Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Actually Dean, I was not referring to you. You clearly stated you've never done business with him in a prior post.

FWIW, there are timelines on other threads on other forums that predate March 2010 and in which Adam has taken full responsibility for the situation.
 
Sorry, been out of the house and the thread has blown up in a few hour so I can't address everyone. The one thing I will say is the 2 years is a misleading amount of time. Much of that time was spent trying to obtain permits with intention of shipping snakes. It's not like Adam took the money 2 years ago and this guy has spent all of that time trying to get a refund. In fact, it seems from the "proof" (I use the term lightly) posted, he didn't have an issue with the $5K until a few months ago, likely because the permit process was still underway.

I figured that there was and I suppose I should break and go read them on the other forum. I just thought that they, the proof, should have been posted here as well. Sort of makes me feel that Fauna is the "overflow" thread since nothing was really posted here but 3 emails.

There is no reason for him to wait. He posted 2 emails. I find it hard to believe that is all the communication in 2 years. I know if someone had my $5K I would be in contact far more often. What does the rest of the timeline look like? Andrew should come here and answer these questions.

He did say that he had more, so I can't argue that.

However, what does it matter about the time line?? It's HIS money (Adam has admitted to owing it. So, why can't he have it back without needing MORE proof?:ack2:

You are missing my point. I am not saying he doesn't deserve his money back. I am questioning those who continue to say that he has been waiting 2 years for his money.

He waited 2 years for snakes he bought. He has waited 4 months for the money that was paid for those snakes.

What's Rhetoric? Bullshit where? Because I don't think it matters if someone only had the money for 4 months?

By your logic..it doesn't matter if I take money for a product that I don't supply, and spend it and delay paying it back for a while, as long as I plan (when pestered) to pay it back?

Yes, I did ignore the partion of this situation where he was struggling with CITES..the point is..the money was NOT his.

No.. he's been waiting for 2 years for his snakes.. .and now he wants his money back.

Somewhere on this site someone said some breeders can get their CITIES paperwork in a week or less. Why 2 years for a big name like Adam Wysocki?

He posted an invoice from 2008 and he still doesnt have his snakes... what more do you want? Thats two years with no snakes and no money. It really is that simple.

Adam admitted to needing to repay him his money since no snakes. Thus the debt... It really is that simple.

Really, it isn't that simple. Adam has agreed to repay him but people seem stuck on "2 years". If everyone is stuck on that then there needs to be an explanation of what happened during those 2 years.
 
Yes he has agreed to repay him ... and I also believe that I read in this thread that the OP originally wanted a payment plan with Adam... but Adam said no... he wanted all the money up front.

And now Adam wants a payment plan with the OP for 6 months to pay off the debt. Doesnt quite seem fair does it?

It is what it is. People have financial issues. It doesn't make him a bad guy.
