In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

A nice surprise!

This little girlie hatched out a couple of days ago. This picture is of her the day she hatched. A very nice surprise - since my 2 patternless females I bought to go with my super snow male didn't breed this season. This little gal came from a Super Snow / LV albino cross. I really, really like her and can't wait to see how she turns out.

This is my first season with patties - so I'm guessing the stripe will eventually disappear? Hope not!

Unless you have something really special on your hands, I would say yes. I've yet to see a patty keep it's markings (other than very faintly on the head)

Thanks! That's what I figured. To bad, I like the markings. But who knows - she may be a knockout adult.

I am sure that she will be a GORGEOUS Adult! Congrats on your new baby!!!!

Shelly, she's a beautiful little baby!! Congrats!
So, what's next? Do you plan to go for the patternless super-snow, or the LVPA snow? Decisions, decisions.... This is soooo much fun!! :D

I`de say it something pretty special , a Mack Patternless to be exact !

Beautiful Shelly !

well if you dont mind inbreeding,
since avalanche is already a definite het for patterbkess (proven by this female)
if you breed this female back to avalanche, 25% of the babies will be Super Snow Patternless. You already know what I think of that female :)

Oh yes - fun would be an understatement! Checking out the incubator each day is like Christmas every day. My goal will be to aim for a patternless super-snow.

Now this is where I am a bit unsure as to which way to go. I had originally planned to breed this whole group to each other (If I can manage to make a LV male) trying for a Mack LV Albino Snow. But this little patternless popped up (surprising the heck out of me) and I'm wondering which would be the best way to go..... breed her to her brother, or breed her to her father? I would really appreciate hearing all of your opinions!

I keep going out and staring at her - I'm gonnna give her a complex! :>poke2<:

Shelly , like Robert was saying the best results would come from Snow Patty X SS Het Patty . Could get around 25% SS Patties . Since Avalanche is only Het Patty , her brother may not be Het ( 50 % Possible Het) and would not be the best choice .

Also to use the outcrossed babies ,bred back to the father would be better than breeding the sibs . Correct me if im wrong someone ?

Unless i could hatch an unrelated male (from different mother) Snow Patty to breed to her , which would be best to escape inbreeding (of course youll get less combination morphs) , i would go with breeding to the father .

Now since she is also Het Rainwater if you wanted to just make a Snow PA (non super) instead then breed her to a RWPA and no inbreeding should be needed .

Hope this helps ! Decisions ,decisions !

Thanks Dan & Robert........I've decided I need 2 of them! Maybe another little Mack Pattie will hatch for continued fun and games next season :hehe:

Dan,
I once heard its worse as far as inbreeding goes to breed to the father, yet it was only once and I have no refrences. It would be neat to know....
Shelly, if you where to get a male patty snow from that same female you would have snow patties which are het albinos and be able to make SSLVPA
