    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Beware of this 'breeder'. I found her on Kingsnake advertising CB carpet Chameleons but for only $90. I found out though other people who have worked with her that these are not CB but WC. I was expecting her today at 10:30, it was getting hot around that time but not to bad. 10:30 came and went, no cham. Delivery was DHL who apparently gaurantee before 12!!! She was an hour away from me at 9am but I didnt recieve her til 12. I knew when I held the box it was going to be bad....it was hot to the touch, temps had quickly risen to the high 90s by then. I quickly opened the box to see a dark cham, laying on her side, I thought she was dead for sure. So far she's pulling though but people that ship chams like this and falsly represent CB as WC need to be stoped. I hope no one else has to go through what I did, next time the cham probably will be dead.
 
Yeah they are pretty much another Dan Scolaro. They are importers/wholesalers who lie about what they are selling and probably have no quarantine. I mean seriously they changed their name from Rainforest reptiles because that name was shot to pieces.

I hope she makes it. Was there a cold pack in the box?
 
Sorry to hear of your experience. While this may be off topic, I will not accept an animal shipped through DHL. If there is no other shipping option, I will look elsewhere. I have heard too many horror stories about this carrier. That being said, the seller should have had some control of arrival time, and if 10:30 arrival was not available, delivery should have been scheduled to safegaurd the health of the cham.

Also, do you have any proof that this was a wc animal?
 
10:30 delivery is available with DHL, it's a couple bucks more then noon delivery.

Was their not a cool pack in with the poor Cham?
Was she in a cup or bag, or just loose in the box?
 
Thank you for posting this, I was looking for a reference on them. I am looking to get a large group of WC Fat-tailed Geckos. (I have the capability of cleaning them up.) Rainforest reptiles? Hmm.
 
While I'm not a fan of the business or its predecessor, I just wanted to point out the sheer stupidity of making a BOI thread on the same day of the transaction.

To bad I learned about the BOI after I recieved that cham. Sadly HE (yes it was a boy and not a 3 irl like I specifically had asked for) met his demise 3 short days after I recieved him. I took him to the vet and had a carpet breeder helping me try and keep him alive but he was just too weak. And BTW I dont think its stupid to post the same day you recieve something, regardless of anything else that cham should NOT have been shipped like that. On a side note I was told my card would be credited when she saw this post, of course that didn't happen. If your reading this Danielle I'm calling my credit card company for the refund. Even if I dont get my money back though at least other people wont waste thier hard earned money on your animals.

Don't get me wrong, I don't like RainforestReptiles anymore than the next guy...

But you need some proof, as in, e-mails.

Honestly, I feel for you but the carrier's delivery time is out of any breeder's control. I've personally had shipments guaranteed to arrive by 10:30 am not arrive until sometime in the afternoon. They're always reasonably close by the morning of delivery, but the time you get the package depends on how long the driver takes to reach your address. In my experience packages guaranteed by 10:30 don't get there any faster than packages guaranteed by noon.

That's only IF the package was requested by the shipper to be delivered by 10:30. What was the scheduled delivery time paid for by Danielle Fields Geckos? If it wasn't 10:30, she (not DHL) is responsible.
