    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Inquiry- Michael Whitefeather

There are two moronic points that keep reocurring in this thread.
1) I won't mention names but there is a person who keeps mentioning Mike's animals like he only has one or two for sale and if two people talk about a het albino or a tiger they must mean the same snake. In reality Mike is producing a whack of retics! I think he is incubating close to 100 eggs now and has gravid females due to lay soon. For those of you who don't know retics can lay up to 100 eggs a clutch. Mike will, even with small clutches hatch out a couple hundred retics this winter and I will be buying some from him.
2) You guys talk about Mike like he is dodging you. In reality if you went to a reptile show you would probably not only see Mike but if you went to a big show like Tinley Park or Philly a couple weeks ago, he has a booth there!

I know this off the topic,but I don't think most people read the rules. So changing color is not going to help.
 
I don't think it'll help Rich. If folks are too lazy to read the rule as it stands, then changing the color of the font probably won't help. Case in point is "reticulatus". Even after the rules are mentioned in this thread, he/she violates them.
 
Let me make MYSELF clear. I am only stating what Mike told me himself. I just got confused and was wondering, NOTHING wrong with that. I do not know Mike from a hole in the ground so, NO, I do not know what Mike has (I suppose I am the 'unmentioned" name, which is fine, just not sure why the lack of name is important). He gave me an extensive list of animals and I suppose I made the mistake of taking it as complete. On the other hand he does not for ANY reason have to tell me EVERYTHING he has. All I did was post a "inquiry" about someone because I would still like to get some animals from him. I too have heard his animals are nice, but I was concerned due to the few posts I see where people have been trying to contact him. My point was made and so were yours. I was fine with the answers I got until this Rick guy posted his story. It seems to be a sad situation in more than one way. If his story is true and he sold some snakes for Mike and they were never shipped, that is something he and Mike will have to work out, yet does not make it right.
I am finished with this thread, you all can have a ball going back and forth with whatever humorous details you all feel need to be shared.

I'll tell you what Brian, I have a little challenge for you. You go and find one single person in this industry or any other industry on this planet, that does not have a single person that would complain about them. It is not possbile. I personally know enough people in this business that I can find one that has had a problem with everyone in this business. You asked for info. You got a pile of good responses and one bad response. It is called a law of averages. You got 95% good and 5% bad. That would thrill any politician! After you get this info you cop an attitude with us, the people who have taken our time to help you out. Take it for what it is worth and appreciate it. If you would just base your decison solely on what we say you would be unwise anyway. It is all about delaing with the seller and seeing if you feel comfortable with them or not. This board is just a pile of others opinions. You must take them for what they are worth. Evan Stahl

this does not have to turn into a war between you and I does it? You are right, I asked for opinions (well inquiry anyway) and I got some, that WAS my point and I THANKED THOSE WHO RESPONDED. I suppose that was directed at me, maybe I am wrong and I appologize if it was not directed at me. I stated very clearly, I took his list as complete and maybe it was not. Like I stated, he does not have to reveal everything he has. I simply asked in our telephone conversation what he had. PERSONALLY, if someone asks me, I would give them a list of everything I had individually OR I would just say retics, boas and some colubrids. That is ME and NO, not everyone has to respond like that. Point is, I am sure you can see where I was coming from. I had never spoke to him prior to that day and had NO CLUE what he had.........'nuf said on that.
I am sure this was not directed at me, but to cover all basis.....I never said he was dodging me and NO he did not.
Lastly, I suupose everyone could find someone to say something bad about the other......so true. One might take the average and go with it, in THIS case it would be a positive inquiry. You are correct, one has to deal with the other to get the "full effect" and I have yet to do so.
Yes, my last line had some sarcasm in it. I jsut find it sad that one cannot even make a simple inquiry, ask some questions in relation to the responses and not get bashed for it. In my mind, and hopefully you will take it the same, no harm done.

I would like to address the accusation brought against me by Rick Tozer. Rick and I had gotten in contact a while ago about trading some animals. I had mentioned the fact that I had some animals for sale. He told me that he was out of work at that time and that he had a baby on the way and that some extra money would help. Since I am an extremely busy person, and an idiot when it comes to computers, Rick said that he would post my animals for me, and add a little on top of what I needed, for himself. I thought this would be a good deal and convenient for us both. As time passed, Rick would tell me that he sold this or that and that I needed to ship the animal out. I told him that I would not ship anything out without being paid first. At the end of April, Rick contacted me, wanting to work out a deal for a friend of his in Arizona. We agreed on a price that made both of us happy, but again, I let him know that I would not ship anything without money in hand first. Throughout this time, he would tell me how he had this and that sold, but I still had never received any money from him, therefore, I never shippd any animals. On May 5th, 2002, I recieved a check for $2750.00, which was payment for the animals for the gentleman in Arizona..nothing more, nothing less. end of part one.

