In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Adam at Millenium Morphs...give me my money

Adam,

Glad to hear you mailed the check, hope to hear from Matt that it clears.

That said, are you going to be rethinking your TOS ? Or may-be start to make sure everything is talked about in e-mails, and not over the phone?

When most people think of how to right out there TOS, I'm sure they try to think of everything that can happen, and cover it. I think it goes with out saying this situation was not thought of, and I would like to know if it will have any change on the way you do things.

One thing I've noticed about Adam is his location as Long Island, NY. It's probably rude of me to share that my impression of most people from LI is that they are "short, down to business", can be rather abrupt etc. That being said, I do understand Adam's position and can see just how he got himself in hot water over this situation. He thought he was handling business and since Matt seemed amiable in their phone conversations he missed his cue to get this snake shipped and that his buyer was getting anxious.

I think that sometimes people with many snakes over many years can forget how anxious new owners are to get their new animals asap....

I do not believe that Adam had intentionally meant to cause Matt any grief at all. Sadly he did cause a lot of grief though. It appears to me as soon as he realized he had a problem, he put actions in motion to try to make things better. New Yorkers see things differently, I think Adam has handled this situation very well considering his handicap!

Matt, I'm sorry you had to wait so long.... if I had been in your shoes, I probably would have started causing a ruckus a bit sooner. Unless the weather was prohibiting the shipment of your snake, in fairness I'd say up to 10 days past Daytona would have qualified in my book for an, "I'm too busy now, have to wait till after Daytona" time delay. Anything after that was unreasonable without good cause.

I hope that the refund check is in your hands very soon and that this will help put this transaction behind you both.

Off the topic... it is probably against the terms of use with CC company to refund in cash/check. In effect he gets a $1500 cash loan off his CC receiving the refund this way. Since it was agreed to by both parties I don't see the harm, but wouldn't recommend it in the future for sure.

Luvchondros......well put

I have to agree with you 100%....That is pretty much how it went down, and you are right about NY's. Sometimes we can be a little abrupt. I do appologize to those who feel that way, it is not intended for us to come off like like that. Maybe it is the fast pase that we are used to.

Another comment you had made about people getting new snakes and being excited about receiving them is correct as well. I honestly took it for granted and thought is was no big deal about the dealy. Matt made is seem like was ok.

I tried to handle it as best as possible. I have refunded his money and on top of that offered and extra $500. in cash or an extra $2k in credit on animals. I thought that was MORE than fair. I also offered $500 - $1,000. in credit to people who have read this thread and were offended in any way, to show our appologies. 3 people have already contacted us in regards to that and will be working something out very shortly.

Thanks for understanding the situation and putting a good idea of what took place clearly on the BOI....Hopefully people will relate to that.....

Have a great day

David Reid.....I understand your point but.....

You are right to a point.....And yes I would love to meet you in person at a show. Trust me, you will have a much different opinion of me.

I have NO ENEMIES in the business. I am very passive and do the right thing toward my customers. Dembinski put up a post of how our business transactions went down. That is normally how we operate.

The problem with this situation was that we honestly felt we were not in the wrong and that Matt was wrong by coming to the BOI before letting us no. He seemed fine with the shipping delay and it was no big deal, then he seemed fine when we told him our terms of no cash refunds, and he said he will wait until I sell the animal. He then changed his mind and told us he thought it was not fair for him to wait. It was almost like when we were talking to him everything was ok, then we got off the phone, he spoke to someone else and they told him to demand his money and go to the BOI.
That is why we were being so stern on our policies. But we obviously did not want this little situation to get worse than it already was and we di dmore than the right thing. And thats why we had made commented about good guys finishing last and what not. Because we honestly felt that way.

So hit the nail on the head when saying that it is hard to understand and get a good reading of someone over the internet. That is 100% true. It is extremely hard to judge someone from email or a forum. I hate to type, make mistakes whie typing and do not express myself well over the internet. I am old school, I like the old ways, not this internet crap. But I do understand that this is the wave of the future and that is why we are trying our best to learn computers. But just to make our self clear, we are not the people we have been portraid to be.

Hopefully more than you can see that. Thank you for the response to this thread. .....

Have a good one

Wow Adam

I'm impressed, even if you are from New York (sorry couldn't resist) From what I've read you've handled your self very well. You've earned your stay here. Welcome to fauna and the BOI!!

Hopefully we will never read another thread about your company except as a good guy. Take care and good luck in your future ventures.

While I dont know Adam from well, Adam, I do have a few friends who have done business with him in the past.

As such when I seen this post appear I figured I would check it out. I have to say you have gone above and beyond the call of duty in your attempts to make this right, not sure I would have gone as far, but thats your choice.

Everything I have ever heard about Adam has been NOTHING BUT GOOD. Everything I have ever heard about his animals has been NOTHING BUT GOOD. And for me the icing on the cake is Joe D's experience with him, this alone tells me that hes a stand up guy. Im happy to see things will likely come to an end on this one.

