To put it right out there , the pictures were not faked. Didn't need to be. The conditions the animals were in in those pictures is the same conditions over 80% of the animals at that time were in. I didn't squeeze any snakes to get poo out of them , I didn't dump waterbowls and I didn't grow fungus or mold to throw in the pictures. The only thing I EVER added was the newspaper for the date.
I was the only , again ONLY , employee Allen had to care for his wholesale , breeders , retail reptiles in the petshop and builder of rodent racks . I also helped Allen deliver , set up and pick up his jumpers and my last day was spent laying sewer pipe. The wholesale building at that time was on his property and ALL of his breeding stock except for 1 6 slot rack of leos was at his shop. Most of my time was spent framing the wholesale room , framing the breeder room in his new rodent building and building rodent racks when not doing shows ( 2 day show 1 x a month , Dixie show 1 X a month ). I also built a couple of racks for the wholesale room. I also did all the pick ups from his supplier and ran 99% of the deliveries to the customers so no, I didn't steal no damn customer list. I knew who they were since I'm the one who did the deliveries. Go figure on that one huh.
A small part of my day and I mean very small was to dig through the wholesale racks and pull the dead animals. I was instructed to toss them into the woods behind his neighbors house . In the 2 months I worked for Allen I cleaned his breeder rack of BPs twice , the day I started and once more after that for an average of once a month with an occasional spot clean here and there of a few tubs I could fit in.
I kept anything personal between me and Allen out of thread because it doesn't belong here but you can bet your sweet ass I caught 9 levels of hell for this thread and not just here. I've been called a liar , bipolar ( there was even an e-mail being sent around about that ) a looser and god knows what else. Guess where all that info came from. You guessed it. Hell , I was even threatened with legal action , never did get to hear from a lawyer tho.
I started this thread with no other intention than to keep a promise I made to Allen the day I agreed to work for him. The promise was " You ever get shady , I'm busting your ass out " . Well here it is. I had no intention of starting this to run him out of biz for any personal or financial gain. It wasn't to get any " compition out of the way. I spoke up for those who couldn't speak for themselves. Ooooo that sounds corny but its true.
As for myself I'm loyal to a fault to anyone who has earned it. Why wasn't I loyal to Allen?
1) It was agreed that for the first year I would get a base amount per week plus a percentage of what was sold that we bred at Allen's facility. I was promised by Allen that nothing produced by us would be traded , a month later my percentage went screaming out the window when Allen decided to put half of what was produced up for trade. I wasn't getting paid for anything that was traded off.
2) I was told by Allen that he BRED his colubrids and beardies only to be told 2 weeks later that someone else did it. Read what ya want into it but there was plenty of things said only to be forgotten about and the story changing when mentioned again.
3) I was instructed by Allen that if on HIS clock ( this was before I realized I was actually a contractor on my own clock ) that if visiting the store of a customer I seen something I wanted to let him know and tell him my offer for him to go to the owner. I did this twice. Once was for a 6 foot vision cage I told Allen to make an offer on for me. He said " Sure " made the offer , bought the cage and decided to keep it for himself. This was after agreeing to taking the cost of the cage out of my next paycheck. Boom , out a cage that he knew I wanted and I followed the rules to get.
Second time , His partner had a trio of boas I wanted , I told him if they were ever up for sale to let us know first. I let Allen know what my offer would be . A week before I quit Allen called me to ask my advice on an offer for him to get the boas for himself. Thats 2 times I followed the rules and he screwed me.
4) Allen added extra work to what we agreed on and told me I would be working a holiday. i told him he needed to start upping my check for the extra work and I don't work holidays for less than $20 bucks an hour. I was told by Allen that I wasn't getting a pay increase and that I would be working that holiday.
5) I was offered as a type of bonus that if anything came in on the lists from his suppliers that I wanted or came in on an order that I could get first pick for HIS COST. WRONG!!!! On an average I got charged 10 bucks extra. Like I wouldn't know since I'm the one who picked up our orders and had to go over the invoice with the delivery guy.
6) The first show I ever did with Allen in South Carolina I watched him mark a bunch of normal BPs as poss hets for albino or pied. He not only admitted to this in e-mail but on this thread as well.

I will be glad to put you on the phone with Mark Bell where I bought the pos het animals. I did however not tell you which ones they were, so I did just mark some of them not knowing exactly which ones they were. That was wrong! I do not know how or when I lied to you. I did not think the jumpers or the sewer job was a problem though. I am sorry for the misunderstanding. I am fair Bryon and I would love to talk about these things and any other concerns you have and try to work out any differences. Wheather you decide to talk this out and continue to work with me is entirely up to you. But I do want to talk about these issues and continue to have a relationship with you. I do value your knowledge about reptiles and would hate to lose this relationship with you!!!

