    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy AC Reptiles - Anthony Caponetto VERY HARASSING! etc

Do the other Anthony Caponettos keep reptiles? And Kansas City is probably much larger than Northville, NY. Also, John's silence on the matter speaks volumes. I think a few people on this thread have shown their true colors.

I doubt Mr Moore will respond. Intentional or not, he tried to get over on Mr. Caponetto and got called on it. One for the "Do not deal" list.

Posting Mr Moore's home phone and address on facebook was a scumbag move. AC Reptiles goes to the list, also.
 
Actually, the attempt to pull one over was obviously intentional. Whether he set out to do that is what I meant by "intentional or not..."

It's a new world out there, and it isn't changing for the better. A few years ago, ajc's antics wouldn't have flown anywhere. The facebook generation loves that stuff, and it's becoming commonplace. And people wonder why I hate the marketplace....
 
Yeah and this would be why I have Anthony blocked on my Facebook. He always does anything he can to pick fights. I tried complementing him on how organized he is and all i said was "I personally wouldn't do it that way, but if it works for you, then good job :)" and this was his response:
"Dude, seriously - you come on my page spouting off about how you'd never keep geckos the way I do, and now you're telling me I'm rude for asking you questions about how you came to such conclusions.
If you can't back up your posts with science and facts, then maybe you have not commented at all. We put a LOT of thought into how we raise our babies, and it's not fair for me to have to defend our way of doing things every time someone like you sees a photo and thinks they should impart some of their wisdom on me."

He said a lot more than that, but i would rather not post that due to how vulgar it is… I'm sorry you had to go through this :( Anthony is nothing but an asshole who tries to pick fights, and when he knows he's wrong he just goes and posts particular messages in a conversation publicly to make it seem like the other person is the bad guy. I hope you get everything figured out! Good luck!
 
What saddens me is that I was rooting for John... until the Facebook photos were posted. John, unless you have a twin also named John you absolutely lied, and started the ball rolling. As someone who is new to the reptile game, I rely on the BOI to check out websites of breeders to learn about other species. John almost made Anthony look good for a second there.

There are no winners here.

The BOI is not the place to discuss/debate how this site is run (disruptive and off topic to the thread. Also, keep in mind that antagonism toward a moderator is not tolerated - so, if you address your concerns in the Feedback Forum, keep it constructive.
Hopefully, you appreciate that you were taken out without prior warning - er...threat - by me, since you obviously objected to ajc receiving notice that continuing his line of posting was likely to get him banned.

I don't think how the seller handled it is ok.. paied or not.. but the complaint is not the seller.. but the buyer.. "I" DID pay, I have proof.. an feel harassed.. because of a disagreement on this.. so show proof! please..

Wow ... twenty pages to get to the simple and obvious solution :) OP provide proof of payment and AJC acknowledge and apologize (over in two pages) .... at this point I feel neither is likely to happen.

Yes but two pages leaves little room for the drama,Anthony Caponetto loves being able to let us all know how superior to everyone he is.in his mind he has elevated himself to God status. how dare you present him with a problem with the quality or pricing of one of his geckos.he ignored me for years trying to see if we could come to some sort of agreement. well 5 minutes after I post in this thread I get a threatening call from Anthony.he still has not addressed the problem.
