    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I too was under the impression that an extra $500 was going to be included as a voluntary fee for borrowing Matt's money, and to cover some of the additional costs which Matt had to bear, such as the loss of some work, etc. Under the circumstances, my guess is that Matt will be satisfied once the $2600 is secure in his account. Hope that all entities are happy by week's end.

From a post way, way back, from Adam, saying why and how Matt's money was spent, it is clear that Matt has given Adam a no interest loan for 100 days or so. When someone says it is not about the money, it always is. Adam, if you had any business sense, you would not have let this drag out. Your actions, or lack there of, were totally unacceptable. What ever happened to the Boa, she give birth yet? She sell, what? The only thing left to do is pencil you in on my bad guy list, not sure if you will be one spot above, or one spot below the fake Pied sellers in Carolina.

I am sure that those of us who have taken a conern to this episode will be glad to hear Matt's conclusion. But, IMO, and apparently that of others, things still seem to be a bit in the "day late, dollar short" mode that has characterized this entire event. I am not into boas and will never have occasion to even consider doing business with Adam, but as someone who takes the time to contribute (or pollute, take your pick) in this forum, I am still chagrined at Adam's problem resolution, his analysis of what his customers should be content with, the self-engrandisement as if he hasn't erred, and the trumpeting of what appears in the end to be a simple refund which is long overdue. My characterization is that he was pulled kicking and screaming to issue that simple refund, and after his posts of today, he still left himself wide open for ridicule. Perhaps one more example of how NOT to do the right thing, although I am hopeful that both he and Matt move on to enjoy great success with whatever they choose to do.
 
Adam has been bashed pretty hard as it is. I think that until Matt responds or Adam post a pic of the check, then there is really no futher to go. Adam has shown he is a brick wall that is difficult to move, if he has decided to pay by check and not 1,500 CC return and the balance check than that has become his prerogative. I do not condone him changing things up after his promise, but that is what he has done.

We all know that Adam has stolen the money, even though he sees it as Matt bought the snake anyways so he need to sell it for Matt. We get that he does not want to comply with reality and would rather be "right". I am awaiting for Matt to reply that he did get his money and this is over. We all have learned the importance of business and customer service just from what was experienced here.

It is evident that when Matt receives his money there are those that are going to be upset over how Matt was paid. Matt has his money though it was way over due, do we than bash Adam for his method of payment?
 
Hey Mike, we're just trading slightly different opinions and yet we agree on many things. As to your question at the end, let me say that if others want to post their lack of appreciation for any of Adam's actions and words here, I am not going to waste my key strokes telling them that they shouldn't. Its enough as it is for me to take the time to post as I do. I don' think that Adam's means of payment is the issue, if were able to stand alone. It is more an issue of comparing his actions with what he either overtly stated, or implied, that he would do in light of what he has now claimed to have done. As I characterized in my earlier post, he did not do much to endear sympathy in any one of his chosen actions, but rather his contempt at every turn has invited ridicule. If people still feel a need to bash him, either because of his earlier posts, or now his recent posts as to how he has solved it all, and whether or not he is still coming up short, my own opinion is that he has once again left himself exposed to such ridicule. As an example, there have been at least a half dozen relevent and respectful questiopns posed to him throughout this thread that he chose not to answer. He has no obligation to answer, but it only exposes him to more negative conclusions and continued negative posts. I am sincere in hoping that he moves on well from this, and expect it to be history in short order.
 
Jim, I agree. Thank you for the opinions you have expressed, I do enjoy your posts. I do hope this is all settled shortly and we can all leave here knowing Matt has received his money. I do hope this will change a few things for Adam as well as Matt in their business dealings with others. This has sure opened my eyes.
 
Clearing things up for certain people.

This board is pretty funny. It is amazing how people who have no involvement with the transaction continue to try and bash me.

For those of you who have quoted me and posted up my thread where I explained how I would refund Matt his $1500. through cc and the rest in cash as I was advised to do from my processing company. I just want to make it clear that I spoke to Matt this morning and he gave me his cc to refund. I had problems refunding it through my terminal and told Matt that I would just send him a check for the full amount, so I could keep my word and have him his money out on Monday. So he AGREED. A word most of you do not understand yet! He also said he would call the cc company and tell them that he got his money and for them not to dispute the cc transaction. So for those who are so concerned now about how Matt was paid, hopefully you can sleep tonight.

First I was a bad guy for sticking to my terms and now that I have paid him, there are still those who have to continue to talk trash just to create more stur....

At this point I can care less what the board has to say. Matt is paid his money and I honestly thing you sharks should go create some stur on another board. I think this one is a little played out. This situation is old and I think Matt is satified with the outcome. He got his money.

If Matt is not satisfied I think he should be the one on the board creating problems, not all of you who have no involvement in the situation what so ever.

My reputation in this business is pretty good and it really does not matter to me what threats are put up on this board. For those who will not do business with me that is fine. You do not have to, but for some strang reason I do not think you were going to do business with us anyway. Even before this BOI post when we had not, had even a single complaint.

I truely beleive that the same people who are responding to this BOI post here are the same people who respond to just about every BOI post on this site. I have looked at some of the names that have posted and have seen them on every board. Do you guys even own animals. Or do you just like to create contaversy?

Easy there, Slugger. The fact that people are active in the online reptile community shouldn't be interpreted negatively. It also shouldn't be assumed that the only people reading this are the ones that posted. Whatever you write here, Adam, is read by thousands of people. You can assume that the majority opinions of the posters are the majority opinions of the readers, based on statistics alone. Since not a single person agreed with your handling of the situation (at least, not prior to your agreement to return the full amount of money), not even those that had previous good transactions with you, you'll be surprised at how many customers and potential customers will use this thread as a frame of reference when choosing to do business in the future.

