In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Amanda & Mike Webb of The Pet Gecko

I don't mind telling everyone that I know about a seller that has CRYPTO.

It could be another breeder, a customer, or Joe from down the street.

Diseases that could potentially KILL OFF OR CRIPPLE an entire collection? Yeah, I don't have to buy a dying gecko from the Webbs to inform people to stay the heck away from them.

I personally thank the OP for blowing the whistle on these guys.

It's crazy that proof positive the crypto came from them and they're still denying and still unloading geckos to the public. Crazy.

It has now been two weeks since your offer of documentation and proof of negative Crypto results, Mike, and over two MONTHS since this entire ordeal started.

All you have provided to date is one document with no names, dates, species, or other identifiable information, and you still haven't apologized directly to me for the foul and entirely unprofessional language you spewed in my direction.

You have officially reached the end of my patience.

I will not be an active participant in this thread any more. I presented my case, I provided more than enough documentation, and I have attempted to remain professional throughout despite your failure to do the same. I am DONE waiting for something that is clearly never going to happen.

Now and in the future, I will provide my opinion on doing business with you, your wife, or your business to anyone who asks, and I will provide a link to this thread as needed.

To those still following this thread who have offered their support, assistance, and/or constructive criticism, thank you.

So Mike, do you think this is just going to go away if you ignore it long enough? Still waiting on all your results (the real ones). I've been reading more on facebook about another buyer with a crypto animal from you. What do you have to say about that one?

My questions to you Mike and Amanda Webb, how long have you known that you have crypto running rampant through you collection?

How long will you continue to sell these sick geckos?

Do either of you have any heart or compassion for the customers you have sold sick geckos to?

Well, 39 pages of reading were well worth it. I keep and breed Leopard geckos on a small scale and will NEVER buy from the Webbs. Thank you Angela and others for bringing this to light.

Nicolas, any word from Antec?

Mike, you going to post any pictures of YOUR animal's test results? You admitted to working at a vet and said Antec is your employer's lab of choice. Did you just hang out by the fax machine until a cover page from Antec came through from one of your client's pets?

I was mad when I bought a snake with mites. I can only imagine how irate I would be getting a gecko with Crypto!

Uhmm... I'm pretty sure that *I* said I work at a veterinary hospital and that the one I used to work for used Antech...

Also, this.

Do to lack of evidence that they had their geckos test I have decided to change my stance regarding the Webbs. The geckos I purchased are still healthy but that is probably just amazing luck on my end. Of course im still not planning on bringing them out of quarantine any time soon and at the first sign of illness i will have them specifically tested for crypto and make a thread of my own if they come back positive. I wasnt even planning on posting but this thread made a bit of a come back recently so I figured it couldnt hurt.

You can have a test run at Avian for less than $25 per gecko. It's really easy. I've had the majority of mine tested (some from each breeding group). I hope yours are healthy though. I'm still worried about anyone who has purchased from them this year. How many others never had their geckos tested? Most people wouldn't pay hundreds of dollars on a necropsy for a $40 gecko. And not everyone knows that crypto testing can be done easily now.

As a new member on this board, and a small-scale breeder, I was appalled by the sellers' response. Although I may not deal with hundreds of shipments a year, one value that makes a business grow, no matter what business, is great customer service. This whole thread could've been prevented by a simple refund. Like many people stated earlier on this thread, why would you let a $60 transaction ruin your reputation?
