    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

    Needing advice. How would I sanitize a room that had a sick animal in it

    So that my other animals don't get sick too? I bought a dumbo rat from a local petshop that I actually intended on keeping as a pet. He was great, but during his time in my quarantining room I discovered he was really ill. There was a lot of blood & some mites!!! I returned him within 24 hours...

    DFW LONESTAR EXPO! March 31st/April 1st. Anyone else going? Also a question...

    Do you think vendors would freaking hate me if I emailed them to see what they're bringing to the show in advance? There's a vendor list on the website. I'm looking for a few specific animals. Another question - do you see live rats at expos often? Someone was selling hairless dumbo rats at...

    Wanting more herps. Went to a Repticon here in dallas/ennis today...

    My man & I left with nothing. I refused to purchase any animals because I saw that Repticon allows non-CB (wildcaught?) & that just seems so damn risky to me. Even if I bought a CB I'd still be terrified it caught some sort of illness just from being out & about at the show. Paranoid? Yeah, I...

    HELP!!! People at the reptile expo gave me bogus advice. I need heating/light info!

    I spent around $60 on a 5.0 UVB lamp & Reptisun Terrarium Hood. It definitely doesn't get hot. No where near 85 degrees. WHAT SORT OF HEAT LAMP DO I NEED FOR MY NEW BOA? He's a baby & currently in a 10 gallon. Anything I can get from Petsmart would be great. I'm freaking out.

    I bought a boa today & he hasn't drank once from his water bowl...

    Should I be concerned? I'm worried he'll be very dehydrated. (Also sorry - I'm not sure if 'drank' is proper grammar/proper context. Drunk? Drinked? God I don't know. But y'all get my drift).

    I hope I dont get banned for this post but I have a question

    I have NO clue where to post this. I want to warn everyone in the dallas area about a certain reptile vendor/exotic pet store. I had a HORRIBLE experience with them today. Basically they were extremely rude & condescending. Many witnesses agree that it was discrimination against me because I'm...