You may have wonderful animals. Those that I saw at Daytona were impressive indeed. Yet, I didn't see anything that wasn't offered somewhere else for relatively the same price. When that is the situation, what factors do you think buyers weigh out before deciding whom they will purchase from? You might want to give that some additional thought.

You may have wonderful animals. Those that I saw at Daytona were impressive indeed. Yet, I didn't see anything that wasn't offered somewhere else for relatively the same price. When that is the situation, what factors do you think buyers weigh out before deciding whom they will purchase from? You might want to give that some additional thought.


I am glad that saw our animals at Daytona and thought they were impressive. But I am sorry to say that Millennium Morphs was not even there. So I do not know what animals you were looking at, and to even make a comment that we have what everyone else has is rediculous. You obviously do not even know the animal that we have and your are making comments about them. I am sorry, but I do not understand how you can make those comments.
We were at Daytona with the pet store, not our reptile company.......For those who will ask why we said we were packing for Daytona and real busy.

These are the comments that alot of people are making. Comments that are from left feild. People are looking at emails between us and filling in the blanks. Fabricating things to side with the small guy who got robbed from the big bad Millennium Morphs guy. That is not how it was.

Once again, I will explain ourselves and let everyone know that there was no delay in reality. We agreed to ship (After Daytona) the beginning of September OVER THE PHONE, and Matt was completely fine with it. I figured if we agreed on the shipping that there would be no problems. Everyone keeps saying that it is now october and he still has not received his animal. And are making it look like it has been from Daytona until now that we have not shipped. I must add that the very first week of september like agreed upon, I was sending his animal out and he refused it asking for a refund. We disussed this over the phone as well. He once again agreed OVER THE PHONE and in email that I would sell the animal and then give him his money back, because we do not give cash refunds. He was fine with that. Then there was a post on the BOI.

And now he has his full refund check coming to him. We said we would get it out to him Monday and that is what we did.

So how people could call us dishonest , liers , or what ever else they have called us is beyond me. We stuck to our word and were honest from the very get go.



We agreed to take payment over a 60 day period and said we would have no problem with it....and we did

We asked Matt if it would be a problem if he could wait until after Daytona, he siad no problem........................and thats what we tried to do (until he said he needed his cash back)

We then told him we do not offer cash refunds ...................and we do not

We then told him we could try selling the animal for him and immediately give him his money back................and thats what we tried doing

We then got attacked on the BOI, which was uncalled for and then told him that we would send him his money on MONDAY.........and we did



So for thoose who might say we do not stick to our word or might be dishonest, or something else negitave....I really do not understand......

Anyway, hopefully Matt is happy and some of the people on this board can finally move on. This has been a very popular thread. Lets all move on.
 
Adam, then you have my apologies. I was fairly certain that I was looking at a Millenium Morphs business card on a table with some very high end ball pythons. I even commented to my husband that in 1999 there were a zillion "Millenium" names on everything, and you see very few of them now. That's why it stuck in my mind.

I would like to make a comment in response to Adam's post above. Adam, once again you try to put the blame on me by saying that I agreed to shipping after Daytona and then I backed out when you tried to ship in the beginning of September. Go back and read the emails posted. You gave me a one line email saying can't ship, busy with Daytona. Then the next email I received from you was on September 15, saying you were out of town and that you would ship the following Monday which would have been September 19. This is one month after Daytona! I don't see how you were keeping your end of the deal at all. This pissed me off that I didn't hear back from you once between August 18 and September 15. You didn't return my calls or emails. Then you finally sent an email stating you would ship and then no animal arrived and this cost me a half day's work. I'm a mechanical engineer, so it's not like this is just a few dollars. Did you really expect me not to back out of the deal after all of this? Also, you never told me there were no cash refunds. Your TOS does say it, but I don't consider this a refund since you really just stole my money and made interest on it.

Now for everyone else. Adam claims he sent a check and told me he would email me a photo of it. I have not received the photo yet, but hopefully Adam sent the money. I will update the board when it arrives.

Matt, sorry your right it was the 15 th of september not the first week, but that what we argeed upon over the phone. Should I pull my phone records. Are you saying we did not speak at all over the phone. I am not trying to make myself look good. I am just explaining why the ship date was for september and you agreed on it.

Your money is on its way and that is all. You have your refund. Lets let it go. This situation is getting old. Now that you got your refund lets end. We obviously will not see eye to eye, and that the way it will have to be.

This situation was a big lesson learned, and hopefully the rest of the board will also let it go.

Take care and remember to post when the check has cleared and you have your money back.

I do not know you, do not know your business, and it is hard to tell things, important things about a person over the internet. You cannot see the person's body language, hear the tone of their voice, etc. I can see, however, that you feel you are correct in this matter, and that virtually nobody else does. Doesn't that make you wonder, and rethink your stance? This thread really reminds me of a Neil thread from a few years ago, where he took a hard stance, everyone and their mother told Neil he was in the wrong, Neil eventually did the right thing, BUT IT TOOK WAY TOO LONG. If you fail to do the right thing immediately, the good will that comes from eventually doing the right thing is lost. It is kind of like saying I am sorry, and really not meaning it. Anyways, the BOI groupies are not always correct, and some threads are 50/50, in favor of the plaintiff and defendant, but when you are being told by everyone that you are in the wrong, you need to wake up alot sooner than you did man. I think your practice of spending money prior to delivery should be re examined. Maybe we can meet at the Anaheim show one day, I am curious as to what you are like in person.
