Yup, we disagree Bryon.
I can post my bank account number , credit card number. whatever you want for the whitch hunt. At any point in time did I say the way I did this was right?
Forgive me Bryon. Since at no point in this thread did you say "the way you did this was right" as you point out, forgive those of us who felt you were accountable for your words and actions with regard to the choices you made. None of us are perfect, but if we make mistakes in the undermining of another's reputation, deservedly or not, its usually a serious enough situation to acknowledge what those mistakes are to the extent we know them. I keep drawing a conclusion that makes me feel that you believe Allen is accountable, but you may not be? He's the topic, since he's the target of your allegations, but the veracity and ethics of your actions and allegations should not be questioned? Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but when you make excuses for your own lack of veracity, there's just too many ways to fill-in-the-blank as to what extent you think accountability matters.
So its a "witch hunt" ..... some of us just saw it as a search for the ever-elusive truth, the foundaton on which your credibility is judged by each of us as individuals. It is easier to blow-off a witch hunt though.
Does it make more sense to post your bank info, etc., than the truth? A few of us feel like we only got half of it from you Bryon. Did we get all the truth from Allen? Highly highly unlikely, but he was paying a hefty price before he even opened his mouth here, even if his reply was gospel. Within a broad range of sound ethics, without the "things not right", you had him nailed pretty good too! That's why I have a hard time with the added unethical "not right" things you did. You did not need to make those choices (post #202).
If nothing else Bryon, am I assuming too much by concluding that if you "did not do it right", that you made mistakes? If we are able to fix our mistakes, are these fixable? What's the fix? Or is it OK to not fix them, 'cause most of the problem is on someone else now?
Good luck in putting things back together Bryon. I actually support you in compelling the maximum amount of compliance that Allen is accountable for to state and other regulatory agencies. While many within this thread will have different views of what is acceptable, I don't quibble with officials, as they tend to be more objective than most of us. As to how the rest of us influence accceptability ......... we get to vote with our dollars.
