    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Last time I checked, all of MKR's buyers were volunteers. However he is tricking or seducing them into voting for his product with their money, my guess is that Joe is encountering multiple opportunities to meet or exceed his customer's expectations, or to short-change them. So far, where the rubber meets the road, he seems to have succeeded with the paying customers ... not to be confused with the idiots many become here when hiding behind their keyboards, with little or no business reputation on the line anyway, lest they make a total ass of themselves.

How is it that you produce the highest quality animals in the business? If your animals were better than everyone Else's in the world... wouldn't you need at least 2 or 3 generations of selective breeding to produce them??? How long ago did you start breeding Ball Pythons? 2002 ? I think you would need more time to produce the best! You are just reproducing what other people (NERD Ralph, Tracy, Colette, IAN, Bob, Mike, Greg, Brain, etc!) put there time and effort into making beautiful... You are riding on the coat tails of their hardwork! And being ungrateful for all the time other people have spent on a hobby and business they love.!

Very true Jim but I think a lot of the hostility towards MKR is not as a result of the pricing (although it did upset a lot of people) but more toward the arrogant manner that he presents himself.

A lot of the people posting are extremely selective of what animals they acquire and breed and do not like the Walmart business plan that MKR subscribes to.

When you have people who do not care about quantity but only producing the best quality they can (even if it is only 1 animal) and others who mass produce to bring prices down to a level where the casual hobbyist can afford morphs, there is bound to be conflict.

Myself, and I know of one other person, love bumblebees but not the super high price. We both bought pastels and spiders to make our own bumblebee.
I got into that codom project not to make money but to make the animal that I really want in my collection. It is the only way I can get one since I cannot afford the price of one.
Do I care if spiders and pastels drop? No. I bought those particular animals for one reason. Any additional offspring sold would be the icing on the cake. Will it take a lot longer to recoup the investment now with the prices they are? Sure. But I did not look at this as the way to make a quick buck but to get the animal I wanted that I could not afford outright.

Lower prices benefit a lot of the smaller people like me but they also hurt us. You don't even want to know how much my pastel was compared to what they sell for now. :ack2:

I think this is more about the way Joe presents himself than what the he charges. I also think he is out to ruin certain individuals that he has bad feelings for.

All that you say about the tiers within the ball python market are true within all facets of capitalist commerce. So you don't like Joe ...... don't buy from him !! But in the meantime, you and others have decided to use this thread about a real "steal of a deal", involvng a very large amount of money, and attack Joe cause you don't like him! The stupidity with which a few have attempted to hijack this thread is classic have-not's and can't-do's aimed at someone who has-done and can-do. Joe has to survive in the marketplace like the rest of us who play there, not to be confused with many who have posted here attacking Joe who aren't a pimple on his ass. This thread is about a $10K rip-off where Joe has shown enormous patience. Not even the TSE thread involved a single entity taken for $10K, and I don't think there's been one of this magnitude here in the BOI for months, if not longer.

I still really do believe that he dosent deserve to get ripped off and do hope he gets his money back...

But there has been a lot of build up with him lately... and now we can all chat with him about how we feel..

Thisi s Joe at MKR and you get aken for 10,000 and you tel me how you feel. I will bring the gecko industry single handedly if Mr. Plank doesn't give me my money. There is alot of unclaimed money fliowing in the gecko industry. Need I say more Mike? This is big business. Wether you like it or not I give the best deal and the best service. My animals are awesome and partner in unbelievable. Noone can even touch the custome satisfaction. Ask all mypast customers. With that beng said if he does it to me and I am the largest in balls. What is he going to do to you? How would you feel to be out 10k lied to by someone who is supposed to be an industry leader. He will soon find out. Alot of of people will. I will get my 11k you will see.

Let me get this straight. You are claiming to bring the gecko industry down because one guy ripped you off? The Clarks are willing to partner with you while you make claims to ruin the gecko industry. Why do you make statements that if they don't pay you back it will be bad for everyone? I understand being ripped off (if you doubt me, call me) but to threaten every one for one persons actions is unbelievable. If you made over 700k in sales why are you threatening an entire industry over 10k (I'm not excusing the ripping you off)?
 
Let me correct myself,
For the people that fly straight and pay everything properly that is they will be fine. I am not going to be screwed and stand idlely and let this go on. Sometimes peopes actions in industrys effect them. This is about someone taking money and not coming through who will wish he did after I am through.