I began talking with the gentleman in Arizona, and every time we talked, he would mention that Rick would tell him how I hadn't shipped any animals that he had sold, and I explained to the gentleman that I had never received payment, except for his, and that I wouldn't ship anything without getting paid, and the gentleman agreed with me. We then agreed that it was dangerous to the animals he purchased from me to be shipped, what with the extreme temps and fires. He said he had some business to do in Milwaukee and would I mind if he were to come and pick his animals up. I said that would be great. Unfortunately between this conversation and his trip, one of the animals he purchsed passed away. When he got here, I offered for him to choose anything else I had available. He chose a female striped tiger and I explained that that animal had already been sold by Rick, and I would give him the benefit of the doubt and wait for payment. He respected this decision and agreed to it. I contacted Rick that night and told him that the transaction was completed with the gentleman in Arizona. I explained that if I received money, I would ship animals out. I never heard anything from him until a week or so ago. end of part two

I received an e-mail from Rick, ranting and raving about how he had to pay all these people back for animals they never received, and that I should reimburse him. To the best of my knowledge by talking with some of these people myself, they never received any reimbursement. I apologized to all of those whom I spoke with on any inconvenience that this situation may have caused, and re-explained the fact that I never saw any of their money. When I e-maile Rick back and told him to come and get the female-that is all I meant-just for him to get her. I also told him that it was not my responsibility to reimburse him for anything, as no money ever reached my pocket, aside from the gentleman in Arizona, which had been completed. As to the female, during the course of our communications, Rick mentioned numerous times that it would save him shipping and crate costs if he would just drive here for a visit and to pick her up. He has not come to get her, nor has he shown interest in aquiring her. She is still here. I believe I am being totally fair to myself by requesting payment for anything that I ship out. I don't think anyone out there would ship animals without being paid. If I am wrong in feeling this way, I apologize. end of part three

I tried to be as fair as I could. I gave Rick the benefit of the doubt numerous times. Each time nothing came of it. Please understand I am not being harsh. I , too, have a family, bills and retics to feed. I once again would like to openly apologize to anyone who may have been inconvenienced by this situation, and I understand that this may deter some of you from purchasing from me, but I understand that. ANd to address Brian Oaklys post concerning people posting about contacting me, please understand that I do not have a website and that I do not post anything for sale until a few days ago. If he was really concerned, he could've contacted them and explained the reason for the inquiry. He would've found out that they were pre-ordering animals for an upcoming show. Due to my contact information on the NARBC website being incorrect, they were unable to reach me. I'd like to thank all of those who have posted on my behalf, and I look forward to continuing our friendship/business relationship. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Well, this is my dealings with Micheal Whitefeather. I heard about him threw several people, who's advice and recommendations, I trust before ever meeting him. I meet Mike at several shows and finally spoke with him at great lengths at this past Philly show. Micheal was very easy to talk to, great attitude and I feel a good business and friendship had been struck. Add the fact he knows what he's doing when it comes to Retics and has a awesome collection. The babies that he had produced were some of the nicest ones Ive seen (Viewed these in Chicago and Philly).

Finally, we worked out a deal on one of his animals and I got it in last night. He shipped when he said he would ship, gave me a great deal, packaged the animal well and the animal was just as advertised. NO complaints. I wont hesitate in dealing with Micheal again and IM VERY confident I will. You still owe me diner and drinks and I WILL hold you to it !!! LOL !!

Answer a few questions..on open forum..Curious to see what you can come up with...

1.what happened to my 500.00 from stan? I have email proof..In wich I quote "I figure we can just split the money from sales"end quote

2. dons animals where 2500.00 to you..wich I agreed to did not figure splitting that amount was fair to you..Also email proof of this

3.andrew was paid back with cash and snakes..Of wich he was happy with the snake when he recieved it..
the guy in michigan was paid back with a check for the full amount.and the other gentleman has been very patient and will be getting the rest of his money within the next couple weeks.?
so what are you trying to pull saying people got no reimbursment.they are either lying to you or you are lying to us?

4. why is it the 3x I tried to come over there you blew me off the day I was supposed to leave..?It is a 12 hour drive and takes a little planning.

5.also the only reason I said I was coming out there was because months went by that you said you were shipping my snakes and did not..

that leaves 750 unaccounted for???
that should have paid for andrews snake 200 and the other guys snakes of 450.00and the extra 100 was for shipping..

Boom then Mike dissapears for weeks at a time..Where were you home avoiding me..I had my friend in oregon call you just to see if you were dodging me..I tried to calll 2 min beforre he called..Guess what he got a hold of you..also you have made arrangements with don to ship him some snakes on trade as well as his original that you have not sent yet..I will ship I have been hearing this for 3 weeks from him..and of course he still has no animals you promised...Do not blame all that on the weather..I am not that far from you..And we have internet access..
Also why did I get stuck paying shipping on the male retic you wwere supposed to pay..Email proof of this also..So there is another 75.00 you re into me for...well lets see what lies you can come up with for these ones..

Rick, Mike did not say that they got no money. He said he gave them no money because he did not get money from you. If you took their money and they got no animals and then you refunded their money, what did Mike do wrong here? It sure seems like the problem is on your end. Evan Stahl

I am not going to do this with you..It was a measureable 6ft...As far as the rest of your story I spoke with andrew before during and after he got the green..He never once stated anything was wrong with it..So anything beyond is inmaterial..Stay out of this..This is between me and mike..If andrew wanted to put in a complaint about me he should have done it..On a different thread..

I never sent you money because you never sent me pics of the tiger and supers that you said you had. I had the money in hand but I am glad I never sent it.

I tell you this Rick, it is funny how you are the only one complaining about Mike and the rest of use are all for him.
