That's pretty low Alex. Not just to flip a rescued animal, but to do so with NO quarantine, no idea of it's health (looks to be bad, to me), and LIE, LIE, LIE...in your ad, in your e-mail, and then to the BOI. All to make a quick buck.

I think now everyone can see that this snake, though very well may be on the road to recovery, is not anywhere near where she should be.

And guys, I apologize for the 3rd party info, I will no longer be posting anything regarding that as I have not been given consent to share name/e-mail address. I just had to confirm what I felt, and I think Alex helped out in doing so.

And I know this isn't much, but maybe shows a pattern of behavior...posting and pulling ads, possible misrepresentation of animals, etc...just something to think about.

John knows Alex. It seems that Alex is a young kid who really doesn't know much about advertising, flipping, selling, etc and made a big mistake with how he handled this whole situation.

Lying about how long you've had an animal from the "had it since it was a hatchling" to "I got it 2 hours ago" is not an example of "doesn't know much about advertising. etc". Lying to a rescue and saying he would not sell or breed it, and posting it for sale(the ad says FOR SALE) a few hours later is not a case of "doesn't know" it's a case of outright lying.

If he's old enough to buy and sell, he's old enough to understand the concept of lie vs truth. Leaving aside the whole "moral" question of whether someone would/should breed a rescue, the guy lied outright about the origins of the snake, the past health history of the snake, the amount of time he owned the snake AND his intentions for the snake back when he got it from the rescue. This isn't even a case of being vague like "I got it a while back" but a case of "since it was a hatchling" vs "hours".

I don't disagree. I was merely relaying the info regarding this situation in response to Dan's question about whether or not John knew Alex.

its sad when you take the time to post on something that has nothing to do with you? im 100% sure you have no intentions on what i was doing. maybe im a new up and coming breeder and wanted to learn prices and see trade values for a pewter? maybe i just wanted to post to see what cool morphs people were willing to offerfor $hits and giggles...




if you want to look at it like that go for it.... i will no longer be responding to this post regardless and on that note if you want to belive with this man states then just dont buy snakes from me? i lack to see the argument at hand that im a bad guy because i participate on a free website?

Alex, there is a reason for this BOI, wether or not you want to realize it or not. As for your attempt of flipping a rescue snake without QT first, maybe you should read this thread... and MAYBE... just MAYBE... you will understand the reason for PROPER QUARANTINE!

okay its getting old getting spammed in my email over a snake so ill be the bigger person and end this hold debate on which people are to ignorant to realize...

let me clear it up this snake is not a rescue just a snake that got treated for a small respiratory infection and is well and 100% healthy now.... i did not tell you this cause i was just trying to find out info

Also im 17 years old and was not sure of the price or what the price was for a female sub adult pewter.... so me needing info on something i did not know just getting into ball pythons i posted saying i was selling this snake....

the people that sold me the snake were very well aware of what i was doing from the start that i wanted to know what a pewter was worth..

So the only thing i did wrong was falsely advertise a snake.... but when people dont mind there own business and are to full of them selfs and need someone to talk to to make a 6 page post on someone who just got into snakes then go for it why can you keep to your self and let your buddys no not the hole forum on something we sent about 4 emails about....


AND RIGHT WHEN I FOUND WHAT THE PRICE WAS WORTHH!!! from a friend john i deleted my post.. i did not see that was posted on here he gave you the story but not the hole thing i BS'ed him the hole time to find a price on a snake?

you can look at my account and see im new get over your selfs reall and dont quote me or reply to my post it gets old when im waiting for emails and its people crying about something that has nothing to do with them.....

God is the only one that has the right to judge anyways dont start with me about flipping snakes when if you were offered a 300 pewter and could sell it for 1.5k scum balls it dose not matter if it was a rescue or not you all sell your snakes on hear when most people no very little about what there doing atleast i try to learn how to price stuff right...

ive had this girl ever since she was a hatch-ling my buddy who is a underground breeder produced her and she has always been a great eater it just this winter she did not go off feed she just would not eat every week more like every 2 weeks or 17 days she only lost a little weight i really should have not put she thined out she just trimmed out she did not gain weight just stayed a steady 470gram she is a 2009.

Who would want to deal with anyone who not only doesn't tell the truth...