Not seeing much in the way of developing loyalty.
Before anyone says anything I'm going over all this again since it seems a person or two don't seem to quite grab onto things right in front of their noses. During the whole ordeal an e-mail was bounced around claiming I was bipolar , I lived with my parents since I had to medicated and monitored I was a looser that trolled chatrooms for chicks etc etc.. Even my personal info was used by Allen in a feeble attempt to make himself look better. Well here it is.
I do live at home with my folks. My mom is in the beginning stages of diminsia(sp) and my father has been in the ICU twice in the last 6 weeks over his heart stopping. He has had a defibrilator / pacemaker installed since we live in the country and if his heart stopped he would die before the we made the 45 minute trip to the hospital. My dad is an ex Green Beret , did an extended tour in Viet Nam , never asked help from anyone but broke down ad asked me to live here to help watch over my mom because he couldn't handle it alone. I now get to look foward to taking over a good bit of the bills plus all land / house maintenence since neither of them can really do it and hes not allowed to lift over 10 pounds or use anything that would cause him to shake or vibrate since it could throw his pacemaker into overdrive. Since I take care of the place now and would be making trips out here anyway to do what was needed I decided to not bother living elsewhere, What would be the point.
Now that Laura is here and my folks totally dig her we were given a piece of the property to to put a house on since we would be close by anyways and would be spending a good deal of time here.
So there ya go. I live at home for the simple reason of family loyalty. Not due to mental illness , meds or need of being monitored. I know my folks would be there for me if I ever needed them and I'll be damned if I won't be there for them. Pick it apart if ya want I don't care. Don't like the idea of me living with mommy and daddy , Screw you and the horse ya rode in on. Like I said , I'm loyal to those who deserve it.
I've worked hard for the reputation I have and to this point I've yet to have a deal go bad or wrong on my part. Go ahead and look , you won't find anything negative about me on this forum.
As far as Allen goes , I have no ill will or intentions toward him. I'm in a good place in my life ( as screwed up as it is ) and having those feelings or motivations would be a waste for one of such insignificance. I'd be cordial enough to say hello or good bye if we ran across each other at a show but it would be no more or less than that. I see alot of bragging and hot corn fed air with no substance behind it and doubtful there ever will be. Anyone who has to keep throwing in the $$$ value of their collection just has be compensating for something. With that said there are a few things I'll go over that just need to be touched on.
The IBD thing. Fecal and or blood tests are not the way to go. ANY competant vet that knows his / her job will recommend the ACTUAL test needed which is a tissue biopsy from the liver. Its not that test because the majority says so ITS THE ONLY CONCLUSIVE TEST. The funny thing is the wholesale building burning down " conviently " shortly after the IBD came out. Hmmmmm , a cover? Can't test animals that got burned up can ya. Can you say smoke screen boys and girls? Is this an attack on Allen???? Nope. But for someone being accused of something such as having IBD one would think any negative test results would be posted for the world to see. Beside , how can you have a 1 million dollar collection and someone can burn your wholesale building down just a couple hundred feet away from said high dollar collection and get away with it? No security cameras? No alarms? How odd. Not even a fence?

from the know as fact list. allens wholesale shed burnt to the ground along with a very large number of animals, and the other half of the shed held his family's extras we all have. Allen replaced the building before he brought one wholesale animal. he has mixed his high end with his wholesale in the past. the only time i know of was when he first started in the pet shop he kept his high end in the back room of the pet shop, till a building could be built.
Jon I'm glad you have had no more problems. it was a scare for all. i was lax in my adding new animals as I'm sure we all have added one to quick.
and buying from shows and over the Internet will be more closely watch by over 30,000 people. and it shows the larger breeders that they have a higher standard to maintain.

. That and the things you like to brag about in your posts along with the stories you can't keep up with. I hate to tell ya but if the only thing you base your success off of is the dollar signs with no true love for whats making you that money , that doesn't seem to a true success. Like I said , I have no ill will toward ya and could really care less if you disappeared off the face of the earth. I would advise to take a long look at this entire thread and ask yourself one question. If we were both standing in front of GOD today to get our final judgement over this mess , who do you think is gonna burn in hell first? In case you can't figure it out , it won't be me. When an individual has the truth at his fingertips , his story has no need of change to sway others.
For any of those that care to doubt me , feel free to , your choice . Just keep in mind that between the 2 folks on this thread you get to choose from 1 has lied repeatedly ,used smoke screens, admitted to scamming with poss het normals and a bit of his past showing his true colors is even in here. But if putting everything together isn't your thing then I nor anyone else can help ya.
Rant over , long long hours at work has me a bit droopy eyed so I'm done before this post makes any less sense than it already does. Too many things for me to go over in one post.
P.S. I've said it before , I'll say it again. Want to know anything about me , feel free ask me. I have no prob answering questions.
