I guarantee my IP isnt in AZ because im in UT. I made this account in AZ and I dont know how to change it. I will if someone tells me how though.
I actually have ready the entire thread and I only posted what it sounded like you wanted. If I was wrong in my assumption then I apologize. What Iv been trying to say (unsuccessfully obviously) Is that a sick gecko and an outburst dont really deserve a 20+ page bad guy thread. And from reading the thread almost all of the posts are completely about the outburst. If you dont get a refund its obviously because this thread has really upset the seller and posting that you dont expect a refund probably wont help your odds at getting one. Yes, a crypto positive could have costed you thousands, but as far as I know, it has not. Personally if I bought a 60$ gecko and it started looking sick I would not have spent nearly as much as you spent diagnosing/euthanizing it. Is that because I dont care for my reptiles? No. Its because im realistic and would prefer to save that money on the reptiles I have spent years bonding with or costed me alot more. I would also not take a cat off the street and immediately take it to the vet.
If the animals i bought from them are infected with crypto then they will die, but they will die alone as they are in quarantine. Of course I bought mine around the same time this thread was started and i have seen no symptoms. I see no reason to spend hundreds of dollars putting a 60$ animal down when i could just as easily spend that money keep the animals I actually have bonded to alive. I care about my reptiles so much that im willing to let 1 die so i can afford to save the rest. Sorry you dont understand that. And to the person who said i didnt go back far enough, the page had MAYBE 30 reviews and 20 of them were from here and the rest were 4 star reviews. Iv been watching this thread since day 1 and same with their page. If you are saying many people had geckos die, then you must have found that info somewhere besides their FB page.

So, on the same thought, giving my own dog much needed veterinary care and even a quiet, painless death wouldn't be worth it because I got her for free. Sure, I understand the fact that if you had put in a larger investment, it would put pressure on you to keep the animal alive, but just because the gecko that died was only $60 -or that you just hadn't quite "bonded" with it yet- doesn't mean that the animal's comfort should be sacrificed. Just letting a creature die alone in quarantine simply because you either can't or don't want to afford euthanasia and that it'll just die anyway-- that's a cruel way to view any living creature, no matter how you look at it. Dying of crypto must be incredibly painful, but the fact that the gecko was only $60 means that it wasn't worth relief, and has to suffer through massive organ failure.
Classy.

If you're having to choose between quality of life for one of your geckos and food for the rest of your collection, you probably shouldn't have that many. The cost of euthanasia and the test for a very fatal, dangerous, contagious disease shouldn't be considered throwing away money or a luxury expense.
I'm sure if humans could catch Crypto, this thread would have ended up very differently.
Sorry you dont understand that.
Yeah, me too.
What I have is medical records and copies of the faxed report to my herp vet from the lab, not a screen shot that says crypto- negative.
I think its kind of ridiculous how little time you guys are giving him to post any proof. If its not a screenshot it isnt a quick process to post it all. If my proof was on paper and not digital it would take me several days to post anything.
Sam, 1 question. can you sleep well tonight not worrying if the reptiles you purchased from the Webbs are positive or negative for crypto?
The webbs have offered me nothing for my support and i have not even spoken with either of them since my transaction was completed. The only proof of transaction with them i have is a couple geckos I have in quarantine that are doing fine that i picked up at the expo a little while ago in salt lake. And obviously spending a few hundred to keep 1 animal alive wont stop me from caring for my other animals but spending a few thousand putting down 4 or 5 animals is not financially responsible. Also, there is always the possibility that the gecko the buyer got caught gecko at the expo and the symptoms it was showing were from stress and the crypto hadnt actually showed symptoms yet. The lack of other threads about crypto lead me to believe that is probably the case. And that 1 negative comment must have slipped my mind but im certain there wernt others because there were hardly any reviews at all.
