    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Thats why I said perhaps the symptoms show were just symptoms of stress and not crypto. I didnt see any records showing the exact date the crypto was contracted.The symptoms shown could have just been the stress of the move and the crypto was just an unhappy coincidence.

Are you KIDDING me?

Crypto doesn't magically appear out of thin air. It doesn't matter if stress was causing the symptoms, and it certainly doesn't make the crypto less of a big deal.

Are you serious?!? Do you know anything about crypto?
The poor little gecko had crypto, as show by the ABT test results.

I believe you are just being dense & don't want to admit that when you first commented, you did not read the entire thread. (That is the only explanation that I can come up with, for your blind following.)

Im not saying it does magically appear. Im saying that iv read no other reports of crypto even though the webbs have sold ALOT of geckos since this thread and its a very contagious disease/parasite. Are you saying its impossible that in a large room of various reptiles that none of them could have possibly spread crypto to a gecko? Or to the person who was walking around with the gecko? I find it very unlikely that there would be no other geckos the webbs sold without crypto if the one the buyer purchased caught it from their collection.

Testing for crypto is expensive, as has been complained about by the seller multiple times in this thread. Why do you assume that every person with a sick or dead gecko from them would test it for crypto? Just because this is the first/only crypto diagnosis doesn't mean that it was the only infected animal.

I really can't say if you're being intentionally dense or if the seller has paid you off or requested that you post here. I can tell you that it's not helping his or your reputation at all.

How many people actually test for crypto when an animal dies or is sick? Very few. There don't need to be other reports. THIS animal tested positive for crypto after being purchased from the Webbs.
 
And personally im going to give the benefit of the doubt to the seller who has had hundreds of happy buyers as apposed to the 1 unhappy seller. And im talking about The Pet Gecko as the seller as the negative reviews that have been posted here are not for this particular business. And since it seems that Amanda Webb is the person running the business anyways and the threads are about Mike Webb I dont think they are necessary at all in this thread. I bought my geckos from Amanda Webb and the buyer here bought her gecko from Amanda Webb. I have heard nothing negative about Amanda so far so i see no reason not to give her the benefit of the doubt.

The business may be in Amanda Webb's name, but she is not the one who responded here ... Mike Webb did, therefore it must be his business also.
Amanda is complicit in this dealing as well, more so by her silence than her spoken words.

How long has it been since you bought your geckos?

There have been other postings on facebook. The Webbs removed them from their page.
 
I bought my geckos the day this thread was started. I found this thread when I got home from the expo. No symptoms from either of them yet. If they have crypto I would ahve expected to see symptoms by now and is the main reason I have been silent for the majority of this thread. If mine had shown symptoms I would posted in support of testing all their animals. Since they havent I believe testing a sample from each of their racks is probably all that is needed. Also, since I havent read any other negative reports about their geckos I believe this 1 with crypto either got it from the expo, or some unknown source. If it came from the webbs collection I dont think anyone will disagree that other geckos that were bought would be sick.
 
There was the 1 that was shown in the SS. As i said i went through all of them weekly from day 1 of this thread. They hardly had any reviews (most from the people on this thread who were mad about mikes outburst). There was 1 negative, I didnt see one from the buyer here, and the rest were positive reviews.
 
And frankly I wouldv removed the review section too if it were being used top post negative reviews by people who never did business with them.

Connor Schmidt ive gotten my first morph form them a ( pinstripe) bp ... paid 125 .. on the way home it was showing signs of RI . yawning and mucus.. it was in blue .... well it died i was told to freeze it .. he replaced it with a yb male and a normal female .. .. male was healthy .. female didnt even eat ! .. force fed her for 2 months! .... worst experience for a person just getting into ball pythons!i dont trust anything from them!

Do either of those sound like crypto? Im not experienced enough about crypto to make any decision about it myself. And are those reviews from The Pet Gecko or more about mike webb however many years ago the rest of the threads posted happened? I was unaware that The Pet Gecko sold anything but geckos, chameleons, and im pretty sure I saw some turtles at one point. I dont recall any snakes.
 
Regardless if there has been no other "deaths" one is enough to do at least random testing of their collection.
That would be the RESPONSIBLE thing to do. So far there has been no proof that this has been done.

Also, did the female BP die or is it now healthy? Not eating for a couple months sounds like a stress thing for BPs and iv had some go longer and then start eating. Unless it died.

These were reviews on the webbs. They have been selling reptiles for years. I don't care if they were crypto or not. They have been known to sell sick animals and yet you continue to argue with everyone here and defend them. All you're doing is making yourself look bad and losing people to do business with. When I became a breeder and was learning from other respectable breeders, the webbs were never mentioned. I hadn't even heard of them. Maybe you should listen to the people who actually know what they are talking about. Fine, you like them, but it doesn't make any of this ok.

That is what I said should be done as well. So far though, I seem to be the only person who is patient enough to wait for the proof to be posted. Im personally willing to give them another week before I start to doubt whether or not they did any testing.
 
My business was with The Pet Gecko and i have yet to read anything negative against that company or Amanda Webb. Mike Webb I have read a lot about and I probably wont do any business directly with him. I will believe Amanda Webb is a good seller until you link me to something that says otherwise against HER and not just her husband.
