In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Did Adam send out personal PMs to anyone here? I got the notion that those who agreed with his side he sent out a personal PM about his personal "discount" offer. Maybe I am wrong, hopefully I am wrong.

Well, I made a mistake in an earlier post. Matt hasn't been logged since 10/27. He might not be around, and that's why we haven't heard if the check arrived or not. My apologies for that.

While I do not agree with Adam's business approach or how he has dealt with this situation, I did not come to the BOI to ruin his reputation. I simply came here to try and get some action on his part since I was not getting anywhere on my own. Since the animal wasn't even posted for sale, who knows how long I would have been waiting for a refund if I didn't post here. I would like to thank everyone for their support and opinions in this matter, and as long as the check clears, I consider this matter closed. I will not bad mouth Adam as this thread will be here for everyone to make their own decisions about doing business with him.

Anyhow, I received a check from Adam for $2600 on Friday afternoon. I will be depositing it this afternoon and will update this thread again when it clears.

Don't have reason to expect otherwise, but I don't think the covers are being tucked in until the check clears. Hope its a deep sleep afterwards.

when you receive that check in that amount , dont deposit it, put it in for collection through your bank. It will get paid faster and checks that go through collection bypass the federal reserve bank and go directly to the issuing bank. Paperwork is also included which could be used to show whether the monies were or were not their at the time the check was written. The bank becomes your witness. Hope all goes well. JERRY

Glad you finally are able to put this one away. It is too bad that you had to come here to get this resolved.......It could have been resolved a long time ago with a lot less frustration, but at least it's over with.

good to hear, hopefully the seller learned something from this and future issues with this seller will be resolved correctly instead of leaving their customers with no choice but to come here and force their hand into doing the right thing.

About a month or 2 ago Matt Crabe had came to the BOI with a rediculous story on how Millennium Morphs was not refunding $2600. to him for an animal that he had purchased on a payment plan that he wanted a refund on. Most of you know the story. Important information was not mentioned from Matt regarding our telephone conversations, which made us look like we could have been wrong. Despite the missing information, we refunded Matt his money in full. We paid him in the form of a check, in the amount of $2600. That was the full amount refunded. He then called the credit card company and got them to refund his credit card an additional $1500. Because that is how he made one of his payments. He promised us if we refunded him in the form of a check he would not try to get the money back through the credit card company. Well sure enough he got his full refund in the form of a check and still proceeded with the credit card company and never told them that we gave him a refund in the form of a check and has scammed us out of $1500.... The board would not believe us when we tried to defend ourselves and we just wanted to let the BOI know that he has managed to scam an extra $1500 from us......I had a feeling this was going to happen but we were getting abused on the BOI so we just send him a check immediately to resolve the situation and end it all. Sure enough we wound up getting screwed. But trust me it is not over......I will be at Matt's door Monday morning if this does not get resolved immediately.......
This situation proves that each situation that appears on the BOI should be read and judged very carefully. In all the years we have been in business, we have never screwed someone out of money. Matt Crabe came to the BOI accusing us of doing wrong just to get a refund he did not deserve. He probably needed the money back for something and figured if he tried to hurt our reputation on the BOI, we would give him a refund so we would not have people look at our company in a bad way. AND HE WAS RIGHT. That is exactly what we did. Just to make everyone on the BOI happy, we refunded his money against our wished and sure enough we got screwed.....
Be careful of people like this. And dont beleive everything you hear. Sometimes stories and not 100% true.
