• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.
  • Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    A cook, I am not...

Oh, speaking of fermented fish...... No way, Jose!

    A cook, I am not...

Yeah, I would probably be more comfortable with something in the freezer for half a decade than I would a can stored at room temperature.

    Nightmare in the bedroom....

I am pretty much convinced that nothing will make you look more retarded than trying to figure out how to fold a king-sized fitted sheet. It is like trying to fold a giant football. :unhappy:

    A cook, I am not...

No one has ever accused me of being a cook, much less a GOOD cook. And I doubt I will ever live to see such a day. So for you cooks out there, please understand that I speak from complete ignorance. If things such as "aged" beef, and "fermented" foods of many types are considered as desirable...

    Connie

November 11, 2025. 11//11/2025. Veteran's Day. Second anniversary of the day Connie died. Last year I was in Thailand on this date and had plenty of things to distract me. Things that shielded me from the pain. Things that put me outside of my home and the family room where Connie died on the...

Perhaps. But probably only if I censored the use of certain *nasty* words here that they don't like. But they don't own me, and never will. I will not trade my freedom for money.

LOL!! Well I DEFINITELY see a drop in Google Adsense revenue since posting the above. So Big Brother IS watching what is posted here. Fark 'em. My site, and I will post what the hell I want to here as well as permit others to post what the hell they want to. Google can just kiss my ass if it...

Can anyone identify this Thailand snake?

LOL!! A long while back I was over in Delaware visiting with Connie's family and her brother (Butch) came into their mom's house acting all proud because he said he just killed a copperhead. I asked him how he knew it was a copperhead. He thought for a moment and said "It looked just like the...

Can anyone identify this Thailand snake?

Thank you Joe! I think Pim is a little fearful of snakes. The workers were sure it was a king cobra. Cobras are found where she lives, and I think the usual procedure is to just kill any snake they find. Much like it seems to be the case in the county where I live.

Can anyone identify this Thailand snake?

While my woman was away, a worker living nearby found this snake around her house, so he killed it. Snapped a few pics, but obviously rather low resolution and from a distance. Anyone have any idea what kind it is? I really don't know Thailand snakes at all.

    Classifieds control panel

Haven't commented on this since moving to the new platform the site is now running under. The allowable bumps of classified ads is now set as the following:

How do you edit or delete ads now?

Well, you are in the correct area, just not the correct door. https://www.faunaclassifieds.com/forums/threads/editing-and-deleting-posts.842713/

I actually did set up a pretty much free form forum quite a long time ago. The HELL forum -> https://www.faunaclassifieds.com/forums/forums/hell.624/ The idea was to have a space and ONLY that space for mostly unmoderated discourse. It used to be a forum that could only be explicitly joined by...

And that would be justification for restricting what people can say on your forums? Slap censorship on them just so you can make more money? Sorry, that just does not seem ethical to me. At the very least, create one or more forums that the web spiders cannot go and allow your members to post...

    Ain't technology great?

I think I may get one of them but keep the remote hidden. When my girlfriend goes into the bathroom, I can trigger it at what seems like a good moment for a surprise. Weapon of ass destruction, so to speak.

    Ain't technology great?

WTH? Someone please explain to me why in the world you would need a remote control for a bidet toilet seat? So what do you do with it? Give the control to someone else and yell out the bathroom door "Fire when ready darling! Use the fire hose setting, please!"

    Discussion forums here versus Facebook.

Well, made an interesting discovery today. Another forum based site (based on tractros) that I frequent some has a similar private messaging system like here. I have been chatting with a guy there for quite a while and the discussion turned to guns generally and Glocks specifically. Well come...

    Bears in the hood

Looks like the bears were moving through last month. Seems like they pass through here a few times a year. Not sure from where nor to where. At least this time none of them wrecked the bird feeders.

    3I/ATLAS

Is anyone else trying to follow the news about this 3I/ATLAS object in our solar system now? For those who don't know, it sorta seems like a comet, except it comes from deep space and not from within our own solar system. On top of that it is violating every previously developed "rule" based on...
