    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

A deal gone wrong with Mike Plank at, B.G.R.

I did not mean for Ed to take his snakes home, but take his arguments home.

More importantly Joe get your money back or take legal action man.

Ed everyone has to adjust so the consumer can afford a snake. A thousand more or less on these animals just means we gotta produce more to make it back.

From much of what I read here by those who have issues with you, I guess the American Way is no longer the competitive marketplace, but rather some form of price controls or added surcharge for the big breeder for not loving their animals enough. Hope that you get your money back.

Speaking of topic drift, I am a big fan of both Sam Walton and Horatio Nelson. Since the passing of each, and looking at the views in this thread, is it any surprise that WalMart damn near rules the planet, while Britannia no longer rules the waves? :D

You need to step up to the plate. You have had plenty of time to collect up the money that you have been running with for a long time. I feel absolutely horrible for sending Joe to you when he asked me were to get amyae from. I told Joe "I have heard that Mike Plank is the biggest breeder of them and that he has nice looking amyae". I cannot believe of all the people out there that you would be the one to take someone's money and run. I think that Joe should have just went ahead with his attorney and the IRS since, you seem to think that this is some kind of joke. I can assure you that it is no joke.
My question is why did you even allow it to escalate to this??? You knew when you went to Daytona in August that you were not going to even give him any of this years geckos even though you didn't give him last years geckos????? That is just sorry!! You should have contacted Joe and settled up with him then or at least told him that you would take care of this after your return. You told Joe last year before the Daytona show (2005) that you would not be taking any geckos to Daytona so that you could fill part of his order. That was when I stepped in and started asking Joe were his amyae were that Mike Plank owed him because by January I knew that something was very wrong with the whole picture. At that time, Mike, Joe was too busy to be concerned about the geckos so, he let you slide and I really think that you thought since Joe was doing so well this year with sales he would forget all about the little old $10,000 that you have literally STOLE from him. I see you as nothing more than a lie and a cheat and I would not make any business deals with you if you were the last man standing to make a deal with. GIVE JOE BACK HIS MONEY AND QUIT JERKING HIM AROUND. This is ridiculous to even have to keep on about.

It appears it’s “ball python breeder’s self-immolation year” and no-one told us about it. In this thread it doesn’t seem to matter to some if an individual has been wronged or not. Some are even rejoiced that it actually happened. The mentality is that they deserved what was coming to them.

Is it that difficult to separate the individual from the action? Whether anyone approves Joe’s business approach or not is irrelevant to the issue at hand. He paid for geckos he never received, and those are the facts. There’s another thread that discusses MKR business approach. If anyone feels the need to address that issue they should post it there then.

As far as the other comment: “it’s all about the money”, I’m not really sure to whom is the comment directed. Is it towards Joe Capone who is selling more for less or is it towards other breeders/brokers that are selling less for more? Maybe someone can explain which is in it more for the money…or are they maybe both but with different approaches?

I would assume that anyone who buys male and female ball morphs is planning to breed them. Is he/she planning to fill the house with dozens of albinos/mojaves/piebalds, etc., or is he planning on selling the future offspring? Isn’t he in it for the money then? Let’s call a spade a spade.

When I did this deal with you I really thought you had it going on? Is business that bad? When you were talking to Derek about my refund when did you plant to do this. I can't beelieve you don't have 11k becasue the consequnces are numerous and other people will be affected your friends. Plus are you this much of a chump and unprofessional thief? Let me expalin to you. I want you to go to the giant auto mall and get in and see the dealer. You won't even be able too. the dealer sells here. And if you met that guy in person in his office and were a fly on his wall you would be horrified but he gives the great prices on the cars and he guts his competition but I bet you buy your cars there? I am not like that. I am a great guy that has the business sense and deals with everybody. Find custom,ers that buy from me and hated the experience. you can't. Let's start doing searches on breeders here. You want to. Me cheap prices great quality that is it. Everyone else can't even come close. Don't buy from me and pay too much. How are you selling all of these animals?
Is it thru your website because I only see your ads on reptileauction and reptileforums.
Nothing here or on Kingsnake which are 2 of the largest places to get exposure for animals you have for sale.

I find it hard to believe that the you are making all of this money with hardly any advertising.

That is where people get upset. It's not about what you charge but the way you go about it. 1 million in sales in 20 days means you need to mass produce. No way can you produce that quantity and worry about specific pairings to make the best offspring possible.

My goal is to produce the best pastels, bees, ghosts, etc, and NORMALS that I can. Not to try and make as much cash in as short a period of time as I can.

The way you rant about the money and how many animals you can "dump" makes it appear that you think of these as money making items only and not animals. What was it? Oh yes. Your video calls BP's your "product".

The used car salesman, me, me, me attitude is what turns people off. Not the prices you charge.

If you like Joe or not, is not the point! Jasballs and Ed have called Joe names on this post that were personal, insulting and not called for on this forum. You have both shown how immature and spitefull you both are.

Joe has every right to share his experiences where someone has tried to screw him over on a business deal. Rather you like Joe or not or the fact that Joe is VERY successful is more of a personal dislike which smacks of jealousy.

Anyone who sells any animals to any clients and claims that they produced them, when in fact someone else produced them is a LIE. I know Joe and Wes and they are honest with their customers. If the fact that business as usual has now changed because of the impact that MKR has on the market, then so be it! Alot of people like MKR and they are more than pleased with doing business with Joe and Wes.

The guy that is holding onto Joe's money and not sending Joe his animals is the focus of this post.
