Inquiry- Michael Whitefeather

I have been considering buying some retics from a Michael Whitefeather in Wisconsin. I have spoke withhim on the phone and via email and seems very knowledgable and personable.

I am wondering if anyone has done business with him and what the experience was like.

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

I met Michael for the first time this past weekend at the Philly show. I didn't do any business with him (don't keep any retics) but I wouldn't hesitate doing business with him if I ever decided to get into retics. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, which left a very good impression. A friend of mine did some business with him while we were at the show and he seemed very pleased with the retics he purchased from him.

We've done business in the past with Michael & would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. He is an upstanding fellow with a solid appreciation and understanding of retics. You'd have a hard time going wrong with him.

I have done business with Michael many times and I am very happy with the retics I got from him. If I have any questions about anything having to do with retics I go right to Michael and he has no problem answering them.

You can't do much better then Micheal on the retic end of things.

Well He is not a good guy ...Here is the true story..emails and recorded conversations to back up allegations...

Michael contacted me reguarding a boelens python I had to trade..We came to a agreement .He was to send me a adult pair of 100% het for albino retics in trade for my female boelens..And he was to pay shipping both ways..We talked constantly..Anyways I sent him the boelens..He was completely thrilled with her..We talked and talked and he made excuse after excuse on why he couldnt send me my snakes..This all started back in march or so..Well a couple months later I finally got the male..Mike amazingly dissapeared hospital out of town whatever..Next He asked me if I could sell some animals for him..Sqeeze me constrictors was doind it at first..They were not selling fast enough for mike..I agreed..Posted ads blew out animals..People wanted pics i would ask mike camera broke computer screwed up etc..BTW the agreement was to split the money..Stan chiras contacted me wanting a large retic..I set it up for him to fly up and pick it up from mike..The price 1000.00..500 for me and 500 for mike..Well at the same time sold a bunch of 100% het for albino tiger retics Mike wanted 2500.00 for waht I sold also sold a baby female tiger 250 .125 for me 125 for him.next sold a pair of 8ft super tigers Price 900 450 to me and 450 to him..keep in mind that he still owed me 500 and the female het retic..I sent mike a check for 2750..At wich time he was supposed to ship the animlas..My buddy in az waited and waited and mike kept putting him off as well as the other 2 sales..Finally my friend drove from az to wisconsin to get his animals..I ended up having to pay the people back there money..And to this day I still have not gotten my female retic..I sent mike a email the other day and he replied If you want her come get her.....So he is garbage And I would never recomend anybody send him money till they recieve there animals..The story could be nade a lot longer but id ont feel like typing anymore..Please feel free to email me And I will send anybody info..I have also turned him into the us postmaster for mail fraud and have filed a complaint with the sherrifs dept..Anybody els ehave any advise please help...like I said also I do have proof of almost all wich I am writing

So you have proof for ALMOST all of which you have written but you don't have the guts to post your full name. Not a post that exudes credibility in my opinion, not to mention a post that violated the rules of the board.

I don't know why people can't follow the rules. I wish the webslave would just start deleting EVERY post he sees without a full name and give no explainations. People who can't read the rules and follow them don't deserve an explanation as to why their posts are deleted.

I have a couple of questions if you do not mind answering them.
Are you one of the two-three people I have seen post on the classifieds asking for Michael WHitefeather to contact you? That is what made me post this to bbegin with. I have seen a couple (like I said) 2-3 people saying they have not been able to get in touch with him.
Why would he send you the first snake like he was supposed to, but not send the other and tell you that you had to come get it if you wanted it? I spoke to him on the phone one day and he said that he had sold a big het albino (not sure as to when), but he never stated anything about having more when he went through his collection. He told me that all he had left was some baby tigers and baby supers, some albinos that were not for sale, and I believe it was 2 Supers that were close to breeding size. I was/am considering getting one of the two supers.
It just makes me nervous when people have to post on a public forum to get someones attention. Do you have emails you could send me OR post here to back up your claim?
Any and all info would be appreciated, I am looking forward to adding to my collection and want to make the right choice.

I don't think that you really know the truth. I had talked to you about the 12ft. female tiger and the 1.1 supers tigers you were selling. At that point in time you told me that they were yours. Never once did you mention that they were Michael Whitefeathers. I kept asking you for pics and when you could ship them out and you would just avoid the questions. Well I decided that you were not telling the truth. My friend Andrew Baynard thought other wise. He took your word and kept talking to you and ended up sending you money for the 12ft. female tiger (and the only reason he did that was because he was in dier need of one). Well guess what, no tiger was ever sent to Andrew. Well after everything was worked out Andrew was going to get and Albino Green Burm female that was 8-10ft. Well the snake shows up and it is 5-6ft. and about on its deathbed with an upper respitory infection. After that Andrew contacted Whitefeather and they talked about the situation and worked a deal out on some retics. So Andrew got screwed out of money by you Rick, and now refuses to buy over the net unless it is from a well know breeder like N.E.R.D, Whitefeather,Clark, Kahl, Sharp etc.

I have had dealings with Whitefeather and everything has worked out. I purchased a 17ft. female 100% het albino from him and in a week I got it (the shipping took a little longer but that was because of weather not Whitefeather).

To this day I still have dealings with Whitefeather and he has been holding certain snakes for about 2 months just for me. Now tell me that Whitefeather is not a good guy.

Like I said I am all for Whitefeather and if you want a nice quality retic just contact him. If he dosen't have what you want he can find it.

Rick you need to get your story correct. I was in the middle of all of this so I know what went on.

Ok, Nigel, now I am really confused. You just stated that you recently got a female 100% het albino retic from him (female). Above Rick states that he got the male, but was to drive and get the female if he wanted it. My question is, like I stated before, he told me that he had sold it and he told me he had no more when I asked about them. If there is a chance you both are talking of the same snakle, why would he sell it to you if he had already done a trade for it on another deal? I just want to know what is what here if you can understand why.

The date that the deal with Rick went down in March of 2002.

I bought the retic from Mike in Oct. 3

Ricks het albino is still sitting down stair is Mike basement.

I hope you are correct Nigel, it just sounds a little "suspicious" to me alomg with, like I said earlier, people trying to get ahold of him that could quite possibly be waiting for animals as well. At any rate I am glad to see you are happy, that is the bottom line.

This thread isn't going to make much sense after I delete all of the messages without FULL NAMES in it.

Wish I could plug in some programming code that would automatically delete the message as well as the logon record for anyone violating this one rule alone. Sure would save me a lot of time and headaches.

Maybe I'll change that line about FULL names into a brighter color to get people's attention. Think that will work?
