Adam, just so you know Paypal wont cover you at all when the item is a live animal. But I agree with your concern over shipping to an unconfirmed address, seems to me that it is rather fast and easy to have ones address confirmed with paypal. I understand about the CC thing I've had it happen to me when buying.

Rick I agree with Laura you type as if English isn't your first language. And this isn't a book in business first impressions matter a great deal. Whether English is or isn't your first language isn't something I'd knock you for but can't say as I liked yours or Donna's response to Laura's post not cool at all. Also this thread is here to stay you can ask all you want but it will be here as long as this site is around. Glad you guys have worked this issue out... Randy

Well prior to this Pay Pal issues occurred on the small deposits they put in was not seen on any of the statements. The small deposits were then confirmed and all is cleared on that side of things. Adam had very good reason on not shipping prior however it very well should of been spoke about prior to expedite some things and if so, none of this would of proceeded until this was done. Maybe the language is not up to par by any means. Adam and I will remain in close contact with each other more so as friends and like he pointed out business relations over time. Regarding our post to laura, well I don't want to get into a Political dispute as with alot of different members have their favoritism and clicks sort of speak , it was a indirect political attack and you very well know that and we are not game for that period. Laura and I both have apologized and I praised her for her last post and I meant that. Its fine to point out specifics to a certain degree and I praise her for doing so, but when that degree crosses borders on comparison issues, then there is a problem. Questions are always a very good thing in which I agree and should always be responded to in a peaceful measure.

I don't know what Adam means by unconfirmed shipping address, as our address is on our paypal account and our account is verified through our Bank.

As to my response to Laura, I didn't want to seem to come across rude but she did try pulling us to pieces with various info she pulled up. I am sorry Laura if I offended you, I just didn't see all that info you posted relevant to this thread.

I also want to apologise to Adam for starting this thread, some things in life we do and then regret later, I just wish I had never even started this, I am glad you and Rick sorted your differences.

My feelings about taking payments on snake is I don't do it, It is easy to get a credit card now days and you can buy the snake you want and make payments to your creditor. I am not a creditor. I also do not hold snakes. It is a first come first sever business. I felt forced in to holding snakes and taking payments over several months and got a littel upset about it. If you are a snake broker you should have the money to buy what you want mark it up and resell it to your customer.
I perfer an e-mail instead of phone calls, A lot of people need to watch their minutes on their phone calls. It's ok to call or e-mail if you have the money to send, but I don't like multiple calls in a day saying I might have a buyer or I should be getting the mony, I should be sending some money soon. I don't need to be strung along when you have the money send it. After a couple of week of a few calls a day almost everyday and then have some one dissaper for a month and a half not answer any e-mailsent to them I became very uncomfortable doing business. It is very hard to put all your eggs in one basket and risk shipping it to a stranger. I am very sorry I backed out of this deal I had with Rick, but I just didn't feel comfortable with the risk.

Wow, what a mess! You guys are nuts. I've got this to say to you: Adam, don't take money from someone if you can't provide the goods. Rick, learn to type clearer, it is really tough to read your writing. Laura, stop bashing Nigerians. They aren't all bad. And finally, What happend to the animals that were supposed to be shipped? I would love a good deal on one of those Jeff Ronne pastel hets. And noone ever answered me about the money that paypal taxed. The order is pretty much re filled at the moment ( except one albino boa ) for all a very similar order, and it will be collected by the weekend by a respected breeder. I am just awaiting to check with my British Sales rep. I am very happy to even hear that the new Pastel hets are not only coming from Jeff Ronnie Bloodline , but from the pastel dream bloodline of Jeff Ronnie to a coral phase albino for the very same price. All is sorted well Cooter and this point and yes Adam was spoken to on these additional percentages that were not returned in good faith . I hope Adam is honorable on sorting this himself. He has fulfilled everthing otherwise and I will be sending a e-mail with the total in a moment.

As far as the animals gose I still hav 5.5 albino boas 50% poss het stripe. I have 2 06 womas , and 3.3 100% hets from boaphile lucy line crossed with my coral albino. Having the snakes to provide to rick is not the problem. I do not feel comfortable with the way he dose business.

Its kind of scary when you recieve an email saying dont ever contact me again and you only have half the money returned, especially when that money isnt ours, that was my main concern and the reason for this thread, it was to see if anyone knew or had dealings with adam before and would we be guarenteed the money back, we knew as much about him as he did us, its a lot of money to send/trust a person with you have never met, then for them to back out on the last minute.

All money was refunded so its all good..over with in my book..

And yes those emails are from Adam, he got the name wrong in that one email.

Un-fort, with dealing through some of our customers and deposits were collected, dealing with a major order some snakes were not payed with their deposits as scheduled on the days that they were advised to my sales reps they would be and this was specified to Adam. Was it not his choice on some of these to deny the sale at this time. Of Course it was and I would of told my sales reps this if he has so done choose too. Now Laura, I am asking for you now to stop placing me in a position too keep posting e-mails after this, and let Adam move forward on getting the respected name that this individual is seeking. The e-mail I am presenting shows that Adam was working fine with the customers who did not fulfill their deposits.

Rick, I am not trying to drag this out. Adam posted his side of the story and in my opinion, I would have returned your money also. I don't see any damage to Adam's name at all.

Thanx for the compliment, but I am nothing close to a reptile PI of any kind.

You are the one who attempted a payment plan with out his permission, called his house multiple times a day, and he was the one to turn away your business.

Kevin, the emails were posted by rick, they may have been sent by Adam, but rick posted them. If it were me, I would have checked them before posting them here.

Both Laura's, If you both wish for further e-mails to defend on here, feel free to do so and keep dragging. BUT ITS NOT in the best interest tho, trust me on that for Adam. I did get all the money back as promised but it took freezing his account to do this and I would be happy to prove that with his own e-mail. Now do you both want to continue or do we need to start posting more verification? Lets leave Adam alone already. Regarding who one wishes to buy or sell to is up to the individuals and is the right of both parties. My heart is for Adam and I wish him all the best of luck in the future.

I am going to have to disagree on this one. Yes a payment plan was instituted but Adam agreed to it by letting it go on for several months. I have dealt with a number of overseas wholesalers like Rick who function in pretty much this same way.

If Adam wanted to terminate the transaction, the time was several months ago when terms and conditions he did not care for begin to pop up. I.E the payment plan, frequent phone calls etc. In my opinion, he had absolutely no business unwinding the transaction once the animals were paid for and shipping was imminent. That is simply bad business.

And on the Emails, Rick posted them in their entirety. I would not have altered them to correct a typo of Adam's.

My point Randy is that I am sure his writing style did not deteriorate after the transaction began. This was the guy Adam struck the deal with. This was the guy he took payments from over a period of months. The time to back out was then, not at the 11th hour after he had been paid in full. Also, remember that this thread would not exist at all if Adam had sent a full refund originally.

As to the threats, you and i are reading that differently. My take is that Rick thinks the Emails will be more damaging to Adam so he is trying to avoid posting them.

A agree that Rick's diction would have prompted a few questions initially. Not just prior to shipping though.
