In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

A whole new respect for BPs...

Well, I wouldn't go quite that far, but this was a first for me.
A familiar, and pleasing sight - don't you agree?

SPIDER BITE!!
And, yes, I was using 10" tweezers to feed...his aim was just a bit off (and he overshot by around 7 inches)

LMAO.... that just goes to show you that Harald is pretty accustomed to getting bit.

.... as he strolls from the snake room with a Ball completely engulfing his finger, Harald Moore counts each step as he stops by the kitchen for a cold soda and some chips. He then slowly and methodically makes his way to the family room where he decides to snap off a few pics before settling in to watch the evening news. Shortly there after Harald returns to the snake room removing the snake from his finger and placing it in its enclosure....

Well, he held on for a while - it gave me something to do while I was waiting, lol.
I thought about leaving the tweezers in for the pics, since they were trapped/wrapped, but I decided against it.

then, said freshly removed snake realizes his error as he is placed back in the cage, and promptly grabs the f/t rat that was his intended dinner

I think Harald holds the record for bite pics on fauna for sure! Has that spider been hanging out with your bulls????

I only post them because there is such a bloodthirsty lot here. At least I don't make a habit of posting feeding pics, lol.
Hanging out with bulls? As a matter of fact, until the day before that picture, he was sharing rack space with some of my growers.

Must be a conspiracy!

What I want to see is a full pic with Harald's face while he's getting abused by his snakes to make sure there's no grimacing going on.

There's always grimacing going on - it has nothing to do with my snakes...its just the way I look

Lol..... I am sure the expression varies depending on the snake involved. From "would you mind letting go now" to "OUCH YOU SONOFA MUTHA GOD....."

This time was a bit of a shock, I'll admit - as I said in the opening post, it was a first time experience. Not getting bitten by a BP, but having one grab and wrap my hand like that.
It takes a lot to impress me with a feeding bite, lol.
The initial response is fairly consistent, unless the antagonist is a baby...examples would be:
:censored: , oh :censored: , you little :censored:
Then, there is the pause, to see how intent they are in holding on.
For the holders on, the next statement is often - C'mon, I don't have time for this :censored: ...but, if I'm not in a rush, I decide what I am going to do while they are killing me. Sometimes, I continue feeding (or whatever I was doing), but that is sometimes limited by the fact that my left hand is basically retarded. Other times, I will either play dead or go off in search of a comfortable resting place. Typically, once the teeth are in, it hurts less to wait them out than to try to untwist them...
After anywhere from 5-10 minutes, I start to get bored - prompting the question: Are you done yet? Then frustrated: C'mon already, I've got things to do.

Oh - I just thought of something......
DEB!!!!!
Where the heck is she? She get's all mouthy about a bullsnake bite, then clams up when its a darned BP at the end of my hand.
<bellows> DEB!!!!

Yes?? Screaming does NOT work..now that little nudge that you gave was more effective, no?

LMAO!!

He wasn't trying to get YOU, Harald, you were in the way.

Way to stay cool, Harald..baby!! You rock!

hee hee, ya got balls!! lol

When one of mine latchs on, I put my hand with them attached under cold running water. BP's usually let go immediately. Corns usually have to think about it a bit.

Aye, Harald..there's the rub.

BPs don't mean to bite...in my opinion..(humble) the rest of them intend to take a chunk out of the person messing with them.
