    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

BUT HE DOESN'T COVER HIS TRACKS; HE FORGETS ABOUT IP ADDRESSES BEING LIKE FINGERPRINTS. BUSTED!!!! Am I the only one who feels the tittle to this thread should read,

Beware!!of gregh, he comes on a public forum with the caps loc a blazin, slamming some guy he thought sent some naughty emails.
So after a halh hour, he changed his mind and states the email was not from this Billy at all.
 
Please put some meat on this plate or the entire thing will be deleted. This site is not here for email abuse situations.

Did you have a problem buying, selling, or trading animals with this person or not?

Please find a dictionary and look up this term: "Details". Then look up "Facts".

If you cannot provide DETAILS and FACTS to backup your accusations, then this is just hearsay and this thread WILL be deleted.

I'VE TALKED TO A PETSHOP IN COPPERAS COVE, TX TODAY THAT HAD NOTHING BUT BAD REPORTS ABOUT BILL RIVERS. NOT TO MENTION THE SNAKE HE SOLD ME WAS SICK AS HELL, AND DIED!!!! IS THIS NOT SUFFICIENT PROOF? IF PEOPLE DON'T EXPOSE OTHERS IN THIS FASHION THEN THEY WILL KEEP GOING, & GOING, & GOING. IT WOULD NEVER STOP. I DONATED SOME CASH FOR THIS WEBSITE ALSO LIKE A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE, AND AM VERY THANKFUL FOR THIS SITE, BUT IF PEOPLE WANT TO RIP OTHERS OFF LET THEM TAKE THAT TO ANOTHER SITE. AM I WRONG HERE?

When did he sell it?
What was wrong with it?
Did you tell him about your displeasure (or try to)?
Has he addressed the issue in any way?

Leave out what other people have done with him. Tell them about the site and have them post their experience in the first person.

Yes, the proper thing to do would be to explain your dealings with the Rivers'. Only post facts, the truth, and it is never a good idea to post hearsay.

How about I start a post saying how bad you are and not provide facts?

1. What did you buy?
2. How much?
3. Where?
4. When
5. Why
6. E-mail exchanges
7. so on and so forth.
 
Greg, the very nature of the BOI dictates that accusations of wrongdoing must be accompanied by firsthand details.

If you were sold a sick snake, post the details of the situation...when did this transaction take place, what type of snake, what illness, when did it die, what was the seller's repsonse.

What was bought from Bill Rivers: 1- 7foot Female Boa
When: 7-1-03
Cost: 4 baby striped ball pythons for 1 Female Boa.
Where: At his house in Copperas Cove, Tx
Email Exchanges: Yes, on my part. After I called and spoke to him about the problem I have not heard from him. I've tried to call, no answer (I guess that caller ID works). He don't respond to any of my emails.
Problem: The snake had a SERIOUS respitory infection and died 2 days after I recieved her. Was going to donate to the local college, they didn't want it. Emailed Bill, said come get it if you want it. No reply, chunked the snake in the trash after it was in freezer for 5 days. Still have not heard from Bill. I had to buy meds from my vet (Genticin) 4 shots of it ran me $50, and she died after only 1 shot.
Today after I spoke to a gentleman in C.C. Tx, he said this really didn't suprise him that he did this, since Rivers had done the same to him on a couple of occasions.
He doesn't want to make it right so this is my only course of action.
Apparently 2 of my ball pythons have died within the last 2 days. But I have not heard from Mr. Rivers.
I will make my deal right if in fact he can show me dead baby ball pythons.
 
If I broke the terms, sorry Ritchie. I just feel this guy needed a little exposure and I've said all I need to say.