Mickey TLK ....Thank you and

Thank you very much for that last post. I do appriciate it. I always try to do my very best to please my customers. The situation with Matt was the first we have ever been in and I hope the last. It was a frustrating situation becuase I felt he was wrong due to the phone converstations and the fact that the shipping delay was no big deal to him in the begining. That is the only reason why we were sticking to our terms. Anyway, enough about that situation, hopefully he is happy now and to be honest, I would have done even more to make the situation right if I had to. It began to be a matter of defending our company toward the end. I was very frusrtated throughout this whole entire post. I have never had a negative thing said about my company and when it started happening and I could not prove my point, That is when I decided to make the BOI happy and pay him to end it. I still beleive that we did nothing wrong, due to the converstations me Matt and I had, but I wanted to do the right thing for the BOI to show them that they have no idea what they are talking about when they post negative things about our company.
So to be perfectly honest if I had to give him $5,000. in credit I would have.
We have been getting emails daily just like the one you sent us. People have been taking advantage of the $500. - $1,000. credit that we had offered to all the people who have read the thread and felt like we might be as bad as we were made out to be. And many people are happy with what we have done to resolve the issue. I am glad you are too. I am also glad to hear that you have heard nothing but good about out company. Trust me, when you need something we will take care of you. Thank you once again.......

LAURA COX thank you and

I am very pleased to hear you feel that way. Trust me I honestly have never done a customer wrong and as I have said in the past, that was the first negative post since our company has existed. Thank you, I truely mean that.....That $500-1000 applies to you to hun...............

Adam really never had to go above and beyond "the call of duty"......all he had to do was refund Matt his money that was due......I am sure Adam is a nice guy and stuff happens but the way this whole transaction was handled was probably not the best way to show character.

A good philosophy to have is treat every customer the way you want to be treated and everything should fall into place. If you don't agree with the customer or you find they are at fault do your best to remedy the situation as best as you can without getting all the bad publicity. There are exceptions to the rule, ie if the customer is completely obnoxious, etc. I don't see that in this instance, I see someone that was very patient and had a right to do what he did after trying unsuccesfully in private to remedy the situation. Matt has handled this situation respectfully and hopefully it will come to an end shortly.

MILLENNIUM MORPHS.......must read !

I just want to introduce myself to those who may not know me or may not have read the horrible thread ....(Adam from Millennium Morphs give me mymoney)...

I am the owner of Millennium Morphs Inc. , and have recently been posted on the BOI for a transaction that did not go so well. I have argued my point long enough, so I will not do that anymore. What I want to do in this post is explain to those who have not understood the situation or felt different about the situation than we did, that we do appologize. We have been in business for many years and have always done right by our customers. That is our number one goal. And for several years we have doen nothing but that. We have always worked hard and have done nothing less than pamper our animals and customers as well. Things have been a little hectic around here lately, because of many reasons. The first reason is our new retail pet store. It has taken up aot of our time and is not as esay to operate as it seems. The second reason is due to a serious amount of construction that we have done over the last year and a half on our reptile facility (expanding and all). And the third reason is the amount of time I have been focusing on our sports photography company. Between the three business and being involved in real estate, we have been a little over whelmed. Not to sound like we are making excuses, because I am not. These are the choices I have made in life. My point is, I have noticed that I need to settle down a bit and focus more on the business that has always done right by me. That is Millennium Morphs. Not to say we have been neglecting the business or our customers, but there just has not been enough time in the day to give 100% to all of them. The last situation that was involving Matt would have never happened if we would have not been to busy to ship in August. Even though HE AGREED on the shipping delay, the situation would have never come up. That is mainly what I am getting at. So from this point on I am making a promise to dedicat more time to the business that I love most of all. The reptile business.
And I want to thank all the emails I have received over the last couple of days letting me know that I still have a ton of customers that wil stand by me. Thank you to the large number of people who have emailed us letting us know that they like how we have handled the situation, and thank you to the new customers that have taken advantage of the $500-1000 credit that we had offered. It means alot to us that you were willing to purchase animals from us, despite the trash that was being said about us. That shows us alot.
I also want to thank the dozen or so people who have called us over the last couple of days in regards to the situation. We will remember you always. And trust me we will always take of you in the future when it comes time to purchase your next animal.

Thank you very much !!!!!!!!!!!!

Bthacker...thank you , now youare sounding a little better.

Thank you .....I understand your point. It was a bad situation and trust me we will never be in one like it again......

This is definitely not the proper place for this. If there is already an existing thread, that it where it belongs.

Adam

If you would like it to survive the evening, I would copy and paste your post on this thread into the original thread on the topic. This thread probably has minutes at best left before the mods lock or delete it

I am glad to see this is how you really feel. After all is done and you send the money, it was only in attempts to cool things here. Is this how you care for your customers?

I was beginning to see things in a positive light for you. Now I am unsure again. Or is this the New York in you speaking out of spite and not from your heart?

and thank you to the new customers that have taken advantage of the $500-1000 credit that we had offered.

Huh?

Where did that come from and why didn't you just add this to the other thread so it would be easier for people to read about the whole ordeal in one thread?

Brett

I in no way meant to imply that Matt had done anything wrong.

I originally had a little statment about Matt in my post, but decided to delete it. I dont know Matt personally either, but have exchanged a few emails, and he seems to be a good guy as well.

I think this whole thing was just a bad situation that got worse, but hopefully has come to a good end. I hope he (Adam) learns a bit from it and everyone moves on.
