    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I think you've said it all right there.

Those two animals are still emaciated even after being in your competent care! Frankly, they look too far gone at this point to recover (IMO) ... and it is all due to Sydney's neglect and lack of proper care. And I ain't buying the "confiscated from a friend" line, either.

Aside from her lack of ethics and honesty, yes .... heartless and cruel is deserved.
 
Wow. No animal in the world deserves to be treated like they are worthless. Sometimes I wish the same could happen to people for what they do to their animals. How can anyone look at a poor defenseless animal and not feel sorry for them and not want to help them and take care of them? The people that only care about a quick buck are pathetic and shouldn't be allowed to have any pet animal, not even a Goldfish. Hell, I wouldn't even let this woman near my Goldfish Crackers.
 
The male has never looked like that ever i thought it was the female at first one of these i sent to Amy and the rest we just picture that i took the day Amy asked for pictures. I don't understand why this is all about the female the male looks terrible. He never looked like that when i had him. Im not saying anything bad about your care!! But holy shit had i known the male looked like that this would not have been an issue. When you said he was looking dark i thought you ment like the last pic

I agree with meg on this one. I would just keep them and use the refunded money for the vet bills that are going to occur. At this point who even knows if they'll survive without being shipped. I personally wouldn't risk it. I feel so horrible for the chams. Poor babies :( And I'm sorry this all happened to you Alee. Even with the money back, it's still a crappy situation.
 
i am not changing my story at all i did confiscate them but he didn't just let me take them! I also have 4 people that are unrelated and hardly know me that saw him the day i put him in the box, also the ups person at the front desk.
 
i know what healthy chameleons look like thank you for the reference though. As i stated before i have never seen the male that way and i think the male is more in need of care than the female is

My suggestion would be -- Sydney, reimburse the difference in the value of these animals, and the value you put on them as the wrong locales. WC "mutt" chams generally retail in stores for about $49 each. So say the value of these guys is $100 for the pair (and that's EXTREMELY generous). Reimburse Amy the 700 balance, since they're NOT Nosy Falys, and give up any claim to them. Let her keep them, and she can use that money to pay their vet bills. These animals won't handle shipping again, not like they are now.

You're still talking about wanting them shipped back to you. The shipping will kill them. Let them stay in her care, especially if you're about to move again out of country.

Yes, that is how he looks when I hold him and when he goes to sleep. Otherwise, he is very dark during the day. He is eating some crickets, drinking, and pooping, although his poop is loose.
 
Okay, thanks, Amy. I just wanted to be sure that I wasn't confused by his normal sleeping/fired colors vs. daytime colors.

Right, but you still have the $800 that you should send back to Pay Pal. You misrepresent the chams for sale, gave a 5 day health guarantee and bailed on that. Your word is worthless. I bet you are bullshiting on your job/living situation also. Everytime you post, you contradict yourself. You are a very lousy, shameless con artist. Now Alee has to deal with the care of those chameleons, and some of us responsible caregivers know how expensive can get...and by the way you write you are probably ugly too :ack2:
