This time was a bit of a shock, I'll admit - as I said in the opening post, it was a first time experience. Not getting bitten by a BP, but having one grab and wrap my hand like that.
It takes a lot to impress me with a feeding bite, lol.
The initial response is fairly consistent, unless the antagonist is a baby...examples would be:

Then, there is the pause, to see how intent they are in holding on.
For the holders on, the next statement is often - C'mon, I don't have time for this

...but, if I'm not in a rush, I decide what I am going to do while they are killing me. Sometimes, I continue feeding (or whatever I was doing), but that is sometimes limited by the fact that my left hand is basically retarded. Other times, I will either play dead or go off in search of a comfortable resting place. Typically, once the teeth are in, it hurts less to wait them out than to try to untwist them...
After anywhere from 5-10 minutes, I start to get bored - prompting the question: Are you done yet? Then frustrated: C'mon already, I've got things to do.
