In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

You are obviously free to do what you want but this is a tight nit community and we help each other. Richard and I are posting about this to help and warn others and get these guys out of this business, and we have to post all the facts, and it is just not going to look good.

Joe...I understand the situation and I feel terrible for Richard. But how am I supposed work this? I executed a trade with Paxton and he completed his end of the deal now I have to complete my end...this is a moral dilemma...I honestly feel that the tiger is Richard's but I did the trade with no knowledge of their deal! How can I not hold up my end of the deal? I've put this off as long as I can...I told Richard if he gave Paxton my # then I wouldn't be able to postpone any longer if he told me to ship my snakes and he did tell me to ship my snakes! Joe, this is a fucked situation to be in, I'm damned if I do and damned if I don't! I also told Richard to start a BOI on fauna on Friday so I would have a leg to stand on and be able to delay it longer but it wasn't done. And I had no idea of the deal gone wrong had I known I never would have done any business with him but now I'm stuck looking like a douche to one or the other...I have to hold up my end of the deal or I'm no better than any other scammer out there. I hope you understand this situation I'm in.

To everyone who is blaming me and bashing me...I'm asking $950 for the tiger and I do not have "extra money" to lose...if money is of no concern for everyone shooting their mouths off then put it up. I'll take $700 or my 2 snakes back and gladly ship the tiger to Richard.
I guess since I wasn't the one to get burned first I should be the one to lose out?

That Tiger is stolen property. If you hold him ransom instead of returning him to his rightfull owner you could be in serious legal trouble. You could always sue or something to get your other two snakes back since what was traded to you was stolen. But the bottom line here, if you dont give that snake back you could be in for some big legal trouble. You complain about the money, yet lawers arent cheap!

I told you, it is not about me/you or this one deal, it is about the community, the future, countless other potential customers that may get scammed by this person and that may not want to do business with you because of this.
Some of us are in this for the long haul, and this type of behavior just doesn't cut it.

My personal opinions aside, you and Richard should really work on nailing this guy that screwed you both. Right now, you have received this snake and can be a key witness that Richard needs to file charges against Paxton. I think it would greatly help you both if you talked offline about a course of action. Paxton is probably smiling his tail off watching you guys burn. There is still a way everyone can try to come out even and the person who should pay, might. You just have to work for it. There are plenty of people here who can point you in the right direction, you just have to ask.
