for one am not on your side or the proven scammer amanda but you need to just give it up the boi will just break you and for what nothing but some really lonly people with no lives no family nothing just their computer to get some kicks its a shame and YES all of you know who you are so give it up either posts some adds sell something or buy something if not why even log in 4 real get a life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have read through this thread...Geckoman,you are obviously one of the people you are talking about..I would also like to mention this place is a tool for learning,buying,and selling..I dont have anything but a couple dogs right now..Never even sold a reptile before,and cant get one til I move into a warmer house with better windows to help keep the house warmer during winter...Are you gonna tell ME TO LEAVE OR BAN ME YOURSELF??? ...Nope didnt think so..Its obvious Amanda isnt a scammer...Your just mad cause she wouldnt talk on the phone with you about a possable purchase...Sounds like you are the one who needs a life..I also reported your friend tinman for his cursing and insults on the previous page..
