Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

In the course of exactly fifteen minutes...Adam went from saying he would pay the amount next week...along with a $2000 dollar credit...to not honoring any of it...
Matt made valid points...I stated it earlier...he didn't agree to shipping at the end of September, he wasn't given a choice...it's Wednesday where I live...why wait until NEXT Monday...if you have the money like you say you do...and you are going to pay him...do it NOW...or if you have to arrange a ride...do it TOMORROW...why make the guy wait any longer??
If you do NOT offer him a refund...you WILL be found fraudulent by the courts...as well as the credit card company...he sent you payments...paid it earlier than the agreed payment schedule and STILL has not received his refund OR his merchandise.
You have both...and are now refusing to give him either...that IS grand theft...a felony...and could result in PRISON time...
All over your stubborn pride...can't admit that you are wrong...
Too bad...seems like you could have been a great guy to deal with...until you decided that being right in your own mind is more important than doing good business...

The only reason I was stickiing to my guns is because Matt and I spoke about the shipping delay and he was fine with it. Just like I was fine with waiting 60 days for my full payment. This is something that nobody is grasping.
And what YOU are not grasping is that he should not have to wait for you to sell ANYTHING to receive a refund. Also, it did not look like you ASKED or he AGREED to this either, you basically TOLD HIM and offered no other alternative. As the seller you should have taken the initiative to handle this matter appropriately. You should have shipped as promised, and when you failed to do this and a refund was requested for an item you never provided you should have sent a prompt refund. Your TOS or BS policy as you have continuously quoted did not apply, this is what you do not understand. You continue to miss this concept. There is no return or sales policy because you failed to supply your customer with his purchase. Yes, there was delays..... But when he was expecting you to follow through with when you said you WOULD ship, you did not. And YOU failed to read your emails and correspondence. You failed miserably in both venues. To complicate matters , rather than be a good guy and attempt to resolve the problem as quickly as possible, you waited until it became public knowledge only to defend a non-defendable position. Again, attempted to provide a lame reason for paying back a customer , first after 30 days, and now by next week.
When does a payback occur with" no strings attached" ? Did it ever occur to you to send an apology , relate it as a misunderstood dealing and assure the recipient that his monies will be refunded immediately. Did it ever occur to you that your actions, apparently from all the 100 plus threads provided some information that maybe you were wrong in your approach in dealing with this matter. Did it ever occur to you that if anyone ever comes here and does a search with your name, that you will be shamed.
Finally did it ever occur to you that you were sending him his own money back and that you were loosing nothing because you never shipped anything in the first place, even as of this writing. Its unfortunate that people like yourself end up drifting to the herp business. I haven't been a member that long but this is one of the more interesting threads I have read on here. I'm actually anxious to see if Matt gets his dinero on Monday. The cash on the table sounds pretty convincing so I am going to say Matt gets his money back when stated. So who's laying out odds? I need a clarification. Maybe that refers to some ghastly surgical procedure done to men who have suffered the most humiliating of industrial accidents, but I think that the proper word here is ridiculous.
